When theflange driving member 2 and theplanetary gear system 4 are engaged, thefirst pin 26 is aligned to insert into the first slot 423 (the second slot 433) to complete positioning, and then the load-bearing iron ring 43 is screwed and fixed with theflange driving member 2 through the screw, so that the load-bearing iron ring 43, thering gear 42 and theflange driving member 2 are connected into a whole. Through the assembling relationship that the load-bearing iron ring 43, thering gear 42 and theflange driving member 2 are connected into a whole, as theflange driving member 2 is rotated, thering gear 42 can be rotated, and since theflange driving member 2 is fixedly assembled with thegrip rod 1, when thegrip rod 1 is rotated, thering gear 42 can be rotated, and then through the transmission of the planetary gear, thegear shaft 46 is rotated. Thegear shaft 46 is fitted with the external thread on the firsttelescopic rod 61 or the secondtelescopic rod 62 through thehelical groove 462 in the shaft hole to drive the firsttelescopic rod 61 and the secondtelescopic rod 62 to extend or retract. - The outer casing 41 is fixedly connected with the dumbbell piece through the dumbbell
piece mounting plate 5, so that when the grip rod lis rotated, the outer casing 41 is kept stationary by means of a gravity of the dumbbell piece. - In order to avoid potential safety hazards caused by erroneous rotation of the
grip rod 1 when lifting dumbbells, in this embodiment, it is also provided with a means for locking the dumbbell piece adjustment system. With continued reference toFIGS. 11 and 13-14 , the locking element 40 is mounted on the outer casing 41. The locking element 40 includes abase 401 and amovable pin 402 slidably mounted in thebase 401, and the movable pin always has a tendency to move radially outward toward the outer casing 41 by a compression spring (not shown) mounted between the base 401 and themovable pin 402. Specifically, thebase 401 includes aninner groove 4011 substantially matching a shape of themovable pin 402, and two opposite groove walls of theinner groove 4011 are provided with a U-shaped convex slidinggroove 4012 for fitting with a slidinggroove 4023 on themovable pin 402 to form a sliding connection between the two. Thebase 401 is further provided with a firstspring sleeve column 4013 for sleeving the compression spring. A shape of a main body of themovable pin 402 is substantially rectangular, and one end of the main body toward an outer side of thebase 401 is provided with alocking block 4022 matching the shape of the lockinggroove 221, which is used to cooperate with the lockinggroove 221 instead of the main body of themovable pin 402 to realize locking. Themovable pin 402 is provided with a slidinggroove 4023, themovable pin 402 is fitted into theinner groove 4011, and the slidinggroove 4023 cooperates with the slidinggroove 4012 to realize the sliding connection between the base 401 and themovable pin 402. Themovable pin 402 is further provided with a secondspring sleeve column 4021 for sleeving the compression spring. In this embodiment, by providing the firstspring sleeve column 4013 and the secondspring sleeve column 4021, it is not only convenient to mount and position the compression spring during assembly, but also can prevent the compression spring from falling out due to the shaking of dumbbells in use. In addition, the compression spring, the firstspring sleeve column 4013, and the secondspring sleeve column 4021 are provided with two sets side-by-side, so as to improve the stability of assembly and movement of the locking element. Moreover, the slidinggroove 4012 is U-shaped convex, and the slidinggroove 4012 and the slidinggroove 4023 are respectively provided with two side-by-side on the two opposite groove walls of theinner groove 4011 and the two opposite side edges of themovable pin 402. Such structure helps to improve the reliability of the sliding connection between the base 401 and themovable pin 402. The lockingring 22 of theflange driving member 2 extends into the outer casing 41 of theplanetary gear system 4, so that themovable pin 402 is inserted into the lockinggroove 221 of the lockingring 22 to restrict the rotation of thegrip rod 1 and theflange driving member 2 relative to the outer casing 41. - The outer casing 41 is provided with an
exposure hole 413 for exposing thelocking block 4022. When it is necessary to unlock the rotation of thegrip rod 1 and theflange driving member 2 relative to the outer casing 41, thelocking block 4022 is pressed to complete the unlocking. - In this example, a dumbbell adjustment system in the form of a grip rod drive planetary gear system is used as an example to illustrate the specific structure and function of the locking element 40. However, the locking element 40 provided in this embodiment can also be applied to other forms of dumbbell piece adjustment systems, for example, in the form of a moving driven telescopic rod with the locking element 40 locking the movement of the telescopic rod.
- Although the present invention has been particularly shown and described in conjunction with preferred embodiments, those skilled in the art should understand that various changes in form and detail may be made to the present invention without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention as defined by the appended claims, which fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
