  • FIELD OF THE INVENTION
  • The present invention relates a method and device for packaging and storing newsprint, packing paper or wrapping paper made of different sizes in one package.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • Newsprint, packing paper or wrapping paper is used to provide cushioning for products while moving or in storage. The papers are also used for craft projects.
  • Packing paper purchases have increased in recent years as people do not have as many printed newspapers in their home that they can recycle and use to cushion products because sales of printed newspapers have declined. Packing paper or newsprint is sold in clean sheets made from either recycled or virgin paper. Newsprint is primarily sold in a kraft or brown color, in sheets ranging from twelve inches to forty inches wide by twelve inches to forty inches in length.
  • The prior art teaches packaging for pre-cut sheets of the same length and same width placed on top of each other in the same box. The prior art teaches packaging for pre-cut sheets of a uniform length and uniform width placed on top of each other in the same box. The prior art has provided a roll of pre-cut sheets of the same length and same width in a single cylindrical shape. The prior art has provided a roll of pre-cut sheets of a uniform length and uniform width in a single cylindrical shape. The prior art teaches shrink-wrapping each cylindrical shape of newsprint separately using polyethylene film. The prior art teaches rolling pre-cut sheets of the same length and same width into multiple cylindrical shapes and placing them in the same box. The prior art teaches rolling pre-cut sheets of a uniform length and uniform width into multiple cylindrical shapes and placing them in the same box.
  • The prior art has not provided packaging for storing and moving newsprint and packing paper of different sizes, lengths and widths in one packaging unit.
