Definitions
- the present invention relates generally to the field of tissues. More specifically, the present invention relates to an infused tissue device that is comprised of a tissue box and a plurality of tissues within the box.
- the tissues are infused with aromatherapeutic scents to promote feelings of wellness, to alleviate anxiety, and/or to promote wellness in the immune system. Accordingly, the present disclosure makes specific reference thereto. Nonetheless, it is to be appreciated that aspects of the present invention are also equally applicable to other like applications, devices and methods of manufacture.
- Lavender oil inhibits the activity of these receptors, thus mimicking the same mechanism of action behind many anti-anxiety medications. Additionally, there lies substantial evidence in the field of aromatherapy that essential oils derived from herbal plants and citrus fruits can suppress allergic and inflammatory responses, which are both common reasons why an individual may be inclined to use a tissue to blow his or her nose. Additionally, lavender and peppermint oil have both been shown to act as natural antihistamines, which is the main ingredient in many allergy medications. Lemon oil has also been demonstrated to have mucolytic properties, helping to loosen mucus in airways and in sinuses. Thus, many aromatherapeutic scents and oils contain properties that often coincide with the reason behind why an individual needs a tissue. In addition, many individuals simply enjoy the smell of essential oils and similar fragrances, which they may use to relax or improve their emotional state.
- an improved infused tissue device that is infused with aromatherapeutic properties that may mitigate the emotional and/or physiological symptoms which the user is currently experiencing.
- an improved tissue device that may utilize aromatherapeutic properties to alleviate feelings of anxiety or stress or to alleviate symptoms of allergies and/or illness.
- an improved infused tissue device that promotes psychological and physical healing during emotional processing or physical illness and that may be employed in settings where either of these experiences may be common.
- the subject matter disclosed and claimed herein in one embodiment thereof, comprises an infused tissue device.
- the device is comprised of a tissue box with a generally rectangular body, and a plurality of tissues.
- the body of the device further preferably resembles a conventional body of a tissue box, such that the only major distinguishing factor is that of the aromatherapeutic properties of the infused tissue device.
- the tissues themselves are further stored within the box in a folded manner, such that the next tissue replaces the one previously just removed.
- the tissues are also infused with various compounds containing aromatherapeutic properties, such as but not limited to, lavender, sage, peppermint, etc.
- the infused tissue device of the present invention accomplishes all of the forgoing objectives and provides an improved means to utilize aromatherapeutic compounds and tissues concurrently.
- the aromatherapeutic properties of the device means that a user need not carry with them any additional aromatherapeutic tool. A user can conveniently and reliably use both at once at any given point.
- the device can thus be utilized in settings such as hospitals and therapists' offices, where either psychological and emotional stress or illness may be common.
- the subject matter disclosed and claimed herein in one embodiment thereof, comprises an infused tissue device.
- the device is primarily comprised of a tissue box with a generally rectangular body, that has a plurality of aromatherapy compound-infused tissues contained within the box.
- the body may have the appearance of a plurality of different designs on the box, indicating the present aromatherapeutic infused within the tissue.
- the box is preferably made of a recycled cardboard material, or any such material that permits the box to be disposable and lie flat against a surface.
- any surface of the box may be comprised of a plurality of indicia, such as patterns, logos, emblems, images, symbols, designs, letters, words, characters, animals, advertisements, brands, etc., that may or may not be aromatherapy or tissue-related.
- the tissues themselves are preferably made of a thin, pliable and absorbent paper, made from wood or recycled paper, that is capable of holding within it an aromatherapeutic scent for an extended period of time.
- the infused tissue device of the present invention is particularly advantageous as the tissues possess aromatherapeutic properties that may respond to the unique ailment for which the user is using a tissue, such as allergies or being upset.
- the infused tissue device may further promote psychological or emotional wellness for a user using a tissue for an emotionally or psychologically troubling reason via the aromatherapeutic scents that are known to reduce anxiety and induce feelings of calmness.
- the infused tissue device may promote the physical wellness of a user using a tissue for an illness or a cold, by containing within it aromatherapeutic scents that are known to act as antihistamines, mucolytics, etc., among other healing properties.
- the infused tissue device overcomes the limitations of existing tissues known in the art. More specifically, the infused tissue device provides a plurality of aromatherapeutic scents that mitigate feelings of anxiety or stress. Further, the scents alleviate symptoms of allergies and/or illness.
- FIG. 1 illustrates a perspective view of one potential embodiment of the infused tissue device of the present invention in accordance with the disclosed architecture
- FIG. 2 illustrates a graphical view of a plurality of compounds that the infused tissue device can be infused with in accordance with the disclosed architecture.

Description
- The present application claims priority to, and the benefit of, U.S. Provisional Application No. 63/212,842, which was filed on Jun. 21, 2021 and is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
- The present invention relates generally to the field of tissues. More specifically, the present invention relates to an infused tissue device that is comprised of a tissue box and a plurality of tissues within the box. The tissues are infused with aromatherapeutic scents to promote feelings of wellness, to alleviate anxiety, and/or to promote wellness in the immune system. Accordingly, the present disclosure makes specific reference thereto. Nonetheless, it is to be appreciated that aspects of the present invention are also equally applicable to other like applications, devices and methods of manufacture.
- The need to use a tissue can result from a variety of reasons ranging from an emotional instability to allergies. However, tissue usage is often a quick fix to an underlying problem that is not addressed in the process of tissue usage. In recent years, aromatherapy has increased in popularity and has been used as a mood stabilizer, relaxant and antihistamine. Essential oil diffusion has become a common practice in emergency rooms, nursing homes and preschools to curb anxiety and induce feelings of relaxation. Furthermore, the molecular properties of these aromatherapeutic oils and herbs aid in identifying new uses in society. For example, lavender oil specifically contains two primary compounds called terpenoids, which are known to interact with serotonin receptors targeted for anxiety medication. Lavender oil inhibits the activity of these receptors, thus mimicking the same mechanism of action behind many anti-anxiety medications.
- Therefore, there exists a long-felt need in the art for an improved infused tissue device. There also exists a long-felt need in the art for an infused tissue device that is infused with aromatherapeutic properties that may mitigate the emotional and/or physiological symptoms which the user is currently experiencing. Further, there exists a long-felt need in the art for an improved tissue device that may utilize aromatherapeutic properties to alleviate feelings of anxiety or stress or to alleviate symptoms of allergies and/or illness. In addition, there exists a long-felt need in the art for an improved infused tissue device that promotes psychological and physical healing during emotional processing or physical illness and that may be employed in settings where either of these experiences may be common.
- The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment thereof, comprises an infused tissue device. The device is comprised of a tissue box with a generally rectangular body, and a plurality of tissues. The body of the device further preferably resembles a conventional body of a tissue box, such that the only major distinguishing factor is that of the aromatherapeutic properties of the infused tissue device. The tissues themselves are further stored within the box in a folded manner, such that the next tissue replaces the one previously just removed. The tissues are also infused with various compounds containing aromatherapeutic properties, such as but not limited to, lavender, sage, peppermint, etc.
- In this manner, the infused tissue device of the present invention accomplishes all of the forgoing objectives and provides an improved means to utilize aromatherapeutic compounds and tissues concurrently. Further, the aromatherapeutic properties of the device means that a user need not carry with them any additional aromatherapeutic tool. A user can conveniently and reliably use both at once at any given point. In addition, the device can thus be utilized in settings such as hospitals and therapists' offices, where either psychological and emotional stress or illness may be common.
- The following presents a simplified summary in order to provide a basic understanding of some aspects of the disclosed innovation. This summary is not an extensive overview, and it is not intended to identify key/critical elements or to delineate the scope thereof. Its sole purpose is to present some general concepts in a simplified form as a prelude to the more detailed description that is presented later.
- The subject matter disclosed and claimed herein, in one embodiment thereof, comprises an infused tissue device. The device is primarily comprised of a tissue box with a generally rectangular body, that has a plurality of aromatherapy compound-infused tissues contained within the box. In differing embodiments, the body may have the appearance of a plurality of different designs on the box, indicating the present aromatherapeutic infused within the tissue. The box is preferably made of a recycled cardboard material, or any such material that permits the box to be disposable and lie flat against a surface. In addition, any surface of the box may be comprised of a plurality of indicia, such as patterns, logos, emblems, images, symbols, designs, letters, words, characters, animals, advertisements, brands, etc., that may or may not be aromatherapy or tissue-related. The tissues themselves are preferably made of a thin, pliable and absorbent paper, made from wood or recycled paper, that is capable of holding within it an aromatherapeutic scent for an extended period of time.
- Accordingly, the infused tissue device of the present invention is particularly advantageous as the tissues possess aromatherapeutic properties that may respond to the unique ailment for which the user is using a tissue, such as allergies or being upset. The infused tissue device may further promote psychological or emotional wellness for a user using a tissue for an emotionally or psychologically troubling reason via the aromatherapeutic scents that are known to reduce anxiety and induce feelings of calmness. Further, the infused tissue device may promote the physical wellness of a user using a tissue for an illness or a cold, by containing within it aromatherapeutic scents that are known to act as antihistamines, mucolytics, etc., among other healing properties. In this manner, the infused tissue device overcomes the limitations of existing tissues known in the art. More specifically, the infused tissue device provides a plurality of aromatherapeutic scents that mitigate feelings of anxiety or stress. Further, the scents alleviate symptoms of allergies and/or illness.
