Abstract
A bowl that has a beach at a beach angle to a horizontal axis and a lip at a lip angle relative to the horizontal axis. The bowl is configured to contain a substance in a concave inner portion between the beach, lip and between two sides connecting the lip and beach. The beach angle and lip angle allow for maximized scoping of the substance in the concave inner portion, but providing a low contact entry and a lip that forces the substance onto the dipping instrument.
Description
- This application claims benefit of priority to U.S. Provisional Patent Application Ser. No. 63/227,298, which was filed on Jul. 29, 2021. The entirety of which is incorporated herein by reference.
- Typical bowls fail to provide an easy way to scope food. For example, typical bowls require the use of two hands or two utensils to scope food, such as salsa, from the bowl. Furthermore, bowls only have a high impact entry that often breaks chips or makes efficient dipping impossible.
- Therefore, there is a need for a bowl that has a unique shape to allow a user to obtain food therefrom with minimal effort.
-
FIG. 1 depicts a front view of an embodiment of a bowl. -
FIG. 2 depicts a top view of the bowl ofFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 3 depicts a bottom view of the bowl ofFIG. 1 . -
FIG. 4 depicts a cut view of the bowl along line A-A ofFIGS. 2 and 3 . -
FIG. 1 depicts a front view of an embodiment of a bowl.FIG. 2 depicts a top view of the bowl ofFIG. 1 .FIG. 3 depicts a bottom view of the bowl ofFIG. 1 .FIG. 4 depicts a cut view of the bowl along line A-A ofFIGS. 2 and 3 . With reference to the Figs. the bowl can include abeach 12 that is opposite alip 20. Thebowl 10 can have toside beach 12 and thelip 20, forming a concaveinner portion 18. The concave inner portion has abottom 24. The concave inner portion can hold salsa, cheese dip, beans, ice cream, or the like. One ormore support 22 can extend from thebottom 24 for supporting thebowl 10. For example, the one, two, three, four, or more supports can end from thebottom 24 to support thebowl 10. The supports can have non-skid surface, which can be made from polymer or any other high coefficient friction material. The non-skid surface can keep thebowl 10 from sliding on a tabletop or other surface. - With reference to
FIG. 4 , thebeach 14 can be at abeach angle 34 of from 20 to 80 degrees relative to thehorizontal axis 30. Thehorizontal axis 30 is perpendicular to thevertical axis 32. Thelip 20 can be atlip angle 34 of from 0 to 89 degrees relative to thehorizontal axis 30. The beach angle allows for low impact entry of a dipping instrument, such as a chip, and prevents the chip from breaking as the contents in theinner cavity 18 are scoped. The lip angle works in conjunction with the beach angle to allow for the contents to fold over the dipping instrument to ensure deposit of the content of the inner cavity onto the dipping instrument and minimize spillage or the need for the use of a second item, such as another chip, hand, or spoon, to guide the contents onto the dipping instrument. - An embodiment of the tableware can include a lid and ultraviolet light emitting diode. The tableware can be similar to tableware disclosed herein but can have a retractable lid with one or more Ultraviolet light emitting diodes. One or more of the
legs 16 can be configured to receive a power supply, such as a battery, and can have electronic circuits for communicating power from the battery to the Ultraviolet light emitting diodes, the electronic circuits would be known to one skilled in the art with the aid of this disclosure. The Ultraviolet light emitting diodes can be configured to emit Far-UVC light. - In one or more embodiments, a lid can be configured to fit the shape of the bowl, the lid can snap onto the bowl forming a seal between a top portion of the bowl and a portion of the lid.
- It will be appreciated that the various dependent claims and the features set forth therein can be combined in different ways than presented in the initial claims. It will also be appreciated that the features described in connection with individual embodiments may be shared with others of the described embodiments.
Claims (5)
1. A tableware as shown and described.
2. A bowl comprising:
