Abstract
Description
- This application is based upon and claims priority to Chinese Patent Application No. 202121649150.7, filed on Jul. 20, 2021, the entire content of which is incorporated herein by reference.
- The present disclosure relates to the field of sanitary ware, in particular to a shower system with flexible connection tube.
- A shower system for use in a bathroom generally includes an overhead shower connected to an upper end of a discharge tube and a hand shower connected to a lower end of the discharge tube. The overhead shower is fixed and the spray pattern falls downward over a user's head. While, the hand shower can be held by the user and is movable, which is convenient to use.
- In a conventional shower system, a three-way valve is configured to connect the water supply tube, the overhead shower, and the hand shower. The water outlet port of the three-way valve is connected to the hand shower through a hose, and the hand shower may be hung on the wall by a holder attached on the wall. In this configuration, the position of the hand shower hung on the wall cannot be adjusted as desired, which is not user friendly.
- The present disclosure provides a shower system with flexible connection tube, which can effectively solve the above-mentioned problems.
- The technical solution of the present disclosure is described below.
- A shower system with flexible connection tube, includes:
- a valve, a connection tube, a hand shower, and a holder; wherein the connection tube includes a first connection tube, a second connection tube, and a third connection tube that are connected in sequence; the first connection tube is connected to the valve, the third connection tube is connected to the hand shower, the second connection tube is inserted into the holder, and holder is attached on a wall to hang the second connection tube on the wall.
- As a further improvement, the first connection tube is a flexible pipe.
- As a further improvement, the second connection tube is a rigid pipe.
- As a further improvement, the third connection tube is a flexible pipe.
- As a further improvement, the valve includes a water inlet port, a first water outlet port, and a second water outlet port; wherein, the first water outlet port is connected to the first connection tube, and the second water outlet port is connected to the overhead shower.
- As a further improvement, the valve is internally provided with a partition, an edge of the partition is provided with a first water passing hole, an inner part of the partition is provided with a second water passing hole and a third water passing hole, the first water passing hole is connected to the water inlet port, the second water passing hole is connected to the first water outlet port, and the third water passing hole is connected to the second water outlet port.
- As a further improvement, an end of the valve is provided with a rotary element, and an end of the rotary element is provided with a rubber element, rotating the rotary element to make the rubber element block the second water passing hole or the third water passing hole.
- As a further improvement, a suction cup is provided on a back surface of the holder to attach the holder on the wall.
- As a further improvement, a fastener is connected to the second connection tube.
- The present disclosure has the following advantages.
- First, according to the present disclosure, the shower system with flexible shower connection tube includes a valve, a connection tube, a hand shower, a holder, and an overhead shower. The valve is a three-way valve, a rear end of the valve is provided with a water inlet port, a lower end of the valve is provided with a first water outlet port, an upper end of the valve is provided with a second water outlet port, and a front end of the valve is provided with a rotary element. The connection tube is connected to the first water outlet port to supply for the hand shower. The connection tube includes a first connection tube, a second connection tube, and a third connection tube that are connected in sequence. In some embodiments, both the first connection tube and the second connection tube are flexible pipes, and the second connection tube is a rigid pipe. The flexible first connection tube facilitates a connection with the valve. The flexible third connection tube is convenient for the user to hold and move the hand shower as desired. The rigid second connection tube is convenient for adjusting the fixed position of the connection tube. The user may adjust the fixed position of the second connection tube as desired, so as to adjust the position of the hand shower. The present disclosure has a simple structure and is well designed, and is convenient to adjust the height of the hand shower through the connection tube.
- Second, the back surface of the holder in the present disclosure is configured as a suction cup structure which is attached on the wall of the bathroom through negative pressure. Such configuration is convenient to use, facilitates fast installation and free adjustment of the connection tube, and has a wide range of applications.
- Third, in the present disclosure, the rotary element of the valve is provided with a rubber element, and the rubber element is used to block the second water passing hole or the third water passing hole. The second water passing hole or the third water passing hole may be blocked by rotating the rotary element, thereby switching the water passing holes inside the valve. Such configuration is simple, practical, and convenient.
- In order to clearly explain the embodiments of the present disclosure, the drawings that would be used in describing the embodiments will briefly introduced below. It should be understood that the drawings illustrated below merely includes some of the embodiments of the present disclosure and should not be considered as limiting the scope of the present disclosure. For those of ordinary skill in the art, other drawings may be derived based on these drawings without creative effort.

- In order to make the objectives, technical solutions, and advantages of the embodiments of the present disclosure clearer, the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present disclosure will be described clearly and completely below with reference to the drawings of the embodiments of the present disclosure. Obviously, the described embodiments are parts of, but not all of, the embodiments of the present disclosure. Based on the embodiments of the present disclosure, all other embodiments derived by those of ordinary skills in the art without creative effort fall within the scope of protection of the present disclosure. Accordingly, the following detailed description of the embodiments of the present disclosure shown in the drawings is not intended to limit the scope of protection of the present disclosure, but merely to represent selected embodiments of the present disclosure.
- In the description of the present disclosure, the terms “first”, “second” are used only for descriptive purposes and cannot be understood as indicating or implying relative importance or implying the number of indicated technical features. Thus, a characteristic that is referred to by “first” and “second” may include, expressly or implicitly, one or more of the characteristics. Also, it should be noted that the terms of “up”, “down”, “inside/inner”, “outside/outer”, “front end”, “rear end”, “two ends”, “one end”, “another end”, “one side”, “another side” for indicating the location or orientation are based on the location or orientation shown in the drawings for the sake of simplifying the description of the present disclosure, rather than indicate or imply that the indicated device or component must have specific location or orientation, or be constructed and operated by specific orientation. These terms should not be understood as limits to the present disclosure.
- As shown in
FIG. 1 andFIG. 2 , an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a shower system with flexible connection tube, including: avalve 1, aconnection tube 2, ahand shower 3, aholder 4, anoverhead shower 5, and afastener 6. In the present embodiment, thevalve 1 is a three-way valve. A rear end of thevalve 1 is provided with awater inlet port 11, a lower end of thevalve 1 is provided with a firstwater outlet port 12, an upper end of thevalve 1 is provided with a secondwater outlet port 13, and a front end of thevalve 1 is provided with arotary element 15. The firstwater outlet port 12 is connected to thehand shower 3 through theconnection tube 2. The secondwater outlet port 13 is connected to theoverhead shower 5. In the use, the water passage inside thevalve 1 is switched by rotating therotary element 15, so as to switch between the water passages of thehand shower 3 and theoverhead shower 5. In the present embodiment, the connection tube of the shower system includes three sections instead of one single flexible pipe connecting thehand shower 3 and thevalve 1 in the traditional shower system. The present disclosure may solve the problem that one single flexible pipe hung on the wall by a fixed holder is unable to adjust the height of the hand shower as desired. - Specifically, the
connection tube 2 in the present embodiment includes afirst connection tube 21, asecond connection tube 22, and athird connection tube 23 that are connected in sequence. Thefirst connection tube 21 is connected to the firstwater outlet port 12 at the lower end of thevalve 1, thethird connection tube 23 is connected to thehand shower 3, and thesecond connection tube 22 is inserted into theholder 4 to be hung on the wall. - Further, preferably, in the present embodiment, the
first connection tube 21 is a flexible pipe, thesecond connection tube 22 is a rigid pipe, and thethird connection tube 23 is a flexible pipe. Thefirst connection tube 21 is connected to the firstwater outlet port 12 at the lower end of thevalve 1, and the firstwater outlet port 12 supplies water for thehand shower 3. The flexiblefirst connection tube 21 is convenient for connecting with thevalve 1 without the need to adjust the angle of thevalve 1, thereby facilitating an easy connection. Thesecond connection tube 22 is a rigid pipe which is hung on the wall by theholder 4. Thethird connection tube 23 is also a flexible pipe, so the user may hold thehand shower 3 in hand and move thehand shower 3 freely. - Further, in the present embodiment, a back surface of the
holder 4 is provided with a suction cup to attach theholder 4 on the wall by negative pressure. The front side of theholder 4 is provided with a clamping opening, and thesecond connection tube 22 is inserted into the clamping opening. The user may freely adjust the position of theholder 4 on the wall, regardless the position is located in an upper or lower, left or right side. The suction cup facilitates the removal and installation of the holder, and may allows the user to freely adjust the position, thereby enhancing the use experience. In other embodiments, the connectingtube 2 as a whole may be a flexible pipe. When in use, the handle of thehand shower 3 is inserted into the clamping opening at the front side of theholder 4 with a suction cup at its back surface. Such configuration may also allow the user to freely move thehand shower 3 and improve the use experience. - Further, as shown in
FIG. 3 andFIG. 4 , thevalve 1 in the present embodiment is internally provided with apartition 14, and an edge of thepartition 14 is provided with a firstwater passing hole 141. An inner part of thepartition 14 is further provided with a secondwater passing hole 142 and a thirdwater passing hole 143, respectively. The firstwater passing hole 141 is connected to thewater inlet port 11. The secondwater passing hole 142 is connected to the firstwater outlet port 12. The thirdwater passing hole 143 is connected to the secondwater outlet port 13. An end of thevalve 1 is provided with arotary element 15 and arubber element 151 is provided on an inner end of therotary element 15. Therotary element 15 may be rotated to block the secondwater passing hole 142 or the thirdwater passing hole 143. Therubber element 151 in the present embodiment may completely block the secondwater passing hole 142 and the thirdwater passing hole 143 without water leakage.FIG. 5 andFIG. 6 show the switch-on and switch-off states of theoverhead shower 5, when therubber element 151 blocks the thirdwater passing hole 143, the thirdwater passing hole 143 cannot pass water.FIG. 7 andFIG. 8 show the switch-on and switch-off states of thehand shower 3, when therubber element 151 blocks the secondwater passing hole 142, the secondwater passing hole 142 cannot pass water. - Specifically, a
handle 153 is provided on the outer side of the end surface of therotary element 15, which is convenient for hand grip during use. Therotary element 15 is further provided with a limitinggroove 152, and engagingprotrusions 144 are provided on thepartition 14. In the use, the engagingprotrusions 144 are inserted into thelimit grooves 152, and at this time, one end of thelimit groove 152 is fitted with the engagingprotrusions 144. When therotary element 15 is rotated, the other end of thelimit groove 152 is fitted with the engagingprotrusions 144, and therubber element 151 reciprocally moves between the secondwater passing hole 142 and the thirdwater passing hole 143 to achieve the effect of switching water passages. - Further, in the present embodiment, a
fastener 6 is connected to thesecond connection tube 22, and thehand shower 3 can be inserted into thefastener 6 after use. In the present embodiment, the position of thefastener 6 may also be adjusted, so as to facilitate the height adjustment of thehand shower 3. - The above descriptions merely cover the preferred embodiments of the present disclosure which should not be considered as limit to the present disclosure. For those of ordinary skill in the art, the present disclosure may have various modifications and changes.
