Description
- The present invention relates to a swimming goggle structure, and more particularly to a swimming goggle structure for the wearer to view widely.
- As we all know, swimming goggles are a device that is worn on the face during swimming to prevent impurities in the water from entering the wearer's eyes so as to protect the eyes, and provide a clear underwater visual field for the wearer, thereby improving the swimming experience. With the awareness of outdoor sports safety, swimming goggles have been widely used in swimming. However, the existing swimming goggles usually only have a front lens facing forward, and the side is blocked by the edge of the frame to form a blind area of visual field. As a result, the visual field is not wide enough after wearing the swimming goggles, and the wearer cannot look the side view out of the corner of his/her eyes. Besides, the dangers in the water cannot be found in time, and there are hidden dangers. Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has devoted himself based on his many years of practical experiences to solve these problems.
- In view of the drawbacks of the prior art, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a swimming goggle structure. The lens of the swimming goggle structure has a side-view lens portion, so that the wearer has a larger visible range when swimming to improve the swimming experience.
- In order to achieve the above object, the present invention adopts the following technical solutions:
- A swimming goggle structure comprises a frame. The frame includes a left frame, a right frame, and a bridge frame for connecting the left frame and the right frame. A lens is mounted to each of the left frame and the right frame. The lens includes a front-view lens portion and a side-view lens portion at one side thereof for broadening a wearer's visual field. An angle is formed between the front-view lens portion and the side-view lens portion.
- Preferably, the side-view lens portion is integrally extended from the front-view lens portion.
- Preferably, the left frame and the right frame each include a front frame portion, a side frame portion, and a temple portion. The front frame portion is located at a front side of the left frame/the right frame. The side frame portion is located between the front frame portion and the temple portion. The front-view lens portion is mounted to the front frame portion. The side-view lens portion is mounted to the side frame portion.
- Preferably, the front frame portion and the side frame portion communicate with each other.
- Preferably, a rear end of the side-view lens portion is formed with an engaging outer flange. The left frame and the right frame each have an engaging hole. The engaging hole is provided with an engaging inner flange matching the engaging outer flange. The engaging outer flange abuts against the engaging inner flange.
- Preferably, the angle is defined between an outer side of the side-view lens portion and the front-view lens portion and is greater than or equal to 90 degrees.
- Preferably, an inner side edge of each of the left frame and the right frame is formed with a receiving groove. Either side of the bridge frame is provided with a post corresponding to the receiving groove. The post is detachably inserted in the receiving groove.
- Preferably, the receiving groove includes a cylindrical groove and an opening groove communicating with the cylindrical groove. The cylindrical groove has a diameter greater than a width of the opening groove. The post includes a limiting post corresponding to the cylindrical groove and a limiting rib connected to the limiting post and corresponding to the opening groove. The limiting post is inserted into the cylindrical groove. The limiting rib is inserted into the opening groove.
- Preferably, the swimming goggle structure further comprises a strap. The strap is connected to the temple portion. The temple portion is formed with a receiving hole for insertion of the strap. A rear end of the receiving hole is provided with an engaging groove. A bottom of the engaging groove is provided with a limiting hole. Either end of the strap is provided with an engaging block matching the engaging groove. The engaging block is provided with a limiting protrusion corresponding to the limiting hole. The end of the strap is inserted into the receiving hole. The engaging block is engaged in the engaging groove. The limiting protrusion is located in the limiting hole.
- Preferably, the swimming goggle structure further comprises a pair of soft rubber pads to be attached to the wearer's face. The pair of soft rubber pads is connected to an inner edge of the frame.
- Compared with the prior art, the present invention has obvious advantages and beneficial effects. Specifically, it can be known from the foregoing technical solutions. The lens of the swimming goggle structure is provided with the side-view lens portion for the wearer to observe the side view. Therefore, the visual field of the swimming goggles is more broadened, and the wearer can see a wider range when swimming, thereby improving the swimming experience. In addition, the wearer can know the dangerous situation in the water in time through the side-view lens portion, so as to avoid dangers in time and improve the safety of swimming.
- Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The front side wall of the front-view lens portion 21 is flush with the front side wall of thefront frame portion 14 to prevent the edge and corner of the front-view lens portion 21 from protruding and scratching the wearer. The side-view lens portion 22 is mounted to theside frame portion 15. The wearer can observe the left, right, up and down views in the water out of the corner of his/her eyes through the side-view lens portion 22. Thelens 20 is fully fixed to theframe 10 under the limiting effect of thefront frame portion 14 and the cooperation of the engagingouter flange 221 and the engaginginner flange 181. - The
strap 30 is connected to thetemple portions 16 on both sides of theframe 10. Specifically, eachtemple portion 16 is formed with a receivinghole 161 for insertion of thestrap 30. The rear side wall of the receivinghole 161 is provided with an engaginggroove 162. The bottom of the engaginggroove 162 is provided with a limitinghole 163. Either end of thestrap 30 is provided with an engagingblock 31 matching the engaginggroove 162. The engagingblock 31 is provided with a limitingprotrusion 32 corresponding to the limitinghole 163. After the end of thestrap 30 is inserted into the receivinghole 161, the engagingblock 31 is engaged in the engaginggroove 162 and the limitingprotrusion 32 is located in the limitinghole 163, so that the end of thestrap 30 and the end of theframe 10 are locked to each other. Thestrap 30 is an elastic strap, and may be made of a rope or other materials. - The pair of
soft rubber pads 40 is connected to the inner edge of theframe 10. After the swimmer wears the swimming goggles, the pair ofsoft rubber pads 40 will be attached to the wearer's face so as to seal the water and prevent water from entering through the gap between the swimming goggles and the wearer's face. - The feature of the present invention is that the lens of the swimming goggle structure is provided with the side-view lens portion for the wearer to observe the side view.
- Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
