Abstract
Provided is a two step instant tent including: a frame part including central frames each having one end rotatably hinged to a central hub, and leg frames detachably and selectively connected to other ends of the central frame; and a main body including a roof part having a central region connected to the central hub, and a body part in which points on an upper periphery are fixed to corner regions, and points on a lower periphery are supported by other ends of the leg frames, wherein area and height of the tent are variable to reduce a volume of the tent when stored and allow a desired size when installed, and wherein a roof part is connected and fixed to a central hub and a leg frame is separated from the tent, so as to be quickly and accurately installed without kinking of the leg frame and damages to the body.
Description
- The present invention relates to a two step instant tent, and more particularly, to a tent for reducing a volume of the tent itself when the tent is stored and allowing the tent to have a desired size when the tent is installed, so as to be conveniently used, in which a roof part of the tent is connected and fixed to a central hub of a central frame of the tent, and a leg frame is formed as a structure separated from a body of the tent, so that the tent is quickly and accurately installed without kinking of the leg frame and damages to the body.
- In general, among various tents mostly used for camping and the like, the special tent called a canopy tent may be a new-concept one-touch-type tent that can be quickly and conveniently installed or dismantled.
- The above canopy tent is also commonly used as an automatic tent. This is originated because the installation and dismantling of the tent may be completed in a short time only by simply placing and unfolding or folding the tent on an installation site, thereby increasing the user convenience.
- As the above canopy tent, that is, the one-touch-type tent, Korean Utility Model Registration No. 223717 discloses an automatic umbrella type canopy tent, which has a feature that the installation of the tent is quickly and easily achieved by automatic operations of frames by springs.
- However, in the frames of the above-described automatic umbrella type canopy tent, a support serving as an essential component is coupled to an upper tent coupling pole (hereinafter referred to as “upper connection pole”) to which a tent fabric is coupled and supported, thereby increasing production costs and decreasing the productivity. In addition, it is difficult to carry the tent since the overall weight and volume of the tent are increased, and the tent fabric is damaged since the tent fabric is caught between the tent coupling pole and the support when the tent is packed and carried.
- In addition, as a one-touch type tent having a configuration different from the automatic umbrella type canopy tent, Korean Patent Registration No. 0300340 discloses a one-touch tent having a feature that coupling and dismentling between the tent and a fly is easily achieved, and a protective cover is wound around a connection part of the pole to reduce damages to a tent fabric. However, because a support serving as an essential component is coupled to an upper connection pole to which the tent fabric is coupled and supported like the frame of the automatic umbrella type canopy tent, there is the same problem in the frame of the above-described automatic umbrella type canopy tent.
- There are various disclosures in addition to the above-described one-touch type tent described above, however, the above problems still remain since the disclosures are mostly configured such that the support is coupled to the upper connection pole.
- Meanwhile, there is a one-touch type tent having a configuration different from the one-touch type tents described above, and disclosed in Korean Patent Registration No. 0431410 entitled by “ONE-TOUCH FOLDING TENT”, which has a feature in that the configuration of an umbrella-shaped auxiliary pole, that is, a support is excluded, but the configuration of a pole connection support member coupled to an upper connection pole is excessively complicated, and accordingly, the assembling and productivity are reduced. There are several problems that, for example, the elasticity of a towing wire and a compression pulling wire formed of rubber bands is decreased when the tent is frequently installed and dismantled, and thus the rubber bands are required to be checked or replaced frequently.
- The present invention is provided to solve the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to provide a tent in which an area and a height of the tent are variable to reduce a volume of the tent itself when the tent is stored and allow the tent to have a desired size when the tent is installed, so as to be conveniently used, and at the same time, a roof part of the tent is connected and fixed to a central hub of a central frame of the tent, and a leg frame is formed as a structure separated from a body of the tent, so that the tent is quickly and accurately installed without kinking of the leg frame and damages to the body.
- In order to achieve the above problem, the present invention proposes a tent that includes: a frame part including a plurality of central frames each having one end rotatably hinged to a central hub and selectively folded or unfolded, and a plurality of leg frames detachably provided to be selectively connected to other ends of the central frame, respectively; a main body including a roof part having a central region connected to the central hub so as to be supported at a predetermined height, and a body part in which a plurality of points on an upper periphery thereof are fixed to corner regions where the central frames and the leg frames are connected, respectively, and a plurality of points on a lower periphery thereof are connected to and supported by other ends of the leg frames, respectively.
- A plurality of connection hubs integrally with the body part and bent at a predetermined angle may be provided in the corner regions between the central frames and the leg frames in which the central frame and the leg frame are inserted into both sides of the connection hub.
- In addition, a plurality of fixing hubs to which the ends of the leg frames are inserted, connected, and fixed may be provided integrally with the body part at a plurality of points in a lower periphery of the body part.
- In addition, the central frame may be provided to be drawn in and out in a width direction of the roof part so as to adjust a length differently when the tent is stored or installed.
- Further, a separate lock button for fixing the central frames may be provided in a central region of the central frame so as to maintain the length-adjusted state of the central frame.
- In addition, the leg frame may be provided to be drawn in and out in a height direction of the body part so as to adjust a length differently when the tent is stored or installed.
- In addition, a separate lock button for fixing the leg frame may be provided in a central region of the leg frame so as to maintain the adjusted length of the leg frame.
- Further, a first wrinkle part may be provided at a periphery of the roof part in which synthetic resin surfaces constituting the roof part overlap with each other so as to expand a width of the roof part.
- In addition, a second wrinkle part may be provided at a lower portion of the body part in which synthetic resin surfaces constituting the body part overlap with each other so as to expand a height of the body part.
- In addition, the main body may be provided at a plurality of points thereof with a plurality of hook members for connecting the main body to the frame part.
- According to the present invention, the width and height of the tent are varied according to the number of users which the tent is required to accommodate, so that a volume of the tent itself can be reduced when the tent is stored and the tent can have a desired size when the tent is installed, so as to be conveniently used.
- In addition, according to the present invention, a roof part of the tent is connected and fixed to a central hub of a central frame of the tent, and a leg frame is formed as a structure separated from a body of the tent, so that the tent can be quickly and accurately installed without kinking of the leg frame and damages to the body.

central frames 110 have the lengths enough to be inserted into theconnection hubs 221, thelock buttons 112 are used to fix the length-adjusted state so as to fix thecentral frames 110. - In the above state, the ends of the
central frames 110 are inserted into theconnection hubs 221, respectively, and then thehook members 230 provided at the points of theroof part 210 in the lengthwise direction of theconnection hubs 221 are fixed to thecentral frames 110, so that theroof part 210 is arranged in close contact with thecentral frames 110 without sagging as a whole. - Then, after adjusting the lengths of the leg frames 120 so that both ends of the leg frames 120 can be inserted into the
connection hubs 221 and the fixinghubs 222, respectively, the length-adjusted state of the leg frames 120 is fixed by using thelock buttons 121 like thecentral frames 110. - When the length adjustment of the leg frames 120 is completed, the both ends of the leg frames 120 are inserted into the
connection hubs 221 and the fixinghubs 222, respectively, while lifting thecentral frames 110, so that the tent is erected while theroof part 110 is supported by the leg frames 120 at a predetermined height. - In addition, the
hook members 230 spaced apart at predetermined intervals in the lengthwise direction of the leg frames 120 in the corner regions of thebody part 220 are fixed to the leg frames 120 one by one, so that thebody part 220 is placed in close contact with the leg frames 120 to prevent the body part from sagging, thereby completing the installation of the tent. - According to the above-described two step instant tent of the present invention, the roof part of the tent is connected and fixed to the central hub of the central frames of the tent, and the leg frames are formed as a structure separated from the body of the tent, so that the tent when the tent is installed can be quickly and accurately installed without kinking of the leg frame and damages to the body.
- Since the present specification has been described merely with respect to some of the preferred embodiments that may be implemented by the present invention, the scope of the present invention, as already known, will not be construed as being limited to the above embodiments, and the technical idea of the present invention described above and the equivalents thereof are all covered in the scope of the present invention.
