Description
- This application claims priority to Taiwan Application Serial Number 109118169, filed on May 29, 2020, which is herein incorporated by reference.
- The present disclosure relates to thermobottles.
- With the improvement of the living standards nowadays, people have learnt more about health preservation. In daily life, many people are used to carrying a thermobottle when going out, so that they can replenish their body with water when needed.
- However, with the increasing demand of consumers, apart from warm water, consumers also want their thermobottles to be suitable for containing different beverages. Therefore, how to make thermobottles suitable for containing beverages with different properties is undoubtedly an important direction of development of the industry.
- A technical aspect of the present disclosure is to provide a thermobottle, which can enhance the flexibility of usage and provide convenience to the user.
- According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, a thermobottle includes an outer mug, a sleeve, an inner mug and a cover. The sleeve includes a first abutting portion. The inner mug is at least partially sleeved within the sleeve. The first abutting portion is configured to abut against an inner wall of the outer mug to allow the inner mug to be at least partially accommodated within the outer mug. The cover includes a second abutting portion. The second abutting portion and the first abutting portion substantially have the same shape and dimensions. The second abutting portion is configured to abut against an inner wall of the inner mug or the inner wall of the outer mug. When the second abutting portion abuts against the inner wall of the outer mug, the cover seals the outer mug with the inner mug removed from the outer mug. When the second abutting portion abuts against the inner wall of the inner mug, the cover seals the inner mug.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the inner mug includes a first mug body, a second mug body and a third mug body. The first mug body has a first inner diameter. The first abutting portion corresponds with the first mug body. The second mug body has a second inner diameter. The second inner diameter is larger than the first inner diameter. The third mug body is connected between the first mug body and the second mug body.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the first abutting portion also surrounds to form an annular shape.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the first mug body and the third mug body are located within the sleeve. The second mug body is at least partially located outside the sleeve.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the cover includes a main body and a flip cover. The main body has a through hole. The flip cover is pivotally connected with the main body and is configured to seal the through hole.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the outer mug includes an outer structure and an inner structure. The outer structure and the inner structure are at least partially separated from each other and define an insulating space therebetween.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the outer mug and the inner mug are made of different materials.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the outer mug is made of stainless steel.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the inner mug is made of porcelain.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the sleeve is made of silicon.
- According to another embodiment of the present disclosure, a thermobottle includes an outer mug, a sleeve, an inner mug and a cover. The outer mug includes a first coupling portion. The sleeve includes a second coupling portion. The inner mug is at least partially sleeved within the sleeve. The inner mug includes a third coupling portion. The second coupling portion is configured to detachably couple with the first coupling portion to allow the inner mug to be at least partially accommodated within the outer mug. The third coupling portion and the first coupling portion substantially have the same shape and dimensions. The cover includes a fourth coupling portion. The fourth coupling portion and the second coupling portion substantially have the same shape and dimensions. The fourth coupling portion is configured to suitably couple with the first coupling portion or the third coupling portion. When the fourth coupling portion is coupled with first coupling portion, the cover seals the outer mug with the inner mug removed from the outer mug. When the fourth coupling portion is coupled with the third coupling portion, the cover seals the inner mug.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the first coupling portion is disposed on an outer wall of the outer mug. The inner mug includes a first mug body, a second mug body and a third mug body. The first mug body has a first inner diameter. The second mug body has a second inner diameter. The second inner diameter is larger than the first inner diameter. The third coupling portion is disposed on an outer wall of the second mug body. The third mug body is connected between the first mug body and the second mug body. The sleeve includes an inner ring, an outer ring and a supporting portion. The inner ring surrounds and connects with an outer wall of the first mug body. The second coupling portion is located on a side of the outer ring facing to the inner ring. The supporting portion is connected between the inner ring and the outer ring. The supporting portion is configured to be at least partially supported by an edge of the outer mug.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the first coupling portion is an external thread structure, while the second coupling portion is an inner thread structure.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the inner ring has a first snapping portion. The first snapping portion is disposed on a side of the inner ring facing to the outer ring. The outer mug has a second snapping portion. The second snapping portion is disposed on an inner wall of the outer mug. The first snapping portion and the second snapping portion are configured to snap with each other.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the first mug body is at least partially located within the inner ring, while the second mug body is located outside the inner ring.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the outer mug includes an outer structure and an inner structure. The outer structure and the inner structure are at least partially separated from each other and define an insulating space therebetween.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the outer mug and the inner mug are made of different materials.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the outer mug is made of stainless steel.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the inner mug is made of porcelain.
- In one or more embodiments of the present disclosure, the sleeve is made of silicon.
- When compared with the prior art, the above-mentioned embodiments of the present disclosure have at least the following advantages:
- (1) Since the user can choose to contain the beverage in either the outer mug or the inner mug of the thermobottle in a simple and easy manner according to the properties of the beverage or his/her personal preference, the flexibility to use the thermobottle can be enhanced.
- (2) A single one of the cover can be used to seal the outer mug or the inner mug, which is convenient to the user.

For the sake of clear illustration, many practical details will be explained together in the description below. However, it is appreciated that the practical details should not be used to limit the claimed scope. In other words, in some embodiments of the present disclosure, the practical details are not essential. Moreover, for the sake of drawing simplification, some customary structures and elements in the drawings will be schematically shown in a simplified way. Wherever possible, the same reference numbers are used in the drawings and the description to refer to the same or like parts.
- Unless otherwise defined, all terms (including technical and scientific terms) used herein have the same meanings as commonly understood by one of ordinary skill in the art to which this disclosure belongs. It will be further understood that terms, such as those defined in commonly used dictionaries, should be interpreted as having a meaning that is consistent with their meaning in the context of the relevant art and the present disclosure, and will not be interpreted in an idealized or overly formal sense unless expressly so defined herein.
- Reference is made to
FIGS. 1-3 .FIG. 1 is a schematic view of a thermobottle 100 according to an embodiment of the present disclosure.FIG. 2 is an exploded view of thethermobottle 100 ofFIG. 1 .FIG. 3 is a sectional view along the section line A-A ofFIG. 1 . In this embodiment, as shown inFIGS. 1-3 , athermobottle 100 includes anouter mug 110, aninner mug 120 and acover 130. Both of theouter mug 110 and theinner mug 120 are suitable for containing beverages. In practice, theouter mug 110 and theinner mug 120 are made of different materials. Thus, theouter mug 110 and theinner mug 120 can be suitable for containing different beverages because of the difference between their materials. For example, theouter mug 110 can be made of stainless steel, while theinner mug 120 can be made of porcelain. However, this does not intend to limit the present disclosure. Structurally speaking, as shown inFIG. 3 , theouter mug 110 includes anouter structure 112 and aninner structure 113. Theouter structure 112 and theinner structure 113 are at least partially separated from each other and define an insulating space IS therebetween, which facilitates the maintenance of temperature of the beverage contained within theouter mug 110. - To be specific, the
thermobottle 100 further includes asleeve 140. Theinner mug 120 is at least partially sleeved within thesleeve 140. Thesleeve 140 includes a firstabutting portion 141. The firstabutting portion 141 of thesleeve 140 is configured to abut against aninner wall 1101 of theouter mug 110, in order to allow theinner mug 120 to be at least partially accommodated within theouter mug 110. In addition, thecover 130 includes a secondabutting portion 131. The secondabutting portion 131 of thecover 130 and the first abuttingportion 141 of thesleeve 140 substantially have the same shape and dimensions. Moreover, the second abuttingportion 131 of thecover 130 is configured to abut against aninner wall 1241 of theinner mug 120 or theinner wall 1101 of theouter mug 110. In other words, according to the actual situation, thecover 130 can be used to cover theouter mug 110 or theinner mug 120. For example, as shown inFIG. 3 , when the second abuttingportion 131 of thecover 130 abuts against theinner wall 1241 of theinner mug 120, thecover 130 seals theinner mug 120. - Furthermore, as shown in
FIG. 3 , theinner mug 120 includes afirst mug body 123, asecond mug body 124 and athird mug body 125. Thefirst mug body 123 has a first inner diameter ID1. The firstabutting portion 141 of thesleeve 140 is located at anouter wall 140E of thesleeve 140 and corresponds with thefirst mug body 123. Thesecond mug body 124 has a second inner diameter ID2. The second inner diameter ID2 of thesecond mug body 124 is larger than the first inner diameter ID1 of thefirst cup mug 123. Thethird mug body 125 is connected between thefirst mug body 123 and thesecond mug body 124. - To be more specific, in this embodiment, first abutting
portion 141 of thesleeve 140 surrounds to form an annular shape. As mentioned above, the second abuttingportion 131 of thecover 130 and the first abuttingportion 141 of thesleeve 140 substantially have the same shape and dimensions. Therefore, the second abuttingportion 131 of thecover 130 also surrounds to form an annular shape. - In practical applications, the material of the
sleeve 140 is silicon. Thefirst mug body 123 and thethird mug body 125 of theinner mug 120 are located within thesleeve 140, while thesecond mug body 124 is at least partially located outside thesleeve 140. - Reference is made to
FIG. 4 .FIG. 4 is a sectional view of thethermobottle 100 ofFIG. 1 , in which theouter mug 110 is removed. In practical applications, when the second abuttingportion 131 of thecover 130 abuts against theinner wall 1241 of theinner mug 120, such that thecover 130 seals theinner mug 120, theouter mug 110 can be separated from theinner mug 120, as shown inFIG. 4 in which theouter mug 110 is removed. Therefore, the flexibility to use thethermobottle 100 can be enhanced. - Reference is made to
FIG. 5 .FIG. 5 is a sectional view of thethermobottle 100 ofFIG. 1 , in which theinner mug 120 is removed. In practical applications, when the user thinks theouter mug 110 is more suitable to contain a particular beverage than theinner mug 120 does, the user can remove theinner mug 120 from theouter mug 110, as shown inFIG. 5 . When the second abuttingportion 131 of thecover 130 abuts against theinner wall 1101 of theouter mug 110, thecover 130 seals theouter mug 110. - In a nutshell, the user can choose to contain the beverage in either the
outer mug 110 or theinner mug 120 of thethermobottle 100 in a simple and easy manner according to the properties of the beverage or his/her personal preference. Thus, the flexibility to use thethermobottle 100 can be enhanced. Moreover, a single one of thecover 130 can be used to seal theouter mug 110 or theinner mug 120, which is convenient to the user. - Reference is made to
FIG. 6 .FIG. 6 is a schematic view of thethermobottle 100 ofFIG. 1 , in which theflip cover 133 is opened to expose the through hole H of themain body 132. In this embodiment, as shown inFIG. 6 , thecover 130 includes amain body 132 and aflip cover 133. Themain body 132 has a through hole H. Theflip cover 133 is pivotally connected with themain body 132. Moreover, theflip cover 133 is configured to seal the through hole H of themain body 132. When theflip cover 133 is opened to expose the through hole H of themain body 132, the user can pour the beverage out of thethermobottle 100 in a simple and easy manner. - Reference is made to
FIGS. 7-9 .FIG. 7 is a schematic view of a thermobottle 500 according to another embodiment of the present disclosure.FIG. 8 is an exploded view of thethermobottle 500 ofFIG. 7 .FIG. 9 is a sectional view along the section line B-B ofFIG. 7 . In this embodiment, as shown inFIGS. 7-9 , athermobottle 500 includes anouter mug 510, aninner mug 520 and acover 530. Similarly, both of theouter mug 510 and theinner mug 520 are suitable for containing beverages. In practice, theouter mug 510 and theinner mug 520 can be suitable for containing different beverages because of the difference between their materials. For example, theouter mug 510 can be made of stainless steel, while theinner mug 520 can be made of porcelain. However, this does not intend to limit the present disclosure. Structurally speaking, as shown inFIG. 9 , theouter mug 510 includes anouter structure 512 and aninner structure 513. Theouter structure 512 and theinner structure 513 are at least partially separated from each other and define an insulating space IS therebetween, which facilitates the maintenance of temperature of the beverage contained within theouter mug 510. - To be specific, the
outer mug 510 includes afirst coupling portion 511. Moreover, thethermobottle 500 further includes asleeve 540. Theinner mug 520 is at least partially sleeved within thesleeve 540. Thesleeve 540 includes asecond coupling portion 541, while theinner mug 520 includes athird coupling portion 522. Thesecond coupling portion 541 of thesleeve 540 is configured to detachably couple with thefirst coupling portion 511 of theouter mug 510, in order to allow theinner mug 520 to be at least partially accommodated within theouter mug 510. Thethird coupling portion 522 of theinner mug 520 and thefirst coupling portion 511 of theouter mug 510 substantially have the same shape and dimensions. In addition, thecover 530 includes afourth coupling portion 531. Thefourth coupling portion 531 of thecover 530 and thesecond coupling portion 541 of thesleeve 540 substantially have the same shape and dimensions. Moreover, thefourth coupling portion 531 of thecover 530 is configured to suitably couple with thefirst coupling portion 511 of theouter mug 510 or thethird coupling portion 522 of theinner mug 520. In other words, according to the actual situation, thecover 530 can be used to cover theouter mug 510 or theinner mug 520. For example, as shown inFIG. 9 , when thefourth coupling portion 531 of thecover 530 is coupled with thethird coupling portion 522 of theinner mug 520, thecover 530 seals theinner mug 520. - Furthermore, as shown in
FIG. 9 , thefirst coupling portion 511 is disposed on anouter wall 510E of theouter mug 510. Theinner mug 520 includes afirst mug body 523, asecond mug body 524 and athird mug body 525. Thefirst mug body 523 has a first inner diameter ID1. Thesecond mug body 524 has a second inner diameter ID2. The second inner diameter ID2 of thesecond mug body 524 is larger than the first inner diameter ID1 of thefirst mug body 523. Thethird coupling portion 522 is disposed on anouter wall 524E of thesecond mug body 524. Thethird mug body 525 is connected between thefirst mug body 523 and thesecond mug body 524. Thesleeve 540 includes aninner ring 547, anouter ring 548 and a supportingportion 549. Theinner ring 547 surrounds and connects with anouter wall 523E of thefirst mug body 523. Thesecond coupling portion 541 is located on a side of theouter ring 548 facing to theinner ring 547. The supportingportion 549 is connected between theinner ring 547 and theouter ring 548. The supportingportion 549 is configured to be at least partially supported by anedge 514 of theouter mug 510. - To be specific, in this embodiment, the
first coupling portion 511 of theouter mug 510 is an external thread structure, while thesecond coupling portion 541 of thesleeve 540 is an inner thread structure. As mentioned above, thethird coupling portion 522 of theinner mug 520 and thefirst coupling portion 511 of theouter mug 510 substantially have the same shape and dimensions, while thefourth coupling portion 531 of thecover 530 and thesecond coupling portion 541 of thesleeve 540 also substantially have the same shape and dimensions. Therefore, thethird coupling portion 522 of theinner mug 520 is an external thread structure, and thefourth coupling portion 131 of thecover 130 is an internal thread structure. - In practical applications, the material of the
sleeve 540 is silicon. Thefirst mug body 523 of theinner mug 520 is at least partially located within theinner ring 547 of thesleeve 540, while thesecond mug body 524 is located outside theinner ring 547 of thesleeve 540. - Furthermore, the
inner ring 547 of thesleeve 540 has afirst snapping portion 547 a. Thefirst snapping portion 547 a is disposed on a side of theinner ring 547 facing to theouter ring 548. Theouter mug 510 has asecond snapping portion 510 a. Thesecond snapping portion 510 a is disposed on aninner wall 5101 of theouter mug 510. Thefirst snapping portion 547 a of thesleeve 540 and thesecond snapping portion 510 a of theouter mug 510 are configured to snap with each other, in order to fix the relative position of theinner mug 520 and theouter mug 510. - Reference is made to
FIG. 10 .FIG. 10 is a sectional view of thethermobottle 500 ofFIG. 7 , in which theouter mug 510 is removed. In practical applications, when thefourth coupling portion 531 of thecover 530 is coupled with thethird coupling portion 522 of theinner mug 520, such that thecover 530 seals theinner mug 520, theouter mug 510 can be separated from theinner mug 520, as shown inFIG. 10 in which theouter mug 510 is removed. Therefore, the flexibility to use thethermobottle 500 can be enhanced. - Reference is made to
FIG. 11 .FIG. 11 is a sectional view of thethermobottle 500 ofFIG. 7 , in which theinner mug 520 is removed. Similarly, in practical applications, when the user thinks theouter mug 510 is more suitable to contain a particular beverage than theinner mug 520 does, the user can remove theinner mug 520 from theouter mug 510, as shown inFIG. 11 . When thefourth coupling portion 531 of thecover 530 is coupled withfirst coupling portion 511 of theouter mug 510, thecover 530 seals theouter mug 510. - In a nutshell, the user can choose to contain the beverage in either the
outer mug 510 or theinner mug 520 of thethermobottle 500 in a simple and easy manner according to the properties of the beverage or his/her personal preference. Thus, the flexibility to use thethermobottle 500 can be enhanced. Moreover, a single one of thecover 530 can be used to seal theouter mug 510 or theinner mug 520, which is convenient to the user. - In conclusion, when compared with the prior art, the aforementioned embodiments of the present disclosure have at least the following advantages:
- (1) Since the user can choose to contain the beverage in either the outer mug or the inner mug of the thermobottle in a simple and easy manner according to the properties of the beverage or his/her personal preference, the flexibility to use the thermobottle can be enhanced.
- (2) A single one of the cover can be used to seal the outer mug or the inner mug, which is convenient to the user.
- Although the present disclosure has been described in considerable detail with reference to certain embodiments thereof, other embodiments are possible. Therefore, the spirit and scope of the appended claims should not be limited to the description of the embodiments contained herein.
- It will be apparent to the person having ordinary skill in the art that various modifications and variations can be made to the structure of the present disclosure without departing from the scope or spirit of the present disclosure. In view of the foregoing, it is intended that the present disclosure cover modifications and variations of the present disclosure provided they fall within the scope of the following claims.
