Description
- The present application claims priority to, and the benefit of, U.S. Provisional Application No. 63/291,977, which was filed on Dec. 21, 2021, and is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
- The present invention generally relates to the field of backpacks and exercise bags. More specifically, the present invention relates to a novel weight bag that can be worn like a backpack and is used for weightlifting, cross training, fitness, and more. The weight bag is designed to store sandbags or other weighted substance for increasing weight enabling a user to wear the bag and increase intensity of the workout and exercise without using expensive and complex exercising equipment. For motivating the exercising-user, the bag has an integrated Bluetooth speaker for playing music. Accordingly, the present disclosure makes specific reference thereto. Nonetheless, it is to be appreciated that aspects of the present invention are also equally applicable to other like applications, devices, and methods of manufacture.
- By way of background, regular physical activity is one of the most important things to maintain health and a fit body. Being physically active improves brain health, helps manage weight, reduces the risk of disease, strengthens bones and muscles, and improves ability to do everyday activities. In fact, working out, weight training, and fitness have recently increased in popularity. A lot of weight devices such as dumbbells, barbells, kettlebells, and more are used by individuals for working out and exercising. Generally, to use such devices for exercising, a person is required to go to a gym or training areas such as CrossFit areas. However, due to busy schedule and lack of motivation, individuals avoid going to gyms and hence loose the continuity in their work out plans. Conventional workout devices are expensive to buy and require a lot of space for storage. Individuals may not be able to buy such expensive workout/exercise devices, and hence may not be able to exercise and workout effectively.
