Definitions
- the present invention relates to the field of athletic and performance garments. More specifically a pair of performance gloves specifically designed to focus on precision and form when a user is working out and/or training.
- Proper form provides a more efficient work-out, thus utilizing energy pushing the limits of the body in a safe way, instead of wasted-energy movements. Improper form may result in targeting unintended muscles or muscle groups. Another benefit of improving and focusing on form is, it helps take full-breaths and supports better oxygen intake leading to consistent performance.
- the present invention aims to provide a solution that aids and supports in the improvement of form when performing physical exercises and related activities.
- the present invention is best utilized when training, exercising or working on the core muscles of the human body. Abdominal exercises require particular control and balance while coordinating movement with the rest of the limbs.
- the first glove, the second glove and the focus strap provide assistance and adjustments needed when performing abdominal or core related exercises. Therefore, the present invention best provides assistance for core-related physical exercises.
- Some industry standard common abdominal physical exercises are sit-ups, crunches, bicycle kicks, V-ups, butterfly sit-ups, jackknives, hollow body rocks, Russian twists, vertical leg crunches, and side crunches.
- Most of these abdominal physical exercises requires a user to maintain hand and arm placement in a particular position while performing the physical exercises. For instance, a user typically lies down on their back and bends the legs and places feet firmly on the ground to stabilize their lower body. Afterwards, a user would cross their hands to opposite shoulders or place them behind their ears, without pulling on their neck. Lastly, a user would curl their upper body up toward their knees. The breathing for these physical exercises are typically exhaling as the upper body curls lift and inhaling as the upper body lowers down and returns to the starting position. Typically, when a user is placing their hands behind their ears or any other similar form, the neck is over-strained.
- the present invention assists a user's hands and arms into a comfortable and proper position that is sustained while performing the physical exercises.
- the focus strap provides the resistance and support necessary to maintain proper form as the first glove and the second glove help keeping arms and hands parallel and aligned.
- the present invention supports the weight of the user's head, as the focus strap conforms to the area it is placed on. Thus, eliminating tension and pulling on the neck.
- For a cross-chest position of the arms it assists hands and arms into a position where a user is relieved of the energy exerted trying to maintain either form.
- the present invention is a pair of exercise gloves with integrated form band.
- the pair of exercise gloves with integrated form band comprises a first glove, a second glove, and a form strap.
- the first glove comprises a first main body, a plurality of first fingers, and a first wrist cuff.
- the second glove comprises a second main body, a plurality of second fingers, a second wrist cuff.

Description
- The present invention relates to the field of athletic and performance garments. More specifically a pair of performance gloves specifically designed to focus on precision and form when a user is working out and/or training.
- Typically, when performing physical exercises, training, or working out, quality is more important than quantity. Form and quality performance may be the deciding factor between obtaining desired results or not. Sufficient time must be invented into learning proper form and technique. Even more experienced users may benefit from correction or adjustment to their form.
- Improving form boosts performance, conserves energy, and reduce injuries over time. Poor form places unnecessary strain on muscles, tendons, and ligaments leading to injuries. Proper training and work-out body mechanics reduce overcompensation and the likelihood of injury.
- Thus, the present invention aims to provide a solution that aids and supports in the improvement of form when performing physical exercises and related activities. The present invention is best utilized when training, exercising or working on the core muscles of the human body. Abdominal exercises require particular control and balance while coordinating movement with the rest of the limbs.
- Furthermore, muscle areas such as the neck and surrounding area commonly are over-strained due to improper form when performing such physical exercises. The first glove, the second glove and the focus strap provide assistance and adjustments needed when performing abdominal or core related exercises. Therefore, the present invention best provides assistance for core-related physical exercises.
- Some industry standard common abdominal physical exercises are sit-ups, crunches, bicycle kicks, V-ups, butterfly sit-ups, jackknives, hollow body rocks, Russian twists, vertical leg crunches, and side crunches. Most of these abdominal physical exercises requires a user to maintain hand and arm placement in a particular position while performing the physical exercises.
- Therefore, the present invention assists a user's hands and arms into a comfortable and proper position that is sustained while performing the physical exercises. The focus strap provides the resistance and support necessary to maintain proper form as the first glove and the second glove help keeping arms and hands parallel and aligned. When engaged in a sit-up, if hands are placed behind the head, the present invention supports the weight of the user's head, as the focus strap conforms to the area it is placed on. Thus, eliminating tension and pulling on the neck. For a cross-chest position of the arms, it assists hands and arms into a position where a user is relieved of the energy exerted trying to maintain either form.
- The present invention is a pair of exercise gloves with integrated form band. The pair of exercise gloves with integrated form band comprises a first glove, a second glove, and a form strap. The first glove comprises a first main body, a plurality of first fingers, and a first wrist cuff. The second glove comprises a second main body, a plurality of second fingers, a second wrist cuff.
