Abstract
A belt buckle has a main body, a rotatable shaft assembly, an elastic member and a controlling member. The main body has a front piece and two side pieces paired and connected with each other. A shaft rod and a stopping portion and an arced edge are formed on the side piece. The elastic member is provided inside the rotatable shaft assembly and is pivoted together on the shaft rod. The controlling member uses its controlling ends to be pivoted on the shaft rod. When the toothed portion is pushed to rotate the rotatable shaft assembly, the engaging bar of the rotatable shaft assembly can slide along the arced edge of the side piece. At this time, the controlling end of the controlling member is not linked by the engaging bar, the controlling member can be fixed in place when the belt is penetrated.

FIG. 1 toFIG. 4 . The separatingmember 33 of theelastic member 30 is sandwiched between thefirst spring 31 and thesecond spring 32. Theelastic member 30 is installed in the upper rotatingmember 21 and the lower rotatingmember 22 of therotatable shaft assembly 20, such that the firstelastic arm 311 of thefirst spring 31 elastically presses thefirst stopping portion 213 of the upper rotatingmember 21, and the secondelastic arm 321 of thesecond spring 32 presses thesecond stopping portion 222 of the lower rotatingmember 22. The relative compressions applied on the separatingmember 33 by thefirst spring 31 and thesecond spring 32 allows therotatable shaft assembly 20 to have suitable and controllable elasticity, then the combination of theelastic member 30 and therotatable shaft assembly 20 is disposed between the twoside piece 12 of themain body 10, and theshaft rod 15 is passed through theshaft hole 121 of theside piece 12, the first pivotingend 211 of the upper rotatingmember 21, the second pivotingend 221 of the lower rotatingmember 22, thefirst spring 31, the separatingmember 33 and thesecond spring 32. Therefore, therotatable shaft assembly 20 and theelastic member 30 are passed through themain body 10, thetoothed portion 212 the upper rotatingmember 21 is turned toward to thefront piece 11 of thebelt buckle 10, and theengaging bar 223 of the lower rotatingmember 22 pushes against the stoppingportion 122 of theside piece 12. Finally, the controllingmember 40 is placed on thefront piece 11 of thebelt buckle 10, theshaft rod 15 is passed through the two controllingends 41 of the controllingmember 40, and the connectingportion 16 of themain body 10 is connected to thebelt 17. - For the effect of actual use, please refer to
FIG. 2 toFIG. 7 . Before been used, the firstelastic arm 311 of thefirst spring 31 elastically pushes against thefirst stopping portion 213 of the upper rotatingmember 21, and the secondelastic arm 321 of thesecond spring 32 elastically pushes against thesecond stopping portion 222 of the lower rotatingmember 22. Thefirst spring 31 and thesecond spring 32 are squeezed in the middle of the separatingmember 33 together, to form the relative elastic force for the firstelastic arm 311 and the secondelastic arm 321, thetoothed portion 212 of the upper rotatingmember 21 is swung toward thefront piece 11 of themain body 10, and theengaging bar 223 of the lower rotatingmember 22 is pressed against the stoppingportion 122 of theside piece 12. Meanwhile, the upper rotatingmember 21 is blocked by the lower rotatingmember 22 to limit the upper edge of thetoothed portion 212. Furthermore, when thebelt 17 is passed through thefront opening 13 of themain body 10 and pushes thetoothed portion 212 to rotate towards to therear opening 14 against the spring force of thefirst spring 31 and push away thetoothed portion 212 to rotate the lower rotatingmember 22 synchronously, so that the engagingbar 223 slides thearced edge 123 of theside piece 12 and thebelt 17 can be smoothly passed out of therear opening 14, and then thebelt 17 is locked by thetoothed portion 212 to form a reverse bite. Moreover, when thebelt 17 is passed through themain body 10, thetoothed portion 212 is pushed to rotate the upper rotatingmember 21, the engagingbar 223 slides along the arcededge 123 of theside piece 12, while therotatable shaft assembly 20 and theelastic member 30 are rotating, the controlling end 401 of the controllingmember 40 is not affected by the engagingbar 223. Therefore, the controllingmember 40 holds still when thebelt 17 is passed, which allows thebelt 17 to be passed easily. Alternatively, when thebelt 17 needs to be removed, the controllingmember 40 is pushed to rotate around theshaft rod 15 and thecontrolling end 41 pushes the engagingbar 223 of therotatable shaft assembly 20, thereby simultaneously thetoothed portion 212 of the upper rotatingmember 21 is pushed open to releases thetoothed portion 212 from thebelt 17, and thebelt 17 can be easily pulled away from themain body 10. - With the structure of the above specific embodiment, the following benefits can also be obtained: the first
elastic arm 311 of thefirst spring 31 elastically pushes on the first stoppingportion 213 of the upper rotatingmember 21, the secondelastic arm 321 of thesecond spring 32 elastically pushes against the second stoppingportion 222 of the lower rotatingmember 22, and thefirst spring 31 and thesecond spring 32 sandwich the separatingmember 33 in-between to provide elastic force to the firstelastic arm 311 and the second in-elastic arm 321. Since thefirst spring 31 is stronger than thesecond spring 32, the firstelastic arm 311 provides a stronger thrust on the upper rotatingmember 21, theelastic member 30 assembled in therotatable shaft assembly 20 is capable of generating sufficient thrust force. Therefore, the overall structure is simplified, and theelastic member 30 is effectively protected for more stable movement which improves its durability. - Although the present invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of invention as hereinafter claimed.
