Description
- The subject matter described herein relates generally to the field of laundry baskets. In particular, the subject matter described herein relates to a laundry basket that can be extendable and attachable.
- Laundry baskets are well-known as laundry accessories, particularly for holding and transferring soiled laundry goods or goods clothes that have already been washed. A standard washing basket is rectangular in shape, with a continuous side wall, two extended walls, and two shorter end walls. A bottom panel is attached to the continuous side wall, and the basket has an open top and a basket interior.
- Regular laundry baskets only hold a certain amount of clothes once it reaches a certain capacity, but do not allow you to make extra space. Regular laundry baskets are placed near a washer or dryer but do not attach on to machines creating an easy load and unload. The problem with regular laundry baskets is that it limits the amounts of materials that can be added into the basket forcing the users to either overflow the basket or empty to wash. The other problem with regular laundry baskets is there is no way to easily and quickly load and unload materials into washer or dry without them falling onto the ground. With the inclining laundry basket, it creates a firm lock onto a washer or dryer bringing the basket closer to the machine to load or unload. Presently, there is no solution for creating more space for overloaded clothes and no solution to creating an easy load and unload into the machine.
- These and many other problems have been long identified. Different solutions to the problems have been tried. However, there exists no comprehensive solution to all the above problems. Therefore, the object of the invention overcomes above and other drawbacks from the prior art. To achieve above and other objects, the present invention provides a novel inclining extendable attachable laundry basket that can be extended to provide more space for additional laundry.
- Embodiments of the invention solve the above-mentioned problems by providing a unique extendable and attachable laundry basket. Particularly, with the inclining laundry basket, the users will no longer have to worry about the overflow of dirty laundry. The laundry basket has at least two levels of storage, wherein each level of storage is built in way that it can be fitted into the lower level basket. The laundry basket further includes a handle lock system that locks each receptacle into place. With the extendable system the users will be in control of increasing and decreasing the capacity of material that can be placed in the basket. The laundry basket can be extended by lifting up each level by using the handles provided on each side pf the basket and the additional levels slides upward in height to increase and downward to decrease the amount of space inside the basket. On the top edge and width of the rear of the basket there are two magnets that attaches to any normal metal washing/drying machine. This allows the users to load and unload the laundry into/from the machine having laundry not falling on the ground. At the bottom rear of each side there are wheels used to easily transport the laundry basket.
