FIGS. 1 and 2 show perspective views of a portablemulti-room structure 100 in accordance with an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure.Multi-room structure 100 includes a plurality of separate cabins orrooms 102 that are formed by internal walls, described in more detail hereinbelow, and external walls. Eachroom 102 can be accessed through respectiveexternal doors 104. In the exemplary embodiment ofFIG. 1 , eachroom 102 is accessed by a pair ofexternal doors 104. An advantage ofmulti-room structure 100, as well as the other multi-room structures disclosed herein, is that such structures can be manufactured in a footprint that is approximately the same size and dimension as a standard shipping container. Benefits of such configuration include that tractor-trailers are already configured to transport containers of similar size, and parts are readily available to construct such containers. Such parts can be readily modified to the unique configurations of the multi-room structures disclosed herein. A further benefit is that the transverse width of a standard shipping container, which is approximately eight feet, is suitable for a full-size mattress, which is approximately 6.25 feet long, leaving additional space for storage or other purposes. -
Multi-room structure 100 includes a plurality of exterior walls that can be formed, for example, of metal, composite material, plastics, and other materials have the strength or a high structural mechanical resistance tosupport rooms 102 and the occupants ofrooms 102.
