Abstract
Description
- The invention belongs to the field of technology regarding fitness equipment. More specifically, it is about a pull-up device capable of training finger grip force.
- With the advancement of society and the improvement of living standards, more and more people are going to the gym to exercise with indoor fitness equipment. At the same time, more and more people are into outdoor extreme sports, such as rock climbing, etc. The indoor sports or the outdoor sports are attractive for people as they can train the body, release stress, and keep people more healthy and happy.
- Nowadays, there are many kinds of fitness equipment or facilities for the pull-ups, which are relatively simple, refer to the structure shown in
FIG. 1 andFIG. 2 in the Attached Figures of Specification, and a crossbar is supported by the bracket to a certain height, and the human body can do pull-ups by gripping the crossbar; - Each of our fingers except the thumb generally has three sections. In this application, the section that is connected to the palm is called the first knuckle, the middle section is called the second knuckle, and the outermost section is the third knuckle. As shown in
FIG. 1 andFIG. 2 , when we exercise with the pull-up device, the palm grasps the crossbar, and the arm strength, muscle strength between the first knuckle and the palm can be trained, the second knuckle and the third knuckle are mainly used as an auxiliary grip function, and their exercise effect on the grip force is not strong; - Existing pull-up devices are unable to provide adequate exercise for the muscle connecting the third knuckle and the second knuckle, and the muscle connecting the second knuckle and the first knuckle; and the muscles of the said knuckles is the key of gripping exercise and is a very important physical element in sports such as rock climbing.
- To sum up, based on the existing technology, either the pull-up fitness equipment shown in
FIG. 1 andFIG. 2 , or other existing fitness equipment for the pull-ups are only for exercise of the muscle strength of the arm.—arm strength, and slightly exercise the grip of the first knuckle and the palm, but the strength of the second knuckle and the third knuckle muscle of the finger is not trained specifically; and some extreme sports such as rock climbing, not only require strong arm strength, but also strong grip force of the fingers, and these even related to the safety of climbing. Therefore, it is very necessary to design a pull-up device capable of training finger grip force to be used for the safety grip force exercise of climbers and fitness enthusiasts. It will be also very marketable. - In order to overcome the deficiencies of the existing technology, the invention provides a pull-up device that can train finger grip force, and it can train the grip force of the finger while training the arm strength by pull-ups.
- The technical solution adopted by the invention to solve the technical problem thereof is:
- It is a pull-up device capable of training finger grip force. It is equipped with bracket and the left and right climbing components. Meanwhile, the climbing component is equipped with knuckle receiving portion to permit the fingers to hold the knuckle receiving portion for pull-ups.
- The above-mentioned technical solution refers to a pull-up device capable of training finger grip force. It is equipped with bracket to fix the left and right climbing components in the air. Meanwhile, the climbing component is equipped with knuckle receiving portion to permit the fingers to hold the knuckle receiving portion for pull-ups. With the setting of the climbing component, we no longer hold the crossbar, but just grip the climbing component by the fingers when we do pull-ups. Thus, the grip force of the knuckle muscles is exercised as well as the arm strength. The main embodiment: the original crossbar grip is mainly for exercise of arm strength, and the grip force of the first knuckle and muscles of the palm. Exercises of the muscle grip force on the first knuckle and the second knuckle are incidental to the gripping, without weight training specifically. With the climbing components, as the weight of the human body specifically use the fingers to firmly hold the climbing components, so it is mainly for exercise of the arm strength, the muscle grip force of the first knuckle and the second knuckle, while the exercises of the first knuckle and muscles of the palm are incidental.
- It should be noted that the structure on the ground supported by the bracket is also various, and it may be directly supported on the ground or indirectly supported on the ground by suspension mounting. The role of the bracket is to hang the climbing component in the air and fix it. It is permitted to use 1 bracket to fix two climbing components at the same time, or use 2 brackets to fix two climbing components respectively; both methods belong to the protection scope of this application.
- In some implementations, the climbing component is round, and the knuckle receiving portion is set in the sunken location on outer edge of the round climbing component. When you grip, 5 fingers will bend, and the whole hand will form a round arc with the palm. The round climbing component has a concave shape adapted to the shape of the finger on the outer edge, which is more suitable for the mechanical structure of our fingers. Of course, climbing component of other structures and shapes may be used in other implementations. Of course, climbing component of other structures or shapes could be adopted in other implementations.
- In some implementations, a cushion is provided in the said sunken location for more comfortable gripping. It aims to enhance comfort degree without wearing or scratching your fingers.
- In some implementations, two screw holes are set in the middle of the said climbing component for fixed connection with the bracket. The climbing component can also be fixed with other structures and brackets.
- In some implementations, the said bracket consists of a left bracket upright tube, a right bracket upright tube and an upper bracket crossbar, wherein the upper ends of the left and right bracket upright tubes extend forward agley, and upper bracket crossbar is set in the rear side of the climbing component to adapt the sunken location; the two screw holes are located in upper bracket crossbar to adapt the upper and lower sides of the sunken location; via two screw holes, the left and right climbing components can be fixed and connected to the upper ends of the left and right bracket upright tubes. The left end of the upper bracket crossbar is located in the sunken location of the upper bracket crossbar on the left climbing component, and it is fixed between left climbing component and left bracket upright tube's upper end via connection of the left climbing component and the upper end of the left bracket. The right end of the upper bracket crossbar is located in the sunken location of the upper bracket crossbar on the right climbing component, and it is fixed between right climbing component and right bracket upright tube's upper end via connection of the right climbing component and the upper end of the right bracket upright tube. In this way, the structure is more compact and it is beautiful structurally. Climbing component can be connected in other locations in other implementations.
