The detection unit is used to detect the amount of deformation of the first abutting member and then calculate and output a tension value to the display unit, so that the user can pay attention to the tension value applied to a packing strap by the packing tool at any time, so as to achieve the purpose of fast packing.

Description

    FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a packing tool, and more particularly to a packing tool capable of displaying tension.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • In general, a packing strap is used to pack goods for transportation by means of a packing tool. A conventional packing tool comprises a body. The body is provided with a strap cutting device, a strap winding device and a strap pressing device. The strap winding device is provided with a handle. One end of the packing strap is inserted into the strap pressing device, and the other end of the packing strap is inserted through the strap cutting device and wound around the strap winding device and gradually tightened by the handle. Finally, the unnecessary packing strap is cut by the strap cutting device to complete the packing operation.
  • However, during the process of tightening the packing strap by the handle, if the tension applied to the packing strap is too large, the packing strap will exert a reaction force to the strap winding device, making the handle stuck and unable to rotate. As a result, the packing tool suffers a lot of wear and tear and even malfunctions. Conversely, if the tension applied to the packing strap is insufficient, the strap winding device is unable to tighten the goods. At this time, it is required to cut the packing strap by using the strap cutting device, and then perform the packing operation again. Therefore, the packing tool cannot achieve the effect of fast packing. Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has devoted himself based on his many years of practical experiences to solve these problems.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The primary object of the present invention is to provide a packing tool capable of displaying tension, which allows the user to pay attention to the tension value applied to a packing strap by the packing tool at any time, so as to achieve the purpose of fast packing.
  • In order to achieve the above object, a packing tool capable of displaying tension is provided. The packing tool comprises a body, a detection unit, and a display unit. The body includes a strap winding device. The detection unit is connected to the strap winding unit. The detection unit is configured to detect a tension value of the strap winding device. The display unit is electrically connected to the detection unit for displaying the tension value.
  • In the packing tool provided by the present invention, the detection unit is used to detect the applied force value of the strap winding device and then calculate and output a tension value to the display unit, so that the user can pay attention to the tension value applied to the packing strap by the packing tool at any time through the display unit, so as to achieve the purpose of fast packing.

After the setting is completed, the first button 61 can be pressed to switch to the real-time display mode, so as to display the average value of a plurality of detected tension values. Next, pressing the third button 63 switches the unit and the setting of the warning values. The second button 62 and the third button 63 are used to adjust the first warning value and the second warning value, and finally return to the real-time display mode to complete the setting steps.
  • FIG. 8 and FIG. 9 are schematic views of the use of the preferred embodiment of the present invention. When in use, after a packing strap is used to pack an article, the strap pressing device 13 is used to press against the packing strap, and the packing strap is inserted through the winding mandrel 111. Next, the handle 14 is lifted up, and the first abutting member 16 is abutted against the ratchet gear 15 so as to drive the ratchet gear 15 to rotate the winding mandrel 111 and roll the packing strap. When the handle 14 is pulled back, the second abutting member 17 is abutted against the ratchet gear 15 and the first abutting member 16 is disengaged from the ratchet gear 15, so that the user can restore the angle of the applied force of the handle 14 and further tighten the strap.
  • When the packing strap is tightened to a certain degree, the tension of the packing strap will generate a reaction force on the strap winding device 11 to deform the first abutting member 16. At this time, the detection unit 20 will detect the amount of deformation of the first abutting member 16, and the processing unit 40 receives the signal from the detection unit 20 and then calculates and outputs the tension value to the display unit 50. The panel 51 is located at a relative position to the underside 141 of the handle 14, so a tension value will be displayed when the handle 14 is operated. The user can pay attention to the tension value applied to the packing strap by the packing tool 10 at any time through the panel 51 to cooperate with the following module 42. Alternatively, the peak of the tension value can be displayed through the peak module 44, and the unit of force can be changed by using the conversion module 43.
  • It is worth mentioning that the user can set the first warning value and the second warning value at any time through the input unit 60 and the warning module 45. The first warning value and the second warning value are the target values of tension. When the tension value reaches the first warning value, the first light-emitting member 71 will light up, that is, the set target value has been reached, and the strap cutting device 12 can be used to complete the packing operation. When the tension value reaches the second warning value, the second light-emitting member 72 will light up, that is, the set target value has been reached, and the strap winding device 11 should be stopped to avoid excessive tension. In this way, the user can learn whether the tension value applied to the packing strap by the packing tool 10 has reached or exceeded the target value, thereby judging the tension value of the packing strap quickly.
  • Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
