Abstract
A moisture-permeable waterproof shoe includes a shoe-shaped inner sleeve defining a foot space and having an inclined annular top edge inclining downwardly from a front side to a rear side thereof, and an outer sock body including a main sock body portion that is sleeved on the shoe-shaped inner sleeve, an insertion portion higher than the inclined annular top edge, and an annular sewing portion extending from the insertion portion to the foot space and fixed to the shoe-shaped inner sleeve. The insertion portion defines an insertion opening communicating with the foot space, and has opposite front and rear ears, and two side portions connected between the front and rear ears.
Description
- This application claims priority of Taiwanese Invention Patent Application No. 109145390, filed on Dec. 22, 2020.
- The disclosure relates to a shoe, and more particularly to a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe.
- Referring to
FIGS. 1 to 3 , a conventional sock shoe includes aninner sleeve 1, an upper 2 sleeved on theinner sleeve 1, abinding band 3, and a sole 4 fixed to a bottom part of the upper 2. Theinner sleeve 1 defines afoot space 102, and has a sleeve topopen edge 101 surrounding a foot space opening 103 of thefoot space 102. The upper 2 has an upper topopen edge 201 that corresponds to the sleeve topopen edge 101 and that has the same height as the sleeve topopen edge 101. Thebinding band 3 is fixed around the sleeve topopen edge 101 and the upper topopen edge 201 to bind them together. - Referring to
FIG. 4 , in combination withFIG. 3 , in order to maintain the stability of the conventional sock shoe when worn by a user, the sleeve topopen end 101 thereof cannot be located lower than an ankle of the user to prevent a width (W) of the foot space opening 103 from becoming too large, thereby preventing a heel of the user from slipping out of the conventional sock shoe. Since the width (W) of the foot space opening 103 is smaller than that of a normal shoe, and since theinner sleeve 1 has a certain structural toughness, the user cannot greatly pull the sleeve topopen edge 101 to widen the foot space opening 103 when wearing the conventional sock shoe, so that an entry angle of a foot of the user into thefoot space 102 through thefoot space opening 103 is quite limited. At first, only less than half of the user's foot can be inserted into thefoot space 102, after which the user spends a lot of time and effort to insert the sole of the foot into thefoot space 102, and finally, a heel portion of the conventional sock shoe is pulled upward with force to fit the remaining portion of the foot into thefoot space 102. Thus, it is inconvenient to wear the conventional sock shoe. - Furthermore, the sleeve top
open end 101 of the conventional sock shoe cannot be located above the ankle of the user as it will cause the width (W) of the foot space opening 103 to become too small which will hinder the wearing of the conventional sock shoe. Hence, the conventional sock shoe cannot cover well the ankle of the user, thereby affecting the comfort during the wearing thereof. - Therefore, an object of the present disclosure is to provide a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe that can alleviate at least one of the drawbacks of the prior art.
- Accordingly, a moisture-permeable waterproof shoe of this disclosure includes a shoe-shaped inner sleeve, an outer sock body, a connecting layer and a sole. The shoe-shaped inner sleeve includes a moisture-permeable waterproof layer located on an outer side thereof, defines a foot space having an open top end and a closed bottom end, and has an inclined annular top edge inclining downwardly from a front side to a rear side thereof. The foot space has a foot space opening surrounded by the inclined annular top edge.
- The outer sock body includes a main sock body portion, an insertion portion and an annular sewing portion. The main sock body portion corresponds to the shoe-shaped inner sleeve, is sleeved on the shoe-shaped inner sleeve, and has an annular top edge. The insertion portion extends upwardly from the annular top edge of the main sock body portion. The annular sewing portion extends downwardly from the insertion portion to the foot space and is fixed to an inner surface of the shoe-shaped inner sleeve. The annular sewing portion has a bottom edge lower than the inclined annular top edge.
- The connecting layer is fixed between the shoe-shaped inner sleeve and the outer sock body. The sole is fixed to a bottom surface of the main sock body portion.
- The insertion portion is higher than the inclined annular top edge, defines an insertion opening communicating with the foot space, and has a front ear, a rear ear opposite to the front ear, and two side portions connected between the front and rear ears. The front ear has a front ear body portion, and two front wing portions extending rearwardly and respectively from left and right sides of the front ear body portion. Each front wing portion has a top edge that inclines rearwardly and downwardly from a top edge of the front ear body portion. The rear ear has a rear ear body portion corresponding to the front ear body portion, and two rear wing portions extending forwardly and respectively from left and right sides of the rear ear body portion and corresponding to the two front wing portions. Each rear wing portion has a top edge that inclines forwardly and downwardly from a top edge of the rear ear body portion. The top edge of the front ear body portion is higher than the top edge of the rear ear body portion. The two side portions are connected between the two front wing portions and the two rear wing portions.

FIG. 11 is a schematic view illustrating how a foot of a user can be inserted into the embodiment by pulling apart a front ear and a rear ear of an outer sock body of the embodiment; -
FIG. 12 is a view similar toFIG. 7 , but illustrating how the foot of the user can be inserted into the embodiment by pulling apart the front and rear ears of the outer sock body of the embodiment; -
FIG. 13 is a view similar toFIG. 12 , but with the foot of the user being completely inserted into the embodiment and the ankle of the user being covered by the front and rear ears of the outer sock body; and -
FIG. 14 illustrates the state of the embodiment after it is worn by the user. - Referring to
FIGS. 5 to 8 , a moisture-permeablewaterproof shoe 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes a shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10, anouter sock body 20, a connectinglayer 30, a tighteningunit 40, a sole 50 and anadhesive layer 60. - In this embodiment, the shoe-shaped
inner sleeve 10 includes alining layer 11 serving as an inner surface thereof, anouter fabric layer 12, afoam layer 13 fixed between thelining layer 11 and theouter fabric layer 12, and a moisture-permeablewaterproof layer 14 fixed to an outer surface of theouter fabric layer 12 and located on an outer side of the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10. The moisture-permeablewaterproof layer 14 serves as an outer surface of the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10 in this embodiment. - The shoe-shaped
inner sleeve 10 defines afoot space 15 having an open top end and a closed bottom end, and has an inclined annulartop edge 16 inclining downwardly from a front side to a rear side thereof. Thefoot space 15 has a foot space opening 151 surrounded by the inclined annulartop edge 16. The foot space opening 151 has a width (W1) along a front-rear direction. In this embodiment, the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10 is made by sewing a cut piece and adhering waterproof strips onto the seams thereof, but is not limited thereto. - Referring to
FIGS. 9 and 10 , in combination withFIGS. 6 and 7 , theouter sock body 20 includes a mainsock body portion 21, aninsertion portion 22 and anannular sewing portion 23. The mainsock body portion 21 corresponds to the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10, is sleeved on the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10, and has an annulartop edge 211. In this embodiment, theouter sock body 20 is a knitted sock. - The
insertion portion 22 extends upwardly from the annulartop edge 211 of the mainsock body portion 21, is higher than the inclined annulartop edge 16 of the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10, and defines an insertion opening 27 communicating with thefoot space 15. Theinsertion portion 22 has afront ear 24, arear ear 25 opposite to thefront ear 24, and twoside portions 26 connected between thefront ear 24 and therear ear 25. In this embodiment, thefront ear 24, therear ear 25 and the twoside portions 26 cooperate to define the insertion opening 27, and theinsertion opening 27 has a width (W2) along the front-rear direction. - The front and
rear ears FIG. 7 , when the front andrear ears insertion opening 27 is smaller than the width (W1) of thefoot space opening 151. Referring toFIG. 12 , when the front andrear ears rear ears insertion opening 27 is larger than the width (W1) of thefoot space opening 151. - Referring back to
FIGS. 7, 9 and 10 , thefront ear 24 has a frontear body portion 241, and twofront wing portions 242 extending rearwardly and respectively from left and right sides of the frontear body portion 241. Each of thefront wing portions 242 has atop edge 244 that inclines rearwardly and downwardly from atop edge 243 of the frontear body portion 241. Therear ear 25 has a rearear body portion 251 corresponding to the frontear body portion 241, and tworear wing portions 252 extending forwardly and respectively from left and right sides of the rearear body portion 251 and corresponding to the twofront wing portions 242. Each of therear wing portions 252 has atop edge 254 that inclines forwardly and downwardly from atop edge 253 of the rearear body portion 251. Thetop edge 243 of the frontear body portion 241 is higher than thetop edge 253 of the rearear body portion 251. The twoside portions 26 are connected between the twofront wing portions 242 and the tworear wing portions 252. - The
annular sewing portion 23 extends downwardly from theinsertion portion 22 to thefoot space 15 and is fixed to an inner surface of the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10. In this embodiment, theannular sewing portion 23 has a bottom edge lower than the inclined annulartop edge 16 of the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10. - It should be noted herein that, in the manufacturing process of the
outer sock body 20 of this embodiment, theouter sock body 20 has anextension portion 210 that extends upwardly from the annulartop edge 211 of the mainsock body portion 21 and that is folded back inwardly to form theinsertion portion 22 and theannular sewing portion 23. Specifically, theannular sewing portion 23 is sewn to thelining layer 11 of the shoe-shaped inner sleeve 10 (seeFIG. 7 ). Further, theinsertion portion 22 has a double-layered knitted fabric structure, while theannular sewing portion 23 has a single-layered knitted fabric structure. - With reference to
FIGS. 7 and 8 , the connectinglayer 30 is fixedly adhered between the outer surface or moisture-permeablewaterproof layer 14 of the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10 and the mainsock body portion 21 of theouter sock body 20 to closely attach the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10 and theouter sock body 20. In this embodiment, the connectinglayer 30 is an adhesive layer. - With reference to
FIGS. 5 and 6 , the tighteningunit 40 includes afirst tightening plate 41 connected to the sole 50, asecond tightening plate 42 connected to the sole 50, and a tighteningstrap 43 connected between thefirst tightening plate 41 and thesecond tightening plate 42. - The
first tightening plate 41 includes afirst plate body 411 abutting against the mainsock body portion 21, afirst strap body 412 extending rearwardly from thefirst plate body 411, and a first connectingmember 413 disposed on thefirst strap body 412. In this embodiment, thefirst plate body 411 includes a firstbottom end portion 414 connected to the sole 50, and a firsttop end portion 415 connected to the tighteningstrap 43. The firsttop end portion 415 includes a plurality of spaced-apart first throughholes 416. - The
second tightening plate 42 includes asecond plate body 421 abutting against the mainsock body portion 21, asecond strap body 422 extending rearwardly from thesecond plate body 421, and a second connectingmember 423 disposed on thesecond strap body 422. In this embodiment, thesecond plate body 421 includes a secondbottom end portion 424 connected to the sole 50, and a secondtop end portion 425 connected to the tighteningstrap 43. The second top end portion 925 includes a plurality of spaced-apart second throughholes 426. - In this embodiment, the
first plate body 411 and thesecond plate body 421 are respectively disposed on left and right sides of the mainsock body portion 21. Further, thesecond strap body 422 is longer than the first strap body 912, and extends around a rear side of therear ear 25 to releasably connect the second connectingmember 423 to the first connectingmember 413. Moreover, the first connectingmember 413 and the second connectingmember 423 are hook and loop fasteners. - In this embodiment, the tightening
strap 43 is a shoelace that is removably threaded through the first throughholes 416 and the second throughholes 426. - The
adhesive layer 60 is adhered between a bottom surface of the mainsock body portion 21 and a top surface of the sole 50 to fix the sole 50 to the bottom surface of the mainsock body portion 21, as shown inFIGS. 7 and 8 . - Referring to
FIGS. 11 to 13 , to wear the moisture-permeablewaterproof shoe 100, a user simply pulls apart thefront ear 24 and therear ear 25 of theinsertion portion 22 to make the width (W2) of theinsertion opening 27 larger than the width (W1) of thefoot space opening 151 and to increase an entry angle of a foot of the user into theinsertion portion 22 through theinsertion opening 27. At this time, since the width (W1) of thefoot space opening 151 of this embodiment is greater than the width (W) of the foot space opening 103 (seeFIG. 3 ) of the conventional sock shoe, the user can directly insert approximately three quarters of his/her foot into thefoot space 15 of the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10 at the beginning, and then pull upward thefront ear 24 and therear ear 25 to insert the entire foot easily and smoothly into thefoot space 15 with less effort. Afterwards, pulling of thefront ear 24 and therear ear 25 may be released to switch them back to the non-pulling state so as to cover the user's ankle. In addition, as shown inFIG. 14 , the user can extend thesecond strap body 422 around the rear side of therear ear 25 to releasably connect the second connectingmember 423 to the first connectingmember 413, and tightness of therear ear 25 against the user's heel can be adjusted through thesecond strap body 422. - From the aforesaid description, the advantages of this disclosure can be summarized as follows:
- 1. Through the configuration of the inclined annular
top edge 16, which inclines downwardly from the front side to the rear side of the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10 so that the width (W1) of thefoot space opening 151 of the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10 can be effectively increased, and through the configuration of the front andrear ears insertion portion 22 of theouter sock body 20, which can be pulled apart from each other so as to make the width (W2) of theinsertion opening 27 greater than the width (W1) of thefoot space opening 151 so that the entry angle of the foot of the user into thefoot space 15 through theinsertion opening 27 can be increased, the moisture-permeablewaterproof shoe 100 of the present disclosure can be easily worn on or removed from the foot of the user as compared to the conventional sock shoe. - 2. Through the configuration of the front and
rear ears insertion portion 22 of theouter sock body 20, the front andrear ears top edge 16 from the ankle of the user. In comparison with the conventional sock shoe, the moisture-permeablewaterproof shoe 100 not only can provide easy wearing and removal thereof, but also can improve comfort during wear thereof through the front andrear ears rear ear 25 serving as a blockage to prevent the user's heel from slipping out of the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10, stability of the moisture-permeablewaterproof shoe 100 when worn by the user can be maintained. - 3. Through the cooperation of the first and
second tightening plates second strap body 422 can extend around the rear side of therear ear 25 to releasably connect the second connectingmember 423 to the first connectingmember 413. Therefore, the user can adjust the tightness of thesecond strap body 422 against the user's heel to effectively prevent his/her heel from easily slipping out of the shoe-shapedinner sleeve 10. This can further improve the stability of the moisture-permeablewaterproof shoe 100. - While the disclosure has been described in connection with what is considered the exemplary embodiment, it is understood that this disclosure is not limited to the disclosed embodiment but is intended to cover various arrangements included within the spirit and scope of the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and equivalent arrangements.
Claims (10)
1. A moisture-permeable waterproof shoe comprising:
a shoe-shaped inner sleeve that includes a moisture-permeable waterproof layer located on an outer side thereof, that defines a foot space having an open top end and a closed bottom end, and that has an inclined annular top edge inclining downwardly from a front side to a rear side of said shoe-shaped inner sleeve, said foot space having a foot space opening surrounded by said inclined annular top edge;
an outer sock body including a main sock body portion that corresponds to said shoe-shaped inner sleeve, that is sleeved on said shoe-shaped inner sleeve and that has an annular top edge, an insertion portion extending upwardly from said annular top edge of said main sock body portion, and an annular sewing portion extending downwardly from said insertion portion to said foot space and fixed to an inner surface of said shoe-shaped inner sleeve, said annular sewing portion having a bottom edge lower than said inclined annular top edge;
a connecting layer fixed between said shoe-shaped inner sleeve and said outer sock body; and
a sole fixed to a bottom surface of said main sock body portion;
wherein said insertion portion is higher than said inclined annular top edge, defines an insertion opening communicating with said foot space, and has a front ear, a rear ear opposite to said front ear, and two side portions connected between said front ear and said rear ear;
wherein said front ear has a front ear body portion, and two front wing portions extending rearwardly and respectively from left and right sides of said front ear body portion, each of said front wing portions having a top edge that inclines rearwardly and downwardly from a top edge of said front ear body portion;
wherein said rear ear has a rear ear body portion corresponding to said front ear body portion, and two rear wing portions extending forwardly and respectively from left and right sides of said rear ear body portion and corresponding to said two front wing portions, each of said rear wing portions having a top edge that inclines forwardly and downwardly from a top edge of said rear ear body portion;
wherein said top edge of said front ear body portion is higher than said top edge of said rear ear body portion; and
wherein said two side portions are connected between said two front wing portions and said two rear wing portions.
2. The moisture-permeable waterproof shoe as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said outer sock body has an extension portion that extends upwardly from said annular top edge of said main sock body portion and that is folded back inwardly to form said insertion portion and said annular sewing portion.
3. The moisture-permeable waterproof shoe as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said shoe-shaped inner sleeve further includes a lining layer serving as said inner surface thereof, an outer fabric layer, and a foam layer fixed between said lining layer and said outer fabric layer, said moisture-permeable waterproof layer being fixed to an outer surface of said outer fabric layer, said annular sewing portion being sewn to said lining layer.

The moisture-permeable waterproof shoe as claimed in claim 1 , further comprising a tightening unit that includes a first tightening plate connected to said sole, a second tightening plate connected to said sole, and at least one tightening strap connected between said first tightening plate and said second tightening plate.
5. The moisture-permeable waterproof shoe as claimed in claim 4 , wherein:
said first tightening plate includes a first plate body abutting against said main sock body portion, a first strap body extending rearwardly from said first plate body, and a first connecting member disposed on said first strap body;
said second tightening plate includes a second plate body abutting against said main sock body portion, a second strap body extending rearwardly from said second plate body, and a second connecting member disposed on said second strap body;
said first plate body and said second plate body are respectively disposed on left and right sides of said main sock body portion; and
said second strap body is longer than said first strap body, and extends around a rear side of said rear ear to releasably connect said second connecting member to said first connecting member.
6. The moisture-permeable waterproof shoe as claimed in claim 5 , wherein said first connecting member and said second connecting member are hook and loop fasteners.
7. The moisture-permeable waterproof shoe as claimed in claim 5 , wherein:
said first plate body includes a first bottom end portion connected to said sole, and a first top end portion connected to said tightening strap; and
said second plate body includes a second bottom end portion connected to said sole, and a second top end portion connected to said tightening strap.
8. The moisture-permeable waterproof shoe as claimed in claim 7 , wherein said first top end portion includes a plurality of spaced-apart first through holes, said second top end portion includes a plurality of spaced-apart second through holes, and said tightening strap is a shoelace that is removably threaded through said first through holes and said second through holes.
9. The moisture-permeable waterproof shoe as claimed in claim 1 , wherein said outer sock body is a knitted sock.
10. The moisture-permeable waterproof shoe as claimed in claim 1 , wherein:
said front ear and said rear ear are movable between a non-pulling state and a pulling state;
when said front ear and said rear ear are in said non-pulling state, said insertion opening has a width (W2) smaller than a width (W1) of said foot space opening; and
when said front ear and said rear ear are in said pulling state, said front ear and said rear ear are pulled apart from each other, and said width (W2) of said insertion opening is larger than said width (W1) of said foot space opening.
