Description

  • The subject matter herein relates to technical field of human wellness, especially relates to an office desk with dual functions as a desk and an exercise machine.
  • BACKGROUND
  • People can be very busy in their work, spend much of their time at their desk, and have little time to travel and exercise. Especially for students and office workers who remain seated for a long time, free time to exercise time is reduced, which can seriously affect their physical and mental health. Space in offices and homes may be limited, and there may be no space to install fitness equipment at offices or at home, thus exercise opportunities under these conditions are rare.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • In order to make the above-mentioned objects, features, and advantages of the present disclosure more obvious, specific embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The present disclosure can be implemented in ways different from those described herein, and those skilled in the art can make similar improvements without violating the contents of the present disclosure. Therefore, the present disclosure is not to be considered as limiting the scope of the embodiments to those described herein.
  • Several definitions that apply throughout this disclosure will now be presented.
  • Unless otherwise defined, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one skilled in the art. The terms used in the present disclosure herein are only for describing specific embodiments, and are not intended to limit the present disclosure.
  • Referring to FIG. 1 , an office desk with dual functions 100 as a desk and an exercise machine is disclosed, which includes a table board 10, a support assembly 20, a weight plate assembly 30, and a transmission assembly 40. The table board 10 is configured for office work or study. The support assembly 20 includes a bottom plate 21 and a support pillar 22. The table 10 is movably attached on the support pillar 22. The weight plate assembly 30 is suspended below the table board 10. The transmission assembly 40 includes a drive rod assembly 41, a transmission roller 42, and a transmission wire 43. The transmission roller 42 is connected to a side of the support pillar 22. The transmission wire 43 is connected to the table board 10, the transmission roller 42, and the drive rod assembly 41. The drive rod assembly 41 can receive muscle power and transmit the power through the transmission wire 41 and the transmission roller 42 to drive the table board 10 and the weight plate assembly 30 to move. Therefore, user can drive the table board 10 and the weight plate assembly 30 to move by stepping on and forcing the drive rod assembly 41 as weight-bearing exercises and achieve fitness during a break in working or studying.
  • Referring to FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 , in an embodiment of the present application, a through groove 11 is defined on the table board 10. An end of the support pillar 22 is connected to the bottom plate 22, other end of the support pillar 22 penetrates the through groove 11. A positioning member 23 is fixed on a side of the support pillar 22. The positioning member 23 is under the table board 10, and supports the table board 10. In other embodiments, two support pillars 22 are symmetrically arranged on the bottom plate 21. Two through grooves 11, two weight assemblies 30, and two transmission assemblies 40 are all arranged to correspond one-by-one with the support pillars 22. When there is no force applied on the drive rod assembly 41, the table board 10 naturally falls back under gravity of the bar assembly 30, and the table board 10 is supported by the positioning member 23.
  • Furthermore, the weight plate assembly 30 includes a connecting wire 31, weight plates 32, and a positioning board 33. The connecting wire 31 is connected between the weight plates 32 and the table board 10. The positioning board 33 is positioned at a bottom of the weight plates 32, and the positioning board 33 is connected to the support pillar 22. The positioning board 33 is configured to support the weight plates 32. When there is no force applied on the drive rod assembly 41, the weight plates 32 are carried by the positioning board 33, the weight plates 32 do not generate excessive tension on the table board 10, reducing long-term stress and possible deformation of the table board 10.
  • The weight plates 32 is in an annular structure, substantially in the form of a square structure, which is conducive to saving space under the table 10. The weight plates 32 are arranged in layers, and the connecting wire 31 penetrates and connects the weight plates 32 arranged in layers. The weight plates 32 are sleeved on the support pillar 22, so that the weight plates 32 can move up and down the support pillar 22, improving stability of the weight plates 32 when in motion.
  • In an embodiment of the present application, the transmission roller 42 includes a first roller 421 and a second roller 422. The first roller 421 is located above the table board 10, and the second roller 422 is located below the positioning board 33. The transmission wire 43 wraps around the first roller 421 and the second roller 422 in sequence. The first roller 421 and the second roller 422 can be rotatably connected to a same side of the support pillar 22 to prevent the transmission wire 43 from winding around the support pillar 22 and affecting movement of the weight plate assembly 30.
  • Furthermore, a first through hole 12 is defined on the table board 10. A main portion of the transmission wire 43 penetrates the first through hole 12, and two ends of the main portion of the transmission wire 43 wrap around the first roller 421 and the second roller 422 respectively. A first end 431 of the transmission wire 43 is connected to the table board 10. A second end 432 of the transmission wire 43 is connected to the drive rod assembly 41. The first roller 421 and the second roller 422 operate as fixed pulleys to assist the movement of transmission wire 43.
  • Furthermore, a second through hole 13 is defined on the table board 10, the first end 431 of the transmission wire 43 penetrates the second through hole 13. An abutting member 433 is fixed at the first end 431. The abutting member 433 is located below the table board 10 and configured to abut against the table board 10 to limit the first end 431, so that the transmission wire 43 can connect with the table board 10.
  • In an embodiment of the present application, the drive rod assembly 41 includes a frame 411, a rotating shaft 412, a transmission member 413, and a drive rod 414. The frame 411 is fixed on the bottom plate 21. The rotating shaft 412 is rotatably arranged on the frame 411. The transmission member 413 is connected to an end of the rotating shaft 412, and the transmission member 413 is connected to the second end 432 of the transmission wire 43. The drive rod 414 is connected to other end of the rotating shaft. When stepping on or pushing the drive rod 414, the drive rod 414 pulls the transmission wire 43 through the rotating shaft 412, thereby driving the table board 10 and the weight plate assembly 30 to move up and down.
  • Furthermore, the drive rod assembly 41 includes a first connecting rod 415 and a second connecting rod 416. The axes of the drive rod 414, the rotating shaft 412, and the transmission member 413 are substantially parallel. The first connecting rod 415 is arranged between the rotating shaft 412 and the drive rod 414. The second connecting rod 416 is arranged between the rotating shaft 412 and the transmission member 413. In the present disclosure, the first connecting rod 415 is vertically connected with the rotating shaft 412 and the drive rod 414. The second connecting rod 416 is vertically connected with the rotating shaft 412 and the transmission member 413. Therefore, when the drive rod 414 is pushed or stepped on, the rotating shaft 412 and the transmission member 413 rotate synchronously under action of the lever.
  • In an embodiment of the present application, an obtuse angle is formed between an axial direction of the first connecting rod 415 and an axial direction of the second connecting rod 416. A range of motion of the transmission member 413 is thus increased, extending the stroke of the weight plates 32 in a single process and improving intensity of exercise.
  • Even though information and advantages of the present embodiments have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structures and functions of the present embodiments, the disclosure is illustrative only. Changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of portions within the principles of the present embodiments to the full extent indicated by the plain meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
