Abstract
Description
- The subject matter herein relates to technical field of human wellness, especially relates to an office desk with dual functions as a desk and an exercise machine.
- People can be very busy in their work, spend much of their time at their desk, and have little time to travel and exercise. Especially for students and office workers who remain seated for a long time, free time to exercise time is reduced, which can seriously affect their physical and mental health. Space in offices and homes may be limited, and there may be no space to install fitness equipment at offices or at home, thus exercise opportunities under these conditions are rare.
- Many aspects of the disclosure can be better understood with reference to the following drawings. The components in the drawings are not necessarily drawn to scale, the emphasis instead being placed upon clearly illustrating the principles of the disclosure. Moreover, in the drawings, like reference numerals designate corresponding portions throughout the several views.

member 433. - In order to make the above-mentioned objects, features, and advantages of the present disclosure more obvious, specific embodiments of the present disclosure will be described with reference to the accompanying drawings. The present disclosure can be implemented in ways different from those described herein, and those skilled in the art can make similar improvements without violating the contents of the present disclosure. Therefore, the present disclosure is not to be considered as limiting the scope of the embodiments to those described herein.
- Several definitions that apply throughout this disclosure will now be presented.
- Unless otherwise defined, all technical and scientific terms used herein have the same meaning as commonly understood by one skilled in the art. The terms used in the present disclosure herein are only for describing specific embodiments, and are not intended to limit the present disclosure.
- Referring to
FIG. 1 , an office desk withdual functions 100 as a desk and an exercise machine is disclosed, which includes atable board 10, asupport assembly 20, aweight plate assembly 30, and atransmission assembly 40. Thetable board 10 is configured for office work or study. Thesupport assembly 20 includes abottom plate 21 and asupport pillar 22. The table 10 is movably attached on thesupport pillar 22. Theweight plate assembly 30 is suspended below thetable board 10. Thetransmission assembly 40 includes adrive rod assembly 41, atransmission roller 42, and atransmission wire 43. Thetransmission roller 42 is connected to a side of thesupport pillar 22. Thetransmission wire 43 is connected to thetable board 10, thetransmission roller 42, and thedrive rod assembly 41. Thedrive rod assembly 41 can receive muscle power and transmit the power through thetransmission wire 41 and thetransmission roller 42 to drive thetable board 10 and theweight plate assembly 30 to move. Therefore, user can drive thetable board 10 and theweight plate assembly 30 to move by stepping on and forcing thedrive rod assembly 41 as weight-bearing exercises and achieve fitness during a break in working or studying. - Referring to
FIG. 2 andFIG. 3 , in an embodiment of the present application, a throughgroove 11 is defined on thetable board 10. An end of thesupport pillar 22 is connected to thebottom plate 22, other end of thesupport pillar 22 penetrates the throughgroove 11. A positioningmember 23 is fixed on a side of thesupport pillar 22. The positioningmember 23 is under thetable board 10, and supports thetable board 10. In other embodiments, twosupport pillars 22 are symmetrically arranged on thebottom plate 21. Two throughgrooves 11, twoweight assemblies 30, and twotransmission assemblies 40 are all arranged to correspond one-by-one with thesupport pillars 22. When there is no force applied on thedrive rod assembly 41, thetable board 10 naturally falls back under gravity of thebar assembly 30, and thetable board 10 is supported by the positioningmember 23. - Furthermore, the
weight plate assembly 30 includes a connectingwire 31,weight plates 32, and apositioning board 33. The connectingwire 31 is connected between theweight plates 32 and thetable board 10. The positioningboard 33 is positioned at a bottom of theweight plates 32, and thepositioning board 33 is connected to thesupport pillar 22. The positioningboard 33 is configured to support theweight plates 32. When there is no force applied on thedrive rod assembly 41, theweight plates 32 are carried by the positioningboard 33, theweight plates 32 do not generate excessive tension on thetable board 10, reducing long-term stress and possible deformation of thetable board 10. - The
weight plates 32 is in an annular structure, substantially in the form of a square structure, which is conducive to saving space under the table 10. Theweight plates 32 are arranged in layers, and the connectingwire 31 penetrates and connects theweight plates 32 arranged in layers. Theweight plates 32 are sleeved on thesupport pillar 22, so that theweight plates 32 can move up and down thesupport pillar 22, improving stability of theweight plates 32 when in motion. - In an embodiment of the present application, the
transmission roller 42 includes afirst roller 421 and asecond roller 422. Thefirst roller 421 is located above thetable board 10, and thesecond roller 422 is located below the positioningboard 33. Thetransmission wire 43 wraps around thefirst roller 421 and thesecond roller 422 in sequence. Thefirst roller 421 and thesecond roller 422 can be rotatably connected to a same side of thesupport pillar 22 to prevent thetransmission wire 43 from winding around thesupport pillar 22 and affecting movement of theweight plate assembly 30. - Furthermore, a first through
hole 12 is defined on thetable board 10. A main portion of thetransmission wire 43 penetrates the first throughhole 12, and two ends of the main portion of thetransmission wire 43 wrap around thefirst roller 421 and thesecond roller 422 respectively. Afirst end 431 of thetransmission wire 43 is connected to thetable board 10. Asecond end 432 of thetransmission wire 43 is connected to thedrive rod assembly 41. Thefirst roller 421 and thesecond roller 422 operate as fixed pulleys to assist the movement oftransmission wire 43. - Furthermore, a second through
hole 13 is defined on thetable board 10, thefirst end 431 of thetransmission wire 43 penetrates the second throughhole 13. An abuttingmember 433 is fixed at thefirst end 431. The abuttingmember 433 is located below thetable board 10 and configured to abut against thetable board 10 to limit thefirst end 431, so that thetransmission wire 43 can connect with thetable board 10. - In an embodiment of the present application, the
drive rod assembly 41 includes aframe 411, arotating shaft 412, atransmission member 413, and adrive rod 414. Theframe 411 is fixed on thebottom plate 21. Therotating shaft 412 is rotatably arranged on theframe 411. Thetransmission member 413 is connected to an end of therotating shaft 412, and thetransmission member 413 is connected to thesecond end 432 of thetransmission wire 43. Thedrive rod 414 is connected to other end of the rotating shaft. When stepping on or pushing thedrive rod 414, thedrive rod 414 pulls thetransmission wire 43 through therotating shaft 412, thereby driving thetable board 10 and theweight plate assembly 30 to move up and down. - Furthermore, the
drive rod assembly 41 includes a first connectingrod 415 and a second connectingrod 416. The axes of thedrive rod 414, therotating shaft 412, and thetransmission member 413 are substantially parallel. The first connectingrod 415 is arranged between therotating shaft 412 and thedrive rod 414. The second connectingrod 416 is arranged between therotating shaft 412 and thetransmission member 413. In the present disclosure, the first connectingrod 415 is vertically connected with therotating shaft 412 and thedrive rod 414. The second connectingrod 416 is vertically connected with therotating shaft 412 and thetransmission member 413. Therefore, when thedrive rod 414 is pushed or stepped on, therotating shaft 412 and thetransmission member 413 rotate synchronously under action of the lever. - In an embodiment of the present application, an obtuse angle is formed between an axial direction of the first connecting
rod 415 and an axial direction of the second connectingrod 416. A range of motion of thetransmission member 413 is thus increased, extending the stroke of theweight plates 32 in a single process and improving intensity of exercise. - Even though information and advantages of the present embodiments have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structures and functions of the present embodiments, the disclosure is illustrative only. Changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of portions within the principles of the present embodiments to the full extent indicated by the plain meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
