IMPROVEMENT IN HAIR-TONICS.
Specification formingpart of Letters Patent No. 209,335, dated October 29, 1878; application filed October 7, 1878.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that we, ADAM EMIG and THE- ODOR EMIG, residing, respectively, in Sheri- ,dan, county of La Salle, and State of Illinois,
have invented a new and useful Compound, which is fully described in the following specification.
This invention relates to that class of compounds known as hairinvigorators, and
consists of the combination of the ingredients as hereinafter described. 7 I
To prepare our said compound for use as a hair invigorator 'and restorer, we first crush or grind about one-half of a bushel of whiteoak bark, and add thereto seven gallons of kerosene-oil, which are allowed to remain toget-her in any suitable vessel for about five to six weeks, when the oil is drawn ofl and strained, after which any suitable perfume may be added for the purpose of destroying
