Abstract

A combined all brush all comb tool that can be used interchangeably. Said embodiment having a containment chamber located at the top that can be used to dispense liquid solutions such as shampoos, liquid relaxers and other hair treatment solutions for both male and female hair care treatment.

Description

FIELD OF INVENTION

the present invention is a hair care tool more specifically a combined smart brush/smart comb that can hold hair liquid solutions.

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

the concept of comb for hair care can be traced to as far back as 5,000 years ago. In fact, primitive versions of the comb have been found throughout history by archaeologists. As early as 5500 B.C. the ancient Egyptians carved out combs among other remnants of the emerging cultures. In ancient China, combs were worn as hair accessories that reflected one's social status. Over time, combs have evolved into more efficient tools for hair maintenance and hair care. Today, there are hundreds of different combs depending on your hair length, texture and type. Combs serve different functions for different hair types and styles. Typically, combs are used to tame stray hairs and detangle wet hair. Another common use for the comb is to secure hair in one position before placing it in a ponytail. Combs may also be used to part hair for coloring, conditioning and braiding. Combs can also be worn as decorative accessories that hold hair in a specific style. During the 1930s and 1940s, when sophisticated up dos were the fashion, the decorative hair comb emerged as the accessory of choice. Combs as tools is not new to the society it is a tool consisting of a shaft that holds a row of teeth for pulling through the hair to clean, untangle or style. It can be made out of a number of materials, most commonly plastic, metal, or wood. Combs made from ivory and tortoise shell were once common but concerns for the animals that produce them have reduced their usage. When made from wood, combs are largely made of boxwood, cherry wood, or other fine-grained wood. Combs come in various shapes and sizes depending on what they are used for. A hairdressing comb may have a thin, tapered handle for parting hair and close teeth. Common hair combs usually have wider teeth halfway and finer teeth for the rest of the comb. Hot combs were used solely for straightening hair during the colonial era in North America.
As long as people have had hair, they have needed some way to tame tangles, remove pests and, most importantly, show off their personal style. Hair brushes have been around for thousands of years, but they've changed dramatically from simple bone or shell picks to modern, ergonomic styling tools. A hair brush is a handle brush with rigid or soft spokes used in hair care for smoothing, styling, and detangling human hair, or for grooming an animal's fur. It can also be used for styling in combination with a curling iron or hair dryer. Evidence such as portraits, paintings and sculptures show that Ancient Romans, Greeks, and Egyptians not only styled, but carefully curled, designed and braided their hair, proving that they must have used some form of hair brush. Early brushes used natural materials such as animal wood, copper or bronze. Paint brushes are believed to have been used as long as 2.5 million years ago and were later adapted to be used on hair. Excavations from Egyptian tombs have unearthed combs, brushes and mirrors. Documents from the Vikings have shown that men cared for their hair by using combs or brushes.
Hair care experts recommend brushing your hair and combing your hair simultaneously it is important to use a different approach when brushing wet hair versus dry hair to help distribute your scalp's natural oils through your hair. A hairbrush comes in both manual and electric models, It is larger than a comb, and is also commonly used for shaping, styling, and cleaning hair. A brush is normally used for detangling hair, for example after sleep or showering to avoid unnecessary breakage. Brushes are also better than combs when you want to achieve a wide range of hairstyles.
the present invention is very similar to already existing combs and brushes, but with a unique configuration. The smart brush/smart comb can be used interchangeably and can hold liquid solutions such as shampoos, conditioners, and other liquid hair solutions and hair care products. Unlike other products, the present invention gives the option of a 2 in 1 tool that comprises of a comb and a brush for different purposes and liquid hair products such as shampoo, liquid relaxers, conditioners and other liquid treatments for hair. The present invention is made out of plastic and it is also water resistant.

DESCRIPTIONS OF PRIOR ARTS

US20080210251A1 a liquid dispensing comb and brush includes a handle portion and a head portion. The handle portion includes a container and a compressible chamber. The container may be formed from or consists of a collapsible substrate such as a bag and/or bladder, and is operative to store a liquid. The compressible chamber is operative to receive the liquid from the collapsible substrate for delivery to a plurality of nozzles. The head portion includes the plurality of teeth aligned in a row, a plurality of nozzles located, for example, between the teeth and a common delivery channel. The common delivery channel may be operably coupled to the compressible chamber and the plurality of nozzles.
U.S. Pat. No. 2,929,085A a combination applicator hairbrush comprising a body element having a depression therein; a pair of frame elements secured to opposite sides of the body element at said depression, thereby forming a reservoir; a pair of brush which extend over said reservoir.
US20050183736A1 Multi-functional hair-dyeing comb structure is disclosed. The comb structure has a housing having a detachable combing teeth seat with a liquid sack. The liquid sac contains dye for dyeing hairs, which is discharged by an electron's motor and are evenly discharged.
U.S. Pat. No. 4,605,026A a comb for dispensing treatment solution to hair is disclosed. According to the teachings of the present invention as including an elongated frame member. Groups of a plurality of teeth extend generally perpendicular to the frame member and are generally spaced from each other creating gaps there between. In the preferred embodiments of the present invention, trough shaped members are formed in the frame member in the gaps for separating and capturing strands of hair desired to be treated, for receiving and forming pools of hair treatment solution, and for allowing hair to be pulled through the pools of hair treatment solution. In one of the preferred embodiments of the present invention, the comb further includes a tooth formed in each of the gaps which includes a trough continuation member for enhancing the function of the troughs formed in the frame member. The comb further includes a spiked member attached to the first end of the frame member for picking handle portion which extends at an angle from the second end of the frame member to be in an angular relation to the teeth of the comb. In its most preferred form, the comb further includes a fluid conduit formed interiorly of the frame member including passageways in fluid communication with the troughs and wherein the handle portion includes a squeeze type bottle in fluid communication with the fluid conduit.

No. 3,520,311A a comb having a hollow back closed at one end and open at the other, including a track within the hollow back said back further including a plurality of teeth depending therefrom, a substantial number of mutually adjacent teeth of said plurality being substantially U-shaped and containing an elongated opening through the faces thereof, said opening extending longitudinally from the intersection of said number of teeth and the hollow back substantially over the length of the teeth and terminating short of their free ends.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTIONS

IN FIG. 1 , the invention discloses a perspective view of smart brush/smart comb which comprises of the handle (1), the lid cover for liquid compartment (2), through which liquid hair products such as shampoo, conditioners and liquid relaxers can be poured in. The liquid compartment chamber (5) that serves as storage for liquid hair products such as shampoo, conditioners and liquid relaxers, the holes (3), through which the liquid comes out during usage, and the bristles/tine (4).
IN FIG. 2 , the invention discloses a partial front view of the comb which further reveals the handle (1), the lid cover for liquid compartment (2), the liquid compartment (5), which serves as housing for liquid hair products such as shampoo, conditioners or liquid relaxers and the holes (3), which are located at the tip of the tine of the comb and also within it that allows free flow of liquid hair product to hair during use.
IN FIG. 3 , the invention discloses a front view of the brush which can be interchangeably used with the comb. The brush further reveals the handle (1), lid cover for liquid compartment (2), the holes (3), and the bristles (4).

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

The following summary discloses all the features and functions of the present Invention, by considering the whole specifications, claims, drawings and abstract, one can easily get a full understanding of the invention and it functions.
the present invention is a smart brush/smart comb that can be used interchangeably and can hold hair liquid solutions such as shampoos, liquid relaxers and other hair treatment solutions or liquid for both male and female hair care of it can be used interchangeably to solve various and multiple hair care problems, such as dying, relaxing of hair texture, conditioning of hair, hair straightening, styling and also usual combing and care. It is also used to tame stray hairs and detangle wet hair. Combs can be used to part hair for coloring, conditioning, braiding, remove pests, and for grooming an animal's fur Hair etc. Care experts recommend brushing your hair and combing your hair simultaneously. It is important to use a different approach when brushing wet hair versus dry hair to help distribute your scalp's natural oil through your hair. Brushes are also better than combs when you want to achieve a wide range of hairstyles. The invention solves the problem of prior invention by providing the option of a 2 in 1 tool that comprises of a comb and a brush for different purposes and different hairstyles options and also come with a containment chamber to contain liquid hair products such as shampoo, liquid relaxers, conditioners and other liquid treatments for hair. The present invention is made out of plastic and it is also water resistant. The bristles/tine are made from durable scalp tolerant plastics that does not bruise the scalps and provide proper and adequate results during usage. The containment chamber is also located at the top of the smart comb/smart brush therefore providing easy usage as it is not necessary to squeeze the handle to dispense liquid, this makes it more convenient to use and prevents liquid from getting stuck in the handle.

Claims

1. A combined smart comb/smart brush with liquid containment chamber comprising of;

i. a handle portion (1);

ii. a container(5) within the body portion of the brush to store liquid and thereby isolate the liquid from the handle portion;

iii. a container(5) within the body portion of the comb to store liquid and thereby isolate the liquid from the handle portion;

iv. a plurality of holes(3) located between said plurality of bristles(4) on the base of the containment body, wherein when used, said liquid flows from the container into said plurality of holes onto hair;

v. a plurality of holes(3) located at the tip of said tine(4) and also within the sides of same, wherein said plurality of holes allow said liquid flow from the container into said plurality of holes onto hair;

vi. a lid cover (2), for the containment chamber to secure liquid within said containment chamber.

2. The combined smart comb/smart brush with liquid containment chamber of claim (1) wherein the comb forms a one piece body.

3. The combined smart comb/smart brush with liquid containment chamber of claim (1) wherein the brush forms a one piece body.

4. The combined smart comb/smart brush with liquid containment chamber of claim 1) wherein the plurality of holes uniformly dispenses the liquid.

5. The combined smart comb/smart brush with liquid containment chamber of claim (1) in combination with an elongated frame member having a handle end and a body end; groups of a plurality of tine/bristles extending generally perpendicular and circularly to the axis of the comb/brush body member, with the tine and bristle having a length, a width, and a height, with the groups of tine/bristles being spaced from each creating gaps there between; a handle portion extending from the first end of the frame member; means formed in the gaps between the groups of teeth for separating and capturing strands of hair desired to be treated and for allowing hair to be pulled through the pools of hair treatment solution formed in the containment body member; and means for introducing treatment solution for application to the hair.

6. The combined smart comb/smart brush with liquid containment chamber of claim (1) wherein the holes are positioned in pair.

7. The combined all comb/all brush with liquid containment chamber of claim 1), wherein the bristles/tine are made from durable scalp tolerant plastics that does not bruise the scalps and provide proper and adequate results during usage.
