Abstract
There is provided a door panel installation auxiliary device, which includes a first mounting seat and a second mounting seat. The first mounting seat is provided with a first mounting hole, and the second mounting seat is provided with a second mounting hole. The first mounting seat is provided with a level tube and a first limiting mechanism used to be clamped with one end of a door panel. The second mounting seat is provided with a second limiting mechanism used to be clamped with the other end of the door panel. The door panel installation auxiliary device can quickly and accurately identify the installation position of the door panel without using a ruler as an installation aid to mark the position of the installation seat, thereby making it more convenient when installing a door panel.
Description
- This is a U.S. patent application which claims the priority and benefit of Chinese patent application number 202022635241.7, filed on Nov. 13, 2020, the disclosure of which is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
- This disclosure relates to the technical field of articles of furniture, and more particularly relates to a door panel installation auxiliary device, as well as a method of installing a door panel using the same.
- In daily life, there are some areas in the home that children are not allowed to enter or leave at will without the care of adults, such as the kitchen, bathroom, stairway, balcony, and other areas, in order to prevent potential accidents from happening. For purposes of restricting the range of children's activities, barriers such as door panels are usually installed in these areas.
- However, when an existing door panel is installed, the two ends of the door panel are usually directly fixed to the corresponding walls, door frame or other contact objects. As such, due to the large size of the door panel, the work intensity and installation difficulty for workers will be increased if it is directly installed.
- In view of the above shortcomings of the related art, it is an objective of this disclosure to provide a door panel installation auxiliary device and a method of installing a door panel using the same, which can quickly and accurately identify the installation position of the door panel without the need of using a ruler as an installation aid to mark the position of the installation seat, thereby making it more convenient when installing door panels.
- The above-mentioned technical objective of this disclosure is achieved through the following technical solutions. There is provided a door panel installation auxiliary device, including a first mounting seat and a second mounting seat. The first mounting seat is provided with a first mounting hole. The second mounting seat is provided with a second mounting hole. The first mounting seat is provided with a level tube and a first limiting mechanism for clamping one end of the door panel. The second mounting seat is provided with a second limiting mechanism for clamping the other end of the door panel.
- In some embodiments, the door panel installation auxiliary device also includes a fixing mechanism for fixing the level tube. The fixing mechanism is arranged on the first mounting seat. The level tube is clamped with the fixing mechanism.
- In some embodiments, the fixing mechanism includes a first fixing assembly and a second fixing assembly. One end of the level tube is clamped with the first fixing assembly, and the other end is clamped with the second fixing assembly.
- In some embodiments, the first fixing assembly includes two first clamping blocks, a first fixing block, and a first lock block for fixing the level tube. The first lock block is arranged on the first fixing block. The first fixing block and the two first clamping blocks are all arranged on the first mounting seat. The two first clamping blocks are symmetrically arranged on both sides of the first fixing block.
- In some embodiments, the first locking block and the first fixing block are of an integrated structure.
- In some embodiments, the second fixing assembly includes two second clamping blocks, a second fixing block, and a second lock block for fixing the level tube. The second lock block is arranged on the second fixing block. The second fixing block and the two second clamping blocks are all arranged on the first mounting seat. The two second clamping blocks are symmetrically arranged on both sides of the second fixing block.
- In some embodiments, the second locking block and the second fixing block are of an integrated structure.
- In some embodiments, the first limiting mechanism includes a first limiting block and two first limiting assemblies arranged on the first mounting seat. The two first limiting assemblies are symmetrically arranged under the first limiting block.
- In some embodiments, the first limiting assembly includes a horizontal limiting block and a first vertical limiting block, which are both arranged on the first mounting seat. The horizontal limiting block and the first vertical limiting block are arranged in an L shape and located under the first limiting block.
- In some embodiments, the distances between the first limiting block, the horizontal limiting blocks, and the first vertical limiting blocks are adjustable.
- In some embodiments, the second limiting mechanism includes a second limiting block, two second limiting assemblies, and a clamping member for engaging the other end of the door panel. The two second limiting assemblies are symmetrically arranged and located under the second limiting block.
- In some embodiments, the second limiting assemblies each include a second vertical limiting block arranged on the second mounting seat.
- In some embodiments, the distances between the second limiting block, the second vertical limiting blocks, and the clamping member are adjustable.
- In some embodiments, the second limiting block, the second vertical limiting blocks, the clamping member, and the second mounting seat are of an integrated structure.
- There is further provided a method of installing a door panel using any one of the above door panel installation auxiliary devices, the method including the following operations:
- clamping two ends of the door panel in the first limiting mechanism of the first mounting seat and the second limiting mechanism of the second mounting seat, respectively;
- fixing the first mounting seat to an upper position of a contact object, and fixing the second mounting seat to a lower position of the contact object, wherein the contact object is an object on which the door panel is to be installed;
- adjusting the level tube to maintain a horizontal state;
- removing the door panel, and marking up positions of the first mounting hole of the first mounting seat and the second mounting hole of the second mounting seat on the contact object; and
- fixing the two ends of the door panel according to the positions of the first mounting hole and the second mounting hole on the contact object.
- In summary, the present disclosure provides the following beneficial effects.
- With the door panel installation auxiliary device according to this disclosure, the first mounting seat and the second mounting seat are first respectively fixed to the upper and lower positions of the contact object such as a wall or door frame using double-sided tape. During installation, the level tube is ensured to be in a horizontal state, and may be used by the staff to check the horizontal and vertical positions of the first mounting seat in installation. Thus, it is easier to install the door panel vertically during installation, ensure that the first mounting seat and the second mounting seat are located on the same axis, thereby guaranteeing the precision of subsequent door panel installation. Then the positions of the first mounting hole in the first mounting seat and the second mounting hole in the second mounting seat are marked up, and then the two ends of the door panel are fixed according to the positions of the first mounting hole and the second mounting hole, thereby realizing the fixing and installation of the door panel. Compared with the related art that directly fixes the two ends of the door panel, this disclosure can quickly and accurately identify the installation position of the door panel without the need of using a ruler as an installation aid to mark the position of the installation seat, making it more convenient and practical to install the door panel.

FIGS. 1 and 4 , which includes a first mounting seat 1 and a second mountingseat 2. The first mounting seat 1 is provided with a first mountinghole 3. The second mountingseat 2 is provided with asecond mounting hole 4. The first mounting seat 1 is provided with alevel tube 7 and a first limitingmechanism 5 used to be clamped with one end of the door panel. The second mountingseat 2 is provided with a second limitingmechanism 6 used to be clamped with the other end of the door panel. - The door panel installation auxiliary device of the present application is fitted with the door panel that needs to be installed. In particular, the position of the first mounting
hole 3 corresponds to the position of the fixing hole at one end of the door panel, and the position of thesecond mounting hole 4 corresponds to the position of the fixing hole at the other end of the door panel. The number and positions of first mountingholes 3 and second mountingholes 4 may be appropriately changed according to the specification and size of the door panel. - In the related art, when the two ends of the door panel are directly fixed, a ruler needs to be used as an installation aid to mark the position of the mounting seat in order to ensure the installation precision of the door panel because of the overall large size of the door panel, resulting in a complicated and cumbersome installation process.
- In contrast thereto, with the door panel installation auxiliary device provided by the present application, when a door panel needs to be installed, the two ends of the door panel are first respectively clamped on the first limiting
mechanism 5 of the first mountingseat 3 and the second limiting mechanism of the second mountingseat 4. Then the first mounting seat 1 is fixed to an upper position of the contact object such as a wall or door frame, and the second mountingseat 2 is fixed to a lower position of the contact object such as the wall or door frame. During installation, thelevel tube 7 is ensured to be in a horizontal state, and may be used by the staff to check the horizontal and vertical positions of the first mounting seat 1 in installation. Thus, it is easier to install the door panel vertically during installation, ensure that the first mounting seat 1 and the second mountingseat 2 are located on the same axis, thereby guaranteeing the precision of subsequent door panel installation. Then the door panel is removed, and the positions of the first mountinghole 3 in the first mounting seat 1 and thesecond mounting hole 4 in the second mountingseat 2 are marked up, and then the two ends of the door panel are fixed according to the positions of the first mountinghole 3 and thesecond mounting hole 4, thereby realizing the fixing and installation of the door panel. Compared with the related art that directly fixes the two ends of the door panel, this disclosure can quickly and accurately identify the installation position of the door panel without the need of using a ruler as an installation aid to mark the position of the installation seat, making it more convenient and practical to install the door panel. - Further, as illustrated in
FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 , there may further be included a fixing mechanism 8 for fixing thelevel tube 7. The fixing mechanism 8 may be arranged on the first mounting seat 1. Thelevel tube 7 is clamped in the fixing mechanism 8. - During the installation process of the first mounting seat 1, the
level tube 7 may be used to check the horizontal position and the vertical position of the first mounting seat 1 when it is installed, thus making it easier to install the door panel upright, ensuring that the door panel and mesh can be installed with a smoother effect. This not only reduces the labor intensity of the staff and effectively reduces the errors that may occur during installation, but also ensures the accuracy of subsequent installation of the door panel as well as the safety performance during use. - The fixing mechanism 8 may fix the
level tube 7 to ensure the stability of thelevel tube 7 during transportation and installation, thus further improving the accuracy of the first mounting seat 1 during installation. - Further, as illustrated in
FIGS. 1 and 2 , the fixing mechanism 8 includes a first fixingassembly 81 and asecond fixing assembly 82. One end of thelevel tube 7 is clamped with the first fixingassembly 81, and the other end is clamped with the second fixingassembly 82. Thus, the stability of thelevel tube 7 can be achieved by the first fixingassembly 81 and the second fixingassembly 82. - Further, as illustrated in
FIGS. 1 and 2 , the first fixingassembly 81 includes two first clamping blocks 811, afirst fixing block 812, and afirst locking block 813 for fixing thelevel tube 7. Thefirst locking block 813 is arranged on thefirst fixing block 812. Thefirst fixing block 812 and the two first clamping blocks 811 are all arranged on the first mounting seat 1. The two first clamping blocks 811 are symmetrically arranged on two sides of thefirst fixing block 812. - The
first fixing block 812 and the two first clamping blocks 811 may restrict the horizontal and vertical movement of thelevel tube 7 thus ensuring the stability of thelevel tube 7. Thefirst locking block 813 may further fix one end of thelevel tube 7 to further improve the stability of thelevel tube 7 during transportation and installation. - Further, as illustrated in
FIGS. 1 and 3 , the second fixingassembly 82 includes two second clamping blocks 821, asecond fixing block 822, and asecond locking block 823 for fixing thelevel tube 7. Thesecond locking block 823 is arranged on thesecond fixing block 822. Thesecond fixing block 822 and the two second clamping blocks 821 are all arranged on the first mounting seat 1. The two second clamping blocks 821 are symmetrically arranged on both sides of thesecond fixing block 822. - The
second fixing block 822 and the two second clamping blocks 821 may restrict the horizontal and vertical movement of thelevel tube 7 thus ensuring the stability of thelevel tube 7. Thesecond locking block 823 may further fix the other end of thelevel tube 7 to further improve the stability of thelevel tube 7 during transportation and installation. - In the installation auxiliary device according to the present application, the first clamping blocks 811, the
first fixing block 812, the second clamping blocks 821, thesecond fixing block 822, and the first mounting base 1 are of an integrated structure; thefirst locking block 813 and thefirst fixing block 812 are of an integrated structure, and thesecond locking block 823 and thesecond fixing block 822 are of an integrated structure, which can further improve the stability of the first fixingassembly 81 and the second fixingassembly 82. Thus, the stability of thelevel tube 7 is greatly improved. - Further, as illustrated in
FIG. 1 , the first limitingmechanism 5 may include a first limitingblock 52 and two first limitingassemblies 51 that are arranged on the first mounting seat 1. The two first limitingassemblies 51 are symmetrically arranged and located under the first limitingblock 52. - The first limiting
block 52 and the two first limitingassemblies 51 are arranged in a triangular layout. When securing the door panel, one end of the door panel lies right within the first limitingblock 52 and the two first limitingassemblies 51. As such, the first limitingblock 52 and the two first limitingassemblies 51 would limit the position of this end of the door panel, thereby ensuring the stability of the door panel installation. - Further, as illustrated in
FIG. 1 , the first limitingassembly 51 may include a horizontal limitingblock 511 and a first vertical limitingblock 512, which are both arranged on the first mounting seat 1. The horizontal limitingblock 511 and the first vertical limitingblock 512 are arranged in an L shape and are located under the first limitingblock 52. - The horizontal limiting
blocks 511 may limit the movement of one end of the door panel in the vertical direction. The first vertical limitingblock 512 and the first limitingblocks 52 may limit the movement of this end of the door panel in the horizontal direction, thereby ensuring the stability of the door panel during operation. - The distances between the first limiting
block 52, the horizontal limitingblocks 511, and the first vertical limitingblocks 512 may be adjusted according to the specifications of the door panel, thereby realizing the fixing and installation of different types of door panels. - The first limiting
block 52, the horizontal limiting block 511 s, the first vertical limitingblocks 512, and the first mounting seat 1 are of an integrated structure, which can further improve the bearing capacity of the first limitingblock 52, the horizontal limitingblocks 511, and the first vertical limitingblocks 512, thereby greatly improving the stability of the door panel. - Further, as illustrated in
FIG. 4 , the second limitingmechanism 6 may include a second limitingblock 62, two second limitingassemblies 61, and a clampingmember 63 for being clamped with the other end of the door panel that are arranged on the second mountingseat 2. The two second limitingassemblies 61 are symmetrically arranged and located under the second limitingblock 62. - The second limiting
block 62 and the two second limitingassemblies 61 also have a triangular layout. During the installation process of the other end of the door panel, the clampingmember 63 is clamped with the other end of the door panel, and this end of the whole door panel right lies within the second limitingblock 62 and the two second limitingassemblies 61. The second limitingblock 62 and the clampingmember 63 restrict the vertical movement of this other end of the door panel, while the twosecond limit assemblies 61 restrict the horizontal movement of this other end of the door panel, thereby ensuring the stability of the door panel when the door panel auxiliary device is in operation. - Further, as illustrated in
FIG. 4 , the second limitingassemblies 61 may each include a second vertical limitingblock 611 arranged on the second mountingseat 2. - The two second vertical limiting
blocks 611 may cooperate with the clampingmember 63 to limit the vertical and horizontal movement of the door panel, thereby ensuring the stability of the door panel when the door panel auxiliary device is in operation. - The distances between the second limiting
block 62, the second vertical limitingblocks 611, and the clampingmember 63 may be adjusted according to the specifications of the door panel, thereby realizing the fixing and installation of different types of door panels. - The second limiting
block 62, the second vertical limitingblocks 611, the clampingmember 63, and the second mountingseat 2 are of an integrated structure, which can further improve the load-bearing strength of the second limitingblock 62, the second vertical limitingblocks 611, and the clampingmember 63, thereby greatly improving the stability of the door panel when the door panel auxiliary device is in operation. - With the door panel installation auxiliary device provided by the present disclosure, when a door panel is installed, the two ends of the door panel are first respectively clamped in the first limiting mechanism of the first mounting seat and the second limiting mechanism of the second mounting seat. Then the horizontal state of the level tube is maintained and the first and second mounting seats are used to find the appropriate installation positions for installing the door panel, after which the positions of the first and second mounting holes are marked up. Then the installation auxiliary device is removed and the two ends of the door panel are fixed according to the positions of the first and second mounting holes, thereby realizing the fixing and installation of the door panel. Compared with the related art that directly fixes both ends of the door panel, the present disclosure can quickly and accurately identify the installation positions for the door panel without needing to use a ruler as an installation aid to mark the position of the installation seat, thereby making it more convenient and practical to install the door panel.
- The foregoing merely depicts some illustrative embodiments according to this disclosure, and the scope of protection of this disclosure will not be limited to the foregoing embodiments. All technical solutions under the spirit of the present disclosure shall belong to the scope of protection of this disclosure. For those having ordinary skill in the art, numerous improvements and modifications made without departing from the principles of the present disclosure should also be regarded as fall in the scope of protection of this disclosure.
Claims (15)
1. A door panel installation auxiliary device, comprising:
a first mounting seat, provided with a first mounting hole, and further provided with a level tube and a first limiting mechanism configured for being clamped with one end of a door panel; and
a second mounting seat, provided with a second mounting hole, and further provided with a second limiting mechanism configured for being clamped with another end of the door panel.
2. The door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 1 , further comprising a fixing mechanism configured for fixing the level tube, wherein the fixing mechanism is arranged on the first mounting seat, and the level tube is clamped with the fixing mechanism.
3. The door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 2 , wherein the fixing mechanism comprises a first fixing assembly and a second fixing assembly, and wherein one end of the level tube is clamped with the first fixing assembly, and another end of the level tube is clamped with the second fixing assembly.
4. The door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 3 , wherein the first fixing assembly comprises two first clamping blocks, a first fixing block, and a first locking block configured for fixing the level tube, wherein the first locking block is arranged on the first fixing block, wherein the first fixing block and the two first clamping blocks are all arranged on the first mounting seat, and wherein the two first clamping blocks are symmetrically arranged on both sides of the first fixing block.
5. The door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 4 , wherein the first locking block and the first fixing block are of an integrated structure.
6. The door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 3 , wherein the second fixing assembly comprises two second clamping blocks, a second fixing block, and a second locking block configured for fixing the level tube, wherein the second locking block is arranged on the second fixing block, wherein the second fixing block and the two second clamping blocks are all arranged on the first mounting seat, and wherein the two second clamping blocks are symmetrically arranged on both sides of the second fixing block.
7. The door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 6 , wherein the second locking block and the second fixing block are of an integrated structure.
8. The door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 1 , wherein the first limiting mechanism comprises a first limiting block and two first limiting assemblies that arranged on the first mounting seat, and wherein the two first limiting assemblies are symmetrically arranged under the first limiting block.
9. The door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 8 , wherein the first limiting assemblies each comprise a horizontal limiting block and a first vertical limiting block, which are both arranged on the first mounting seat, and wherein the horizontal limiting block and the first vertical limiting block are arranged in an L shape and disposed under the first limiting block.
10. The door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 9 , wherein distances between the first limiting block, the horizontal limiting blocks, and the first vertical limiting blocks are adjustable.
11. The door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 1 , wherein the second limiting mechanism comprises a second limiting block, two second limiting assemblies, and a clamping member configured for being clamped with another end of the door panel, and wherein the two second limiting assemblies are symmetrically arranged under the second limiting block.
12. The door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 11 , wherein the second limiting assemblies each comprise a second vertical limiting block arranged on the second mounting seat.
13. The door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 12 , wherein distances between the second limiting block, the second vertical limiting blocks, and the clamping member are adjustable.
14. The door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 12 , wherein the second limiting block, the second vertical limiting blocks, the clamping member, and the second mounting seat are of an integrated structure.
15. A method of installing a door panel using the door panel installation auxiliary device of claim 1 , comprising:
clamping two ends of the door panel in the first limiting mechanism of the first mounting seat and the second limiting mechanism of the second mounting seat, respectively;
fixing the first mounting seat to an upper position of a contact object, and fixing the second mounting seat to a lower position of the contact object, wherein the contact object is an object on which the door panel is to be installed;
adjusting the level tube to maintain a horizontal state;
removing the door panel, and marking up positions of the first mounting hole of the first mounting seat and the second mounting hole of the second mounting seat on the contact object; and
fixing the two ends of the door panel according to the positions of the first mounting hole and the second mounting hole on the contact object.
