Description
- The present invention relates to the technical field of cases and bags, and more particular relates to a multifunctional insulated container.
- Insulated containers are different from ordinary storage containers in that container bodies of the insulated containers are made of special materials that are able to preserve heat or coolness inside the insulated containers, thereby achieving insulation within a short period time. Insulated containers can be used to carry objects like food, medicine or specimens so that their temperature and freshness can be maintained in an environment of stable temperature. Therefore, insulated containers can be widely used for the purpose of portability while maintaining the temperature of the objects inside the container in different fields like food delivery, medicinal drugs and scientific researches.
- At present, container bodies of the insulated containers are made of materials more focused on insulation performance. However, the structures of the container bodies in the prior art usually cannot support heavy weights.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a multifunctional insulated container which has an overall structure that can bear heavier weights so that the insulated container can be more multifunctional.
- To attain the above object, the present invention provides the following technical solutions:
- A multifunctional insulated container, comprising a reinforcement assembly, a first interlayer, a second interlayer, a first outer layer, and a second outer layer; the reinforcement assembly comprises a container body frame and a cover frame, and also a sealing ring; a storage space is formed inside the container body frame; a rear side of the cover frame and a rear side of the container body frame are hinged so that an opening of the storage space is capable of being sealed or unsealed by the cover frame; a locking mechanism is provided between a front side of the cover frame and a front side of the container body frame; the sealing ring is provided at a contact area between the container body frame and the cover frame when the cover frame closes against the container body frame; both the first interlayer and the first outer layer wrap around an outer side of the container body frame, with the first interlayer positioned between the outer side of the container body frame and the first outer layer; the second interlayer is positioned on the cover frame and faces towards the opening of the storage space; the second outer layer is provided on an outer side of the cover frame.
- An annular flange extends outwardly opposite to the storage space from an upper end of the container body frame; a bottom surface of the annular flange is provided with a first annular mounting groove; an upper end of the first interlayer is fitted into the first annular mounting groove; the first outer layer wraps around an outer side of the first interlayer; an upper end of the first outer layer is sealed with the bottom surface of the annular flange.
- A plurality of position limiting projections are protruded outwardly from a bottom surface of the container body frame; the position limiting projections are embedded into the first interlayer.
- A protruded portion removably inserted into the opening of the storage space is provided on the cover frame; the protruded portion is provided with a second mounting groove; the second interlayer is embedded in the second mounting groove.
- A separation layer is disposed on a surface of the second interlayer facing towards the storage space.
- A platform is provided on an upper end surface of the container body frame adjacent to the opening of the storage space; a surface of the platform is provided with an annular rim extending towards the protruded portion; the sealing ring is disposed on the annular rim; when the cover frame closes against the container body frame, the protruded portion is in contact with the sealing ring and presses the sealing ring to deform the sealing ring.
- The sealing ring is adhered to the annular rim.
- The locking mechanism comprises a buckle provided at the front side of the cover frame and a buckle receiver at the front side of the container body frame; when the cover frame closes against the container body frame, the buckle buckles to the buckle receiver.
- The buckle is hinged with the front side of the cover frame; an accommodating groove is provided at the front side of the container body frame; the buckle receiver is positioned inside the accommodating groove.
- By adopting the above technical solutions, the cover frame and the container body frame both made of hard material are provided as an internal framing structure of the insulated container to provide sufficient mechanical strength for the insulated container so that the insulated container can bear heavier weights. The overall structure of the insulated container is stable and will not deform even if some heavy objects are placed on top of the insulated container. Accordingly, the present invention on one hand serves the purpose of insulation, and on the other hand can be used as a chair or a platform on which objects can be placed. The insulated container of the present invention can be carried during outdoor activities to provide convenience for users by achieving multi-purposes.
