- As shown in
FIG. 1 andFIG. 2 , aweapon light 100 according to an embodiment of the present invention includes alight body 10 and aclamping mechanism 30 connected onto thelight body 10. - The
clamping mechanism 30 is provided with aclamping groove 40 for clamping and fixing a weapon, so as to connect thelight body 10 onto the weapon, assisting in lighting in a dark environment and facilitating a user to aim and shoot. Theclamping mechanism 30 of theweapon light 100 of the present invention may move between a clamping position and an unclamping position to adjust the width of theclamping groove 40. As shown inFIG. 7 , when theclamping mechanism 30 is in the clamping position, the width L1 of theclamping groove 40 is relatively small, so that it is possible to maintain a stable connection with the weapon and ensure that a light emitting direction of thelight body 10 is consistent with a direction of a barrel. As shown inFIG. 8 , when theclamping mechanism 30 is in the unclamping position, the width L2 of theclamping groove 40 is relatively large, that is, L2>L1, so that it is possible to conveniently place the weapon in theclamping groove 40 or take it away by theclamping groove 40, which makes theweapon light 100 and the weapon be more conveniently disassembled or assembled and the connection between theweapon light 100 and the weapon stable after fitting. - With reference to
FIG. 3 andFIG. 4 , thelight body 10 shown includes ahousing 12, apower supply 14 disposed within thehousing 12, and alight source 16 electrically connected with thepower supply 14. - The
light source 16 may be any device which is energized to emit light, such as an LED and the like, which emit visible light for auxiliary illumination when electrically connected with thepower supply 14. Thepower supply 14 may be a storage battery, a rechargeable battery and the like. The power supply may be a cylindrical battery, a block battery, and the like in terms of the structure. There is a single battery or there are multiple batteries. When there are multiple batteries, they may be arranged in a front-rear direction or a left-right direction or an up-down direction. In the illustrated embodiment, thehousing 12 is of a substantially cylindrical structure, and aspace 120 is formed inside thehousing 12 for mounting thelight source 16 and thepower supply 14. Thelight source 16 is disposed near a front end of thehousing 12. Thepower supply 14 includes two cylindrical batteries which are arranged in thehousing 12 side by side in a left-right direction and are electrically connected with thelight source 16 byelectrodes 18 within thehousing 12. Preferably, a light-transmittingcover 20 is connected to a front end of thehousing 12, and the light-transmittingcover 20 may be made of glass, acrylic, and the like, which ensures that the light from thelight source 16 may be all projected outwards while sealing the front end of thehousing 12. In this embodiment, the light-transmittingcover 20 is of a flat sheet structure, which plays roles in sealing and light transmission. In other embodiments, the light-transmittingcover 20 may have a certain radian to play a role in condensing or diverging light. - A
rear cover 24 is rotatably connected to a tail end of thehousing 12 by means of apivot 22, and theelectrode 18 is arranged at an inner side of therear cover 24. When therear cover 24 is closed, theelectrode 18 is in contact and connection with thepower supply 14, thepower supply 14 is connected with a power supply circuit of thelight source 16, and thelight source 16 may produce light illumination. On the contrary, when thepower supply 14 needs to be taken out, for example, when it is necessary to replace the battery if the battery power is insufficient or the power supply is not used for a long time, therear cover 24 is opened to separate theelectrode 18 from thepower supply 14 and the power supply circuit of thepower supply 14 to thelight source 16 is disconnected. As shown inFIG. 2 , a clampingblock 26 is formed on a rear end of therear cover 24 in a protruding manner, and aclamping hook 28 is connected onto thehousing 12. When therear cover 24 is rotated to be closed with thehousing 12, the clampinghook 28 is hooked and buckled on the clampingblock 26 to keep therear cover 24 and thehousing 12 in a closed state, ensuring that thepower supply 14 is stably electrically connected with thelight source 16. In the illustrated embodiment, a bottom portion of therear cover 24 is hinged with thehousing 12, and the clampingblock 26 is disposed on a top portion of therear cover 24. Preferably, the clampinghook 28 is rotatably connected with thehousing 12. When therear cover 24 is closed, the clampinghook 28 is rotated to be horizontal, and the clampinghook 28 and the clampingblock 26 are buckled to fixedly connect therear cover 24 with thehousing 12. - As shown by a dotted line in
FIG. 4 , when therear cover 24 needs to be opened, for example, when the battery needs to be taken out or replaced, the clampinghook 28 is rotated to be upright or inclined to separate it from the clampingblock 26, which brings the convenience for the operation. It should be understood that the clampinghook 28 may be disposed on therear cover 24, and correspondingly, a clampingblock 26 may be disposed on thehousing 12. In addition, therear cover 24 and thehousing 12 may be connected in other ways, such as screwing, tight fitting, and the like, which are not limited to specific embodiments. - With reference to
FIG. 5 andFIG. 6 , theclamping mechanism 30 includes afirst clamping member 32 and asecond clamping member 34 arranged at an interval, and a drivingmember 36 driving the first clampingmember 32 and thesecond clamping member 34 to move relative to each other. - Both the first clamping
member 32 and thesecond clamping member 34 are substantially of a strip structure and are arranged in parallel to a lengthwise direction or an axial direction of thelight body 10. Preferably, the first clampingmember 32 and thesecond clamping member 34 are parallel, and the clampinggroove 40 for clamping the weapon is formed between the first clampingmember 32 and thesecond clamping member 34. In this embodiment, the first clampingmember 32 is a fixed member, which is integrally connected with thehousing 12 of thelight body 10. In other implementations, the first clampingmember 32 may be fixedly connected onto thehousing 12 of thelight body 10 by a fixing member such as a screw after being individually formed. Thesecond clamping member 34 is a movable member and is slidably disposed on thehousing 12. Correspondingly, thehousing 12 is provided with a slidinggroove 124 for thesecond clamping member 34 to move, and thesecond clamping member 34 is moved towards or away from the first clampingmember 32 in a left-right direction or a widthwise direction of thelight body 10 under an action of the drivingmember 36. - The driving
member 36 includes a drivingrod 360 and a drivingwrench 362 rotatably connected with the drivingrod 360. The drivingwrench 362 is arranged on an outer side of the first clampingmember 32 to facilitate the operation of the user. An outer end of the drivingrod 360 is connected with the drivingwrench 362 and an inner end thereof is in transmission connection with thesecond clamping member 34 after passing through the first clampingmember 32, so that thesecond clamping member 34 is driven to move by operating the drivingwrench 362. The drivingwrench 362 includes arotating portion 363 and an operatingportion 364 extending outwards from the rotatingportion 363. The rotatingportion 363 is pivotally connected to the outer end of the drivingrod 360 by means of ashaft 366. Theshaft 366 is eccentrically arranged with respect to therotating portion 363, so that when therotating portion 363 rotates around theshaft 366, a separation distance between theshaft 366 and the first clampingmember 32 may be changed; and further thesecond clamping member 34 is driven to move relative to the first clampingmember 32, so that the width of the clampinggroove 40 between the first clampingmember 32 and thesecond clamping member 34 is changed. - In the illustrated embodiment, the driving
rod 360 extends laterally in a left-right direction and is arranged perpendicular to the first clampingmember 32 and thesecond clamping member 34, theshaft 366 is arranged in a vertical direction, and an outer peripheral surface of therotating portion 363 of the drivingwrench 362 includes an arc-shapedsurface 368 and aflat surface 369. The arc-shapedsurface 368 is preferably a semi-cylindrical surface, and theflat surface 369 is tangent and smoothly transitions to the arc-shapedsurface 368. The operatingportion 364 extends obliquely outwards from theflat surface 369. Preferably,anti-slip ribs 365 are formed on the operatingportion 364. As shown inFIG. 7 , in a normal state, the drivingwrench 362 is substantially parallel to the first clampingmember 32, theflat surface 369 of therotating portion 363 abuts against an outer wall surface of the first clampingmember 32, and a relatively large separation distance D1 is formed between theshaft 366 and the first clampingmember 32. - As shown in
FIG. 8 , when the drivingwrench 362 is rotated 90 degrees clockwise in a certain direction, the drivingwrench 362 is substantially perpendicular to the first clampingmember 32, and the arc-shapedsurface 368 of therotating portion 363 abuts against the outer wall surface of the first clampingmember 32, and a relatively small separation distance D2 is formed between theshaft 366 and the first clampingmember 32, that is, D2<D1. In contrast, theflat surface 369 of therotating portion 363 abuts against the first clampingmember 32, and a surface contact is formed between theflat surface 369 and the first clampingmember 32, wherein the surface contact is stable in form and is kept for a long time. When there is no acting force to rotate the drivingwrench 362 in an opposite direction, the rotatingportion 363 does not rotate by itself. The arc-shapedsurface 368 of therotating portion 363 abuts against the first clampingmember 32, and a line contact is formed between the arc-shapedsurface 368 and the first clampingmember 32. The arc-shapedsurface 368 may be rotated by a small acting force, which is an intermediate form and brings the convenience for subsequent resetting. - Preferably,
elastic members 38, such as springs, are provided between an inner side of thesecond clamping member 34 and thehousing 12. In this embodiment, theelastic members 38 are arranged in pairs, and are respectively arranged near two ends of thesecond clamping member 34 to ensure that thesecond clamping member 34 is evenly stressed. Preferably, guidingcolumns 342 extend vertically from an inner side of thesecond clamping member 34, and correspondingly, thehousing 12 is provided with guidingholes 122. The guidingcolumns 342 are inserted into the guidingholes 122 to guide a movement of thesecond clamping member 34 relative to the first clampingmember 32. Preferably, theelastic members 38 are sleeved on the guidingcolumns 342, one ends of theelastic members 38 abut against or are connected to thesecond clamping member 34 and the other ends thereof abut against or connected to thehousing 12. As shown inFIG. 7 , in a normal state, theelastic members 38 are compressed and form an outward bias to thesecond clamping member 34, that is, forms a bias away from the first clampingmember 32. - When the
weapon light 100 of the present invention fits with a weapon, an action force is applied to the drivingwrench 362 to make it rotate outwards, for example, rotate clockwise about 90 degrees as shown. At this time, as shown inFIG. 8 , since therotating portion 363 is eccentrically connected with theshaft 366, the rotatingportion 363 rotates to cause theshaft 366 to move towards the first clampingmember 32. A distance between theshaft 366 and the first clampingmember 32 is reduced to D2. Under an action of theelastic members 38, the rotatingportion 363 rotates to cause thesecond clamping member 34, the drivingrod 360 and the drivingwrench 362 to move outwards relative to the first clampingmember 32, so that the arc-shapedsurface 368 of therotating portion 363 always keeps abutting against the first clampingmember 32. Due to a movement of thesecond clamping member 34, the width of the clampinggroove 40 between the first clampingmember 32 and thesecond clamping member 34 is increased to L2. As such, the weapon may be easily inserted into the widened clampinggroove 40. - After the weapon is placed in the clamping
groove 40, an action force is applied again to the operatingportion 364 of the drivingwrench 362 to make it rotate in an opposite direction, for example, rotate counterclockwise about 90 degrees. At this time, as shown inFIG. 7 , the drivingwrench 362 returns to a position in parallel to the first clampingmember 32, aflat surface 369 of therotating portion 363 abuts against the first clampingmember 32, the rotatingportion 363 rotates to cause theshaft 366 to move away from the first clampingmember 32, and a distance between theshaft 366 and the first clampingmember 32 is increased to D1. Meanwhile, theshaft 366 drives thesecond clamping member 34 by means of the drivingrod 360 to move towards the first clampingmember 32 and compress theelastic members 38 again, so that theentire clamping mechanism 30 is reset. Due to the movement of thesecond clamping member 34, the width of the clampinggroove 40 between thesecond clamping member 32 and the first clampingmember 32 is reduced to L1, and the weapon in the clampinggroove 40 is clamped, the stable connection between theweapon light 100 and the weapon is ensured, and the consistency of the light emitting direction of theweapon light 100 with the direction of the barrel is guaranteed. - When no
weapon light 100 is needed on the weapon, it is necessary to rotate the drivingwrench 362 again to a position as shown inFIG. 8 , so as to increase the width of the clampinggroove 40 between the first clampingmember 32 and thesecond clamping member 34 to L2, so that the weapon may be easily taken away by means of theenlarged clamping groove 40, and thus theweapon light 100 of the present invention and the weapon are extremely convenient to disassemble and assemble. Meanwhile, it is possible to ensure that theweapon light 100 is tightly and stably connected with the weapon by reducing the width of the clampinggroove 40 after the weapon is assembled, to guarantee that the light emitting direction of theweapon light 100 is consistent with the direction of the barrel, and to prevent from affecting the aiming due to the shaking of theweapon light 100. In addition, the width of the clampinggroove 40 is changed by the rotation of the drivingwrench 362, and the arc-shapedsurface 368 of the drivingwrench 362 may minimize the friction during the rotation to make the operation more labor-saving. By means of theflat surface 369 of the drivingwrench 362 and the first clampingmember 32, the stability during clamping of the weapon is effectively guaranteed, and theweapon light 100 is prevented from loosening by automatic rotation of the drivingwrench 362 due to slight touching or shaking to affect the use of the weapon. - Preferably, a
first slot 320 is formed in an inner wall surface of the first clampingmember 32, that is, a wall surface facing thesecond clamping member 34. Correspondingly, asecond slot 340 is formed in an inner wall surface of thesecond clamping member 34, that is, a wall surface facing the first clampingmember 32. Thefirst slot 320 and thesecond slot 340 extend in parallel to a lengthwise direction of thelight body 10 and penetrate through the first clampingmember 32 and thesecond clamping member 34, respectively, so that the weapon may be inserted into thefirst slot 320 and thesecond slot 340 in the lengthwise direction of thelight body 10. Due to the arrangement of thefirst slot 320 and thesecond slot 340, the weapon may be initially positioned during the fitting, and may not be deviated or misaligned during the clamping. In addition, the weapon is limited in an up-down direction to ensure the accuracy and the stability of the position of the weapon after the fitting. It should be noted that when thefirst slot 320 and thesecond slot 340 are provided, the width of the clampinggroove 40 refers to a width between thefirst slot 320 and thesecond slot 340. - Preferably, the
clamping mechanism 30 further includes an adjustingmember 39. In this embodiment, the adjustingmember 39 is a nut, and the drivingrod 360 is a screw rod. A screwing length of the nut and the screw is used to adjust the width of the clampinggroove 40 between the first clampingmember 32 and thesecond clamping member 34. As shown inFIG. 5 andFIG. 6 , the adjustingmember 39 is arranged at a center of thesecond clamping member 34 in a penetrating manner and is positioned between twoelastic members 38. An inner end of the drivingrod 360 is screwed within the adjustingmember 39, and a head of the adjustingmember 39 protrudes from an outer side of thesecond clamping member 34 to facilitate the operation of the user. When the adjustingmember 39 is rotated outwards, the screwing length of the adjustingmember 39 and the drivingrod 360 is shortened, which increases the total length of the drivingrod 360 and the adjustingmember 39. On the contrary, when the adjustingmember 39 is rotated inwards, the screwing length of the adjustingmember 39 and the drivingrod 360 is increased, which reduces the total length of the adjustingmember 39 and the drivingrod 360. - With reference to
FIG. 8 , when the adjustingmember 39 is rotated outwards, thesecond clamping member 34 moves outwards relative to thehousing 12 under an action of theelastic members 38, so that the clampinggroove 40 between the first clampingmember 32 and thesecond clamping member 34 is enlarged to L10 in a normal state to adapt to a weapon with a larger size. Similarly, the width of the clampinggroove 40 may be further increased by rotating the drivingwrench 362, so that the weapon with the larger size may be conveniently put into the clampinggroove 40. After the weapon with the larger size is inserted, the width of the clampinggroove 40 may be returned to L10 by reversely rotating the drivingwrench 362, so that the weapon is clamped. It should be understood that the adjustingmember 39 may be rotated inwards to drive thesecond clamping member 34 to move inwards relative to thehousing 12 and further compress theelastic members 38, so that the width of the clamping groove between the first clampingmember 32 and thesecond clamping member 34 is smaller in the normal state to adapt to a weapon with a smaller size. In this way, theweapon light 100 of the present invention may match weapons of different specifications, and is universal. - In the foregoing embodiment of the
weapon light 100 of the present invention, when thesecond clamping member 34 moves towards the first clampingmember 32, theelastic members 38 are compressed, and theelastic members 38 drive thesecond clamping member 34 to move away from the first clamping member. 32. It should be understood that when thesecond clamping member 34 moves towards the first clampingmember 32, theelastic members 38 are stretched, and theelastic members 38 drives thesecond clamping member 34 to move away from the first clampingmember 32. Alternatively, when thesecond clamping member 34 moves away from the first clampingmember 32, theelastic members 38 are compressed or stretched, and theelastic members 38 drive thesecond clamping member 34 to move towards the first clampingmember 32. In addition, the shape and the size of the drivingwrench 362 may be set below as required: when the drivingwrench 362 is rotated to its arc-shapedsurface 368 to abut against the first clampingmember 32, the distance between theshaft 366 and the first clampingmember 32 is increased and further the width of the clampinggroove 40 is reduced; and when theflat surface 369 of the drivingwrench 362 abuts against the first clampingmember 32, the distance between theshaft 366 and the first clampingmember 32 is reduced and further the width of the clampinggroove 40 is increased. - It should be noted that the present invention is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiments. According to the inventive spirit of the present invention, those skilled in the art may make other variations. These variations made according to the inventive spirit of the present invention should all be included in the scope of protection of the present invention.
