  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 4 thereof, a new seating arrangement embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
  • As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 4, the collapsible stool and cover assembly 10 generally comprises a stool 12 comprising a pair of stool legs 14 comprising a first 16 and a second stool leg 18. Each of the pair of stool legs 14 is a squared U-shape comprising a pair of arms 20 and a medial portion 22 between the pair of arms 20. A set of stool feet 24 is coupled to the pair of arms 20 of each of the pair of stool legs 14. A pair of stool axles 26 is coupled to the pair of stool legs 14. The pair of stool axles 26 pivotably joins the pair of arms 20 of the first stool leg 16 to the pair of arms 20 of the second stool leg 18 in a crossed position. A stool sling 28 is coupled to the pair of stool legs 14. The stool sling 28 is coupled around, and extends between, the medial portion 22 of each of the first 16 and the second stool leg 18. The stool sling 28 is foldable and limits the range of motion of the pair of stool legs 14 between an expanded position 30 with the stool sling 28 taut and an alternative folded position 32 with the medial portion 22 of the first stool leg 16 adjacent the medial portion 22 of the second stool leg 18. The pair of arms 20 of the first stool leg 16 may be substantially perpendicular to the pair of arms 20 of the second stool leg 18 in the expanded position 30.
  • A shade cover 34 comprises a pair of horizontal supports 36. The pair of supports 36 comprises a front support 38 and a back support 40. Each of the pair of supports 36 comprises a first half 42 and a second half 44. A pair of support hinges 46 is coupled between the first half 42 and the second half 44 of the pair of supports 36. Each of the support hinges 46 comprises a first hinge portion 48 fixedly coupled to the first half 42, a second hinge portion 50 fixedly coupled to the second half 44, and an obround medial hinge portion 52 pivotably coupled to each of the first hinge portion 48 and the second hinge portion 50. The support hinges 46 allow the first half 42 and the second half 44 to fold without interfering. A cover sling 54 is coupled to the pair of horizontal supports 36. The cover sling 54 is coupled around, and extends between, the front support 38 and the back support 40. The cover sling 54 has a front cutout 56 and a back cutout 58 exposing the pair of support hinges 46. The front cutout 56 and the back cutout 58 allow the support hinges 46 to bend.
  • A set of leg hinges 60 is coupled to the pair of supports 36. Each of the set of leg hinges 60 has a rounded end 62 pivotably coupled to a distal end 64 of the first half 42 and the second half 44 of each of the pair of supports 36 and a flat end 66. A set of cover legs 68 is coupled to the set of leg hinges 60. Each of the set of cover legs 68 has a lower portion 70 and an upper portion 72.
