Abstract

Described herein is an airtight storage bag mouth assembly defined by opposing first and second elongate panel members. This inventive concept is equipped with adhesive flaps, a slider assembly, and may have a writing label. Unitable coupling members disposed on the opposing first and second elongate panel members are longitudinally disposed substantially along the length of the panel members. A slider assembly is configured to press inward on the unitable coupling members wherein at least one protrusion member disposed on a first unitable coupling member is contiguously and removably disposed within at least one groove member disposed within a second unitable coupling member. The polymer container mouth assembly allows the bag to be in an open or closed state.

Description

    CLAIM OF PRIORITY
  • This application claims priority to and the benefit of U.S. Provisional Application with Ser. No. 63/110,917, filed on Nov. 6, 2020, with the same title, the entire contents of which are hereby incorporated by reference in its entirety.
  • FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The inventive concept relates generally to an airtight storage bag sealer.
  • BACKGROUND
  • Currently, there are a number of solutions for preserving perishable items. One of these solutions attempts to utilize sealed plastic containers, but this solution fails to meet the needs of the market because sealed plastic containers may require removing contents from original packaging. Another solution attempts to utilize zip-lock bags, but this solution is similarly unable to meet the needs of the market because zip-lock bags also require removing contents from original packaging and may introduce new waste after use to add to the original packaging. Still another solution seeks to utilize bag sealers, but this solution also fails to meet market needs because bag sealers may not seal bags completely. Therefore, there currently exists a need in the market for an apparatus that keeps food fresh in its original packaging.
