Abstract

An infection transmission control system is provided. The system can include pliable grips configured to wrap around a surface of a publicly used object. The system can include a securing mechanism structured to hold in place the pliable grips around the publicity used object and wherein the pliable grips when engaged with the securing mechanism form a layer which is structured to minimize physical contact between a user of the system and the surface of the publicly used object. Further, a finger pointer protection system is provided. The system includes a conductive silicon fingertip protective cap configured to fit on a person's index finger. The system also includes a fingertip storage container structured to allow storage of the silicon fingertip protective cap securely. The pliable grips and the fingertip protective cap can be created in a disposable version.

Description

    CROSS-REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATIONS
  • This application claims priority to provisional application 63/108,943 filed on Nov. 3, 2020, and is incorporated herein by reference in its entirety.
  • FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to infection transmission control systems, and particularly to infection transmission control systems for minimizing infectious disease transmission when various members of the public utilize the same objects by providing a protective interface between a surface of the objects and members of the public.

  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Previous attempts to create surface disease infection protection by utilizing reusable, convenient, cost-effective systems have been unsuccessful. In many instances, a variety of actions by owners of businesses to continuous clean equipment are typically non-reusable and/or non-sanitary. Further, there were no efforts to provide a protective layer between users and an object they are touching with their hands. Reusability, unable to sanitize, and cost-effectiveness have been factors in not having effective and durable options for providing protective layers between a user's hands and the surfaces of the object. Further, current systems and processes, due to their non-reusability, make these current systems and processes very expensive and time consuming.
  • Accordingly, there is an established need for infection transmission control systems which solve at least one of the aforementioned problems. Further, there is an established need for infection transmission control systems, having various forms, that help a user to provide protection against infectious disease transmission when they touch surfaces of objects.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • According to an aspect of the present invention, an infection transmission control system is provided. The system can include pliable grips configured to wrap around a surface of a publicly used object. The system can include a securing mechanism structured to hold in place the pliable grips around the publicity used object and wherein the pliable grips when engaged with the securing mechanism form a layer which is structured to minimize physical contact between a user of the system and the surface of the publicly used object.
  • According to another aspect of the present invention, Further, a finger pointer protection system is provided. The system includes a conductive silicon fingertip protective cap configured to fit on a person's index finger. The system also includes a fingertip storage container structured to allow storage of the conductive silicon fingertip protective cap securely.
  • In embodiments, the system includes materials, the materials include rubber, plastic, metals, ceramics, leather, conductive silicon and/or silicon.
  • In embodiments, the system can include pliable and shapeable conductive silicon finger pointer exterior surface such that the finger pointer protective cap allows safe and effective interaction with a plurality of user surfaces which may flat, convex, concave, slanted or embedded with a surface. Such examples include gas station payment boards, ATM machines, touch screens, shopping market checkout stations, raised key boards on laptops and desktop computers.
  • In embodiments, the system can include variable thickness such that the finger pointer protective cap buffers ambient temperatures. Examples include being able to utilize the finger pointer protective cap in extreme cold and extreme hot areas such as in Alaska and Death Valley.
  • In embodiments, the system can include materials designed to be reusable, cleanable, and being able to be sanitized.
  • In embodiments, the system can include dissolvable materials so that the finger pointer protective cap can be disposable. The materials can include dissolvable plastics and other thin coverings that are water soluble enabling the system to be one time use and disposable.
  • In embodiments, the system can be configurable in size. This feature allows for having different sizes designed for small children, men, women, personnel of larger stature, as well as personnel of smaller stature.
  • In an aspect, the system can include the publicly used object includes shopping carts, subway handrails, gas station pump handles, credit card payment systems, and/or gym equipment.
  • An embodiment of the present invention can be wherein the pliable grips include at least 2 components which when snapped together form a sandwich style object protection covering two opposite sides and provide physical separation between surfaces of the sandwich style object and a user's hands.
  • In another embodiment, the system can also include wherein the fingertip storage container includes a keychain securing mechanism designed to allow securing of the fingertip storage container to the keychain.
  • In another aspect, the system can include sanitize-able components, the sanitize-able components designed to allow for cleaning in a dishwasher, cleaning in an autoclave, and/or a sterilizer.
  • In another aspect, the system reduces exposure to harm to your finger and hands
  • In embodiments, the system can protect fingertips and hands from substances, dirt, liquids, particles, dust, moderate temperatures hot or cold, germs, bacteria
  • In embodiments, the cup part of the Sani Tip has a rim that the tip pops into and locks into place

  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • The features and advantages of the present invention will be better understood when the Detailed Description of the Preferred Embodiments given below is considered in conjunction with the figures provided.
  • FIG. 1 is a side view of a a finger pointer protection system in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view of a system in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 3 is a side view of a finger pointer in accordance with an embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 4 is an exploded view of an embodiment utilizing a sandwiching mode, in accordance with one non-limiting embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 5 is a cross-sectional view of a fixture in accordance with one non-limiting embodiment of the present invention; and
  • FIG. 6 is a perspective view of an embodiment of the present invention wrapped around a handle.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • The present invention will now be described more fully hereinafter with reference to the accompanying drawings, in which preferred embodiments of the invention are shown. This invention may, however, be embodied in many different forms and should not be construed as limited to the embodiments set forth herein. Rather, these embodiments are provided so that this disclosure will be thorough and complete, and will fully convey the scope of the invention to those skilled in the art. Like numbers refer to like elements throughout.
  • As shown in FIG. 1 the functional aspects of finger pointer and its container are shown. The finger pointer protective cap 102 fits over an index finger 201 of a user. The finger pointer protective cap 102 includes a contoured tip 104 which allows firm control of the finger pointer protective cap 102. Further, the finger pointer protective cap 102 can be stored in a finger tip storage container 106.
  • As best seen in FIG. 2 the various evolutions of placing a finger pointer on an index figure and storing the finger pointer in its container are shown. Finger pointer protective cap 102 fits over an index finger 201 of a user. The finger pointer protective cap 102 includes a contoured tip 104 which allows positive control. The system also includes a fingertip storage container 106. The fingertip storage container 106 includes an internal liner 108 which is configured to receive the finger pointer protective cap 102.
  • Turning to FIG. 3, an embodiment showing a connection with a key chain is displayed. As shown the finger pointer protective cap 102 can be inserted into the finger pointer storage container 106 internal liner 108. The system can include a key chain securing mechanism 110 which allows connecting the finger pointer storage container 106 to a key chain holder 203.
  • Referencing FIG. 4 an exploded view of a sandwiching infection transmission control system is shown. The system can include left and right external sides 112 and 114 of the sandwiching system. The system can also include internal left and right hand sides 116 and 118 of the sandwiching system
  • Likewise, FIG. 5 displays opposite sides of a sandwiching infection transmission control system is shown. Left and right hand internal sides 120 and 122 are configured to interlock by manually moving the left and right hand sides 120 and 122 in opposite directions to lock the mechanism in place.
  • FIG. 6 displays a pliable grip in the form of a sheet 130. The sheet contains a securing mechanism 132 such that when the grip is wrapped around a publicly used object and the securing mechanism is engaged to go around the publicly used object it forms a protective layer 136 between the publicly used object and the users hand. Further the system can include a storage pouch 134 that can store the sheet 130 when not in use.
  • Since many modifications, variations, and changes in detail can be made to the described preferred embodiments of the invention, it is intended that all matters in the foregoing description and shown in the accompanying drawings be interpreted as illustrative and not in a limiting sense. Furthermore, it is understood that any of the features presented in the embodiments may be integrated into any of the other embodiments unless explicitly stated otherwise. The scope of the invention should be determined by the appended claims and their legal equivalents.
  • The present invention has been described with reference to the preferred embodiments, it should be noted and understood that various modifications and variations can be crafted by those skilled in the art without departing from the scope and spirit of the invention. Accordingly, the foregoing disclosure should be interpreted as illustrative only and is not to be interpreted in a limiting sense. Further it is intended that any other embodiments of the present invention that result from any changes in application or method of use or operation, method of manufacture, shape, size, or materials which are not specified within the detailed written description or illustrations contained herein are considered within the scope of the present invention.

Claims (8)

What is claimed is:
1. An infection transmission control system comprising:
pliable grips configured to wrap around a surface of a publicly used object;
a securing mechanism structured to hold in place the pliable grips around the publicity used object; and
wherein the pliable grips when engaged with the securing mechanism form a layer which is structured to minimize physical contact between a user of the system and the surface of the publicly used object.
2. The system as recited in claim 1 wherein the system includes materials, the materials include rubber, plastic, metals, ceramics, leather, and/or silicon and/or conductive silicon.
3. The system as recited in claim 1 wherein the publicly used object includes shopping carts, subway handrails, gas station pump handles, credit card payment systems, and/or gym equipment.
4. The system as recited in claim 1 wherein the pliable grips include at least 2 components which when snapped together form a sandwich style object protection covering two opposite sides and provide physical separation between surfaces of the sandwich style object and a user's hands.
5. The system as recited in claim wherein the system components are sandwiched and rolled into a cylinder shape designed for storage purposes.
6. The system as recited in claim 1 wherein the pliable grips include flat sheets configured to wrap around shopping cart handles.
7. A finger pointer protection system comprising:
A conductive silicon fingertip protective cap configured to fit on a person's index finger; and
a fingertip storage container structured to allow storage of the silicon fingertip protective cap securely.
8. The system as recited in claim 6 wherein the fingertip storage container includes a keychain securing mechanism designed to allow securing of the fingertip storage container to the keychain and/or carabiner.
