Abstract
A self-rocking baby crib that is highly mobile throughout a hospital that produces a motion that is smooth and relatively quiet. The self-rocking baby crib includes a wire coupling allow for smooth electrical current flow, insulation and protection of wires, and wire organization. The self-rocking baby crib includes a base include a pair of raised bars, a pair of handles, and a plurality of apertures. The pair of raised bars disposed on each side of the base. The pair of handles are disposed between the side edge of the base and the pair of raised bars and are a pair of cutout handles. The self-rocking baby crib also includes power source include a power knob and a voltage digital display to display the volage to the self-rocking baby crib.
Description
- This application claims the benefit of U.S. Provisional Application No. 63/389,120 filed on Jul. 14, 2022. The above identified patent application is herein incorporated by reference in its entirety to provide continuity of disclosure.
- The present invention relates to a baby crib. More specifically, the present invention relates to a self-rocking baby crib.
- Getting infants and babies to fall asleep has always been a problem for young parents. Finding a solution that is relatively simple has always been a problem.
- What is needed is a self-rocking baby crib that rocks itself and comforts an infant or baby held in the self-rocking baby crib.
- In view of the foregoing disadvantages inherent in the known types of self-rocking baby crib now present in the prior art, the present invention provides a self-rocking baby crib wherein the same can be utilized for providing convenience for the user when a self-rocking baby crib is in use.
- The present system comprises a self-rocking baby crib that includes self-rocking baby crib, comprising a plurality of electrical components having a motor, a plurality of baby sensors, a power source, and a control knob, a cart and a base, the base sits on a top shelve of the cart, and a rocking cradle and a baby basket, the rocking cradle is disposed on top of the base and the baby basket disposed inside the rocking cradle and extend above the top of the rocking cradle.
- Although the characteristic features of this invention will be particularly pointed out in the claims, the invention itself and manner in which it may be made and used may be better understood after a review of the following description, taken in connection with the accompanying drawings wherein like numeral annotations are provided throughout.

FIG. 4 shows a front perspective view of a self-rocking baby crib, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 5 shows a side perspective view of a self-rocking baby crib, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 6 shows a front perspective view of a battery of a self-rocking baby crib, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 7 shows a front perspective view of a self-rocking baby crib, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. -
FIG. 8 shows a perspective view of a side control box of a self-rocking baby crib, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. - Reference is made herein to the attached drawings. Like reference numerals are used throughout the drawings to depict like or similar elements of the self-rocking baby crib. The figures are intended for representative purposes only and should not be considered to be limiting in any respect.

FIG. 1 shows an environmental side perspective view of a self-rockingbaby crib 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. - The self-rocking
baby crib 100 may contain a baby orinfant 110. -
FIG. 2 shows an overhead prospective view of a plurality of electrical components 120 of the self-rockingbaby crib 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. - The electrical components 120 may include a
motor 122, a plurality of baby sensors (FIG. 5, 124 ), a power source (FIG. 6, 126 ), and a control knob (FIG. 8, 128 ). - The
motor 122 may generate a rocking motion or the like. Themotor 122 may be battery powered or hardwired. Thebaby sensors 124 may detect an infant's or baby's movements to adjust the rocking motion. Thebaby sensors 124 may detect if the infant or baby is asleep to automatically reduce or stop the rocking motion. Thepower source 126 may be abattery 126A orelectrical outlet 126B. Thecontrol knob 128 may adjust the rocking motion speed, the rocking motion duration, and the like. -
FIG. 3 shows a side perspective view of awire coupling 130 for a self-rockingbaby crib 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. - The
wire coupling 130 may allow for smooth electrical current flow, insulation and protection of wires, and wire organization and the like. -
FIG. 4 shows a front perspective view of a self-rockingbaby crib 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. - The self-rocking
baby crib 100 may include acart 140 and abase 150. - The
cart 140 may have a plurality ofwheels 142, amiddle shelf 144, atop shelf 146, and an electrical power wire andplug 148. Thewheels 142 may be disposed on a distal end 143A of each of the 4legs 143 of thecart 140 to facilitate transport of thecart 140. Themiddle shelf 144 may be disposed between each of the 4legs 143 of thecart 140 to allow open storage of any desired items or objects. Thetop shelf 146 may be disposed on top of each of the 4legs 143. - The
base 150 may sit on thetop shelf 146. Thebase 150 may include a pair of raisedbars 152, a pair ofhandles 154, and a plurality ofapertures 156. The pair of raisedbars 152 may be disposed on each side of thebase 150. The pair ofhandles 154 may be disposed between the side edge of thebase 150 and the pair of raisedbars 152 and are a pair ofcutout handles 154A. Theapertures 156 may accommodate a plurality offasteners 158 inserted in each of theapertures 156 to fasten thebase 150 to thetop shelf 146. -
FIG. 5 shows a side perspective view of a self-rockingbaby crib 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. - The self-rocking
baby crib 100 may include a rockingcradle 160 and ababy basket 170. - The rocking
cradle 160 may be disposed on top of thebase 150 and fits between the pair of raisedbars 152 of thebase 150. The rockingcradle 160 may be made of plastic, metal, ceramic or the like. Thebaby basket 170 may be disposed inside the rockingcradle 160 and extend above the top of therocking cradle 160. Thebaby basket 170 may be made of transparent plastic, transparent glass or the like. -
FIG. 6 shows a front perspective view of abattery 126A of a self-rockingbaby crib 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. - The
battery 126A may include avoltage regulator 126B or the like to stabilize or regulate the voltage supplied to the self-rockingbaby crib 100. Thepower source 126 may include apower knob 127 and a voltage digital display to display the volage to the self-rockingbaby crib 100. -
FIG. 7 shows a front perspective view of a self-rockingbaby crib 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. - The
battery 126A of a self-rockingbaby crib 100 may be disposed onmiddle shelf 144 of thecart 140. -
FIG. 8 shows a perspective view of a control knob (FIG. 2, 128 ) of a self-rockingbaby crib 100, in accordance with one embodiment of the present invention. - The
control knob 128 may be disposed on a side of thebattery 126A of a self-rockingbaby crib 100. Thecontrol knob 128 may be rotated to increase or decrease the rocking motion of the rockingcradle 160 and the baby basket (FIG. 7, 170 ). - It is therefore submitted that the instant invention has been shown and described in various embodiments. It is recognized, however, that departures may be made within the scope of the invention and that obvious modifications will occur to a person skilled in the art. With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of the invention, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by the present invention.
- Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the invention. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the invention to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the invention.
Claims (18)
1. A self-rocking baby crib, comprising:
a plurality of electrical components having a motor, a plurality of baby sensors, a power source, and a control knob;
a cart and a base, the base sits on a top shelve of the cart; and
a rocking cradle and a baby basket, the rocking cradle is disposed on top of the base and the baby basket disposed inside the rocking cradle and extend above the top of the rocking cradle.
2. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , wherein the motor is battery-powered.
3. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , wherein the motor is hard-wired.
4. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , wherein the baby sensors detect an infant's or baby's movements to adjust rocking motion.
5. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 4 , wherein the baby sensors detect if the infant or baby is asleep to automatically reduce or stop the rocking motion.
6. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , wherein the power source is a battery.
7. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 6 , wherein the battery includes a voltage regulator to stabilize or regulate voltage to the self-rocking baby crib.
8. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 6 , wherein the battery is a self-rocking baby crib disposed on the cart.
9. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , wherein the power source is an electrical outlet.
10. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , wherein the power source includes a power knob and a voltage digital display to display volage to the self-rocking baby crib.
11. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , wherein the control knob adjusts rocking motion speed and rocking motion duration.
12. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , wherein the control knob disposed on a side of the battery.
13. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , wherein the control knob rotated to increase or decrease the rocking motion of the rocking cradle and the baby basket.
14. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , further comprising a wire coupling to allow for smooth electrical current flow, insulation and protection of wires, and wire organization.
15. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , wherein the cart includes a plurality of wheels, a middle shelf, a top shelf, and an electrical power wire and plug.
16. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , wherein the rocking cradle is made of a material selected from the group consisting of plastic, metal, or ceramic.
17. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , wherein the baby basket is made of transparent plastic.
18. The self-rocking baby crib, according to claim 1 , wherein the baby basket is made of transparent glass.
