  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION (1) Field of the Invention
  • The disclosure relates to mouthpiece devices and more particularly pertains to a new mouthpiece device for an electronic vaping module enabling hands-free use thereof.
  • (2) Description of Related Art Including Information Disclosed Under 37 CFR 1.97 and 1.98
  • The prior art relates to mouthpiece devices. Prior art mouthpiece devices may comprise detachable, integral, enlarged, and tapered tubes.
  • BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a tube, which has a first end configured to be engageable to a top of an electronic vaping module so that the tube is mounted to the electronic vaping module and extends arcuately therefrom. The tube is configured to position in a mouth of a user, enabling the user to vape with or without positioning of a hand upon the tube or the electronic vaping module.
  • There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
  • The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

  • The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 8 thereof, a new mouthpiece device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
  • As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 8, the mouthpiece device 10 generally comprises a tube 12, which has a first end 14 configured to be engageable to a top 16 of an electronic vaping module 18 so that the tube 12 is mounted thereto and extends arcuately therefrom. The electronic vaping module 18 comprises a tank 20, a heating resistance coil 22, and a battery 24. The tube 12 is configured to position in a mouth of a user, enabling the user to vape with or without positioning of a hand upon the tube 12 or the electronic vaping module 18.
  • The tube 12 may comprise plastic, or other suitable and substantially rigid material, such as, but not limited to, glass, metal, and the like. A lip 26 is engaged to the tube 12 proximate to a second end 28 thereof and extends outwardly therefrom. The lip 26 is configured to selectively engage teeth or lips of the user to enhance user control over the tube 12 and the electronic vaping module 18.
  • The tube 12 may be circumferentially larger proximate to the first end 14 so that the tube 12 tapers from the first end 14 to the second end 28, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8. The tube 12 may be flattened elliptically shaped, as shown in FIG. 3, or may be alternatively shaped, such as, but not limited to, ovally shaped, circularly shaped, and the like.
  • The tube 12 may have a bend 30 positioned therein proximate to a midpoint 32 thereof, as shown in FIGS. 7 and 8. A first segment 34 of the tube 12 extends substantially colinearly from the electronic vaping module 18 and a second segment 36 of the tube 12 extends substantially perpendicularly from the first segment 34.
  • In use, the tube 12 is engaged to the electronic vaping module 18 and then is positioned in the mouth of the user. The user can vape without grasping the tube 12 or the electronic vaping module 18. The user may elect to grasp the tube 12 or the electronic vaping module 18 in a hand while vaping. The device 10 enables both hands-on and hands-free vaping to more closely mimic smoking of a tobacco product.
  • With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the elements is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.

Claims (14)

I claim:
1. A mouthpiece device comprising a tube having a first end configured to be engageable to a top of an electronic vaping module, such that the tube is mounted to the electronic vaping module and extends arcuately therefrom, wherein the tube is configured for positioning in a mouth of a user, enabling the user for vaping with or without positioning of a hand upon the tube or the electronic vaping module.
2. The mouthpiece device of claim 1, further including a lip engaged to the tube proximate to a second end thereof and extending outwardly therefrom, wherein the lip is configured for selectively engaging teeth or lips of the user for enhancing user control over the tube and the electronic vaping module.
3. The mouthpiece device of claim 1, wherein the tube is circumferentially larger proximate to the first end such that the tube tapers from the first end to a second end thereof.
4. The mouthpiece device of claim 1, wherein the tube is flattened elliptically shaped.
5. The mouthpiece device of claim 1, wherein the tube has a bend positioned therein proximate to a midpoint thereof, such that a first segment of the tube extends substantially colinearly from the electronic vaping module and a second segment of the tube extends substantially perpendicularly from the first segment.
6. The mouthpiece device of claim 1, wherein the tube comprises plastic.
7. A mouthpiece device and electronic vaping module combination comprising:
an electronic vaping module comprising a tank, a heating resistance coil, and a battery; and
a tube selectively engageable to a top of an electronic vaping module, such that the tube is mounted to the electronic vaping module and extends arcuately therefrom, wherein the tube is configured for positioning in a mouth of a user, enabling the user for vaping with or without positioning of a hand upon the tube or the electronic vaping module.
8. The mouthpiece device and electronic vaping module combination of claim 7, further including a lip engaged to the tube proximate to a second end thereof and extending outwardly therefrom, wherein the lip is configured for selectively engaging teeth or lips of the user for enhancing user control over the tube and the electronic vaping module.
9. The mouthpiece device and electronic vaping module combination of claim 7, wherein the tube is circumferentially larger proximate to the first end such that the tube tapers from the first end to a second end thereof.
10. The mouthpiece device and electronic vaping module combination of claim 7, wherein the tube is flattened elliptically shaped.
11. The mouthpiece device and electronic vaping module combination of claim 7, wherein the tube has a bend positioned therein proximate to a midpoint thereof, such that a first segment of the tube extends substantially colinearly from the electronic vaping module and a second segment of the tube extends substantially perpendicularly from the first segment.
12. The mouthpiece device and electronic vaping module combination of claim 7, wherein the tube comprises plastic.
13. A mouthpiece device comprising:
a tube having a first end configured to be engageable to a top of an electronic vaping module, such that the tube is mounted to the electronic vaping module and extends arcuately therefrom, wherein the tube is configured for positioning in a mouth of a user, enabling the user for vaping with or without positioning of a hand upon the tube or the electronic vaping module, the tube being flattened elliptically shaped, the tube being circumferentially larger proximate to the first end such that the tube tapers from the first end to a second end thereof, the tube comprising plastic; and
a lip engaged to the tube proximate to the second end and extending outwardly therefrom, wherein the lip is configured for selectively engaging teeth or lips of the user for enhancing user control over the tube and the electronic vaping module.
14. The mouthpiece device of claim 13, wherein the tube has a bend positioned therein proximate to a midpoint thereof, such that a first segment of the tube extends substantially colinearly from the electronic vaping module and a second segment of the tube extends substantially perpendicularly from the first segment.
