- The present application relates to a cosmetic container.
- In general, cosmetics are not limited to articles that beautify appearance, but are general terms for articles for improving health while beautifying the appearance by cleaning body or providing nutrients to skin and hair.
- The cosmetics can be classified as follows: cleansing cosmetics for removing sebum, metabolites and pollutants on skin surface; basic cosmetics for providing skin with appropriate amounts of moisture and oil; makeup cosmetics for showing color sense; hair cosmetics for protecting hair and providing nutrition while removing dirt from the hair or scalp; and perfumes that dissolve fragrances in alcohol, etc. to give out fragrance to other people.
- Although there are many kinds of cosmetics, the most important factor in determining the type of the cosmetics container is first whether the cosmetics are liquid or solid or powder, and second the cosmetic container with different designs depends on how they are used.
- As an example, there are sunscreen products for protecting the skin, and makeup cosmetics such as lipsticks and foundation creams for beauty. Generally, in order to facilitate the storage and use, widely used cosmetics materials are made into rod-shaped cosmetics containing solid materials in the container.
- The rod-shaped cosmetic container includes a main body providing a space for holding cosmetic materials, and a detachable lid for protecting the materials held in the main body. The held materials are raised and lowered to be pushed out of the main body or held in the main body according to needs.

FIG. 2 is a view showing a cosmetic container according to an embodiment of the present application. - Referring to
FIG. 2 , a cosmetic container comprises: a main body 100, for providing a space for holdingmaterials 200; and aknob member 300, arranged on one side of the main body 100 and used for raising or lowering the materials; wherein theknob member 300 is configured to be capable of raising and lowering. - The main body 100 may comprise: a
lower body 110, for holding the materials; and anupper body 130, arranged to be capable of combining with thelower body 110. - The
knob member 300 may rotate. More specifically, thematerials 200 raises when theknob member 300 rotates in a first direction, and thematerials 200 lowers when theknob member 300 rotates in a second direction. - Therefore, when a user wants to use the
materials 200 contained in the cosmetic container according to an embodiment of the present application, theknob member 300 is rotated in the first direction to raise thematerials 200. After using raisedmaterials 200, the knob member is rotated in the second direction to lower thematerials 200. - On one hand, the
knob member 300 may be disposed on one side of thelower body 110, and more specifically, may be disposed on a bottom surface of thelower body 110. - As described above, the
knob member 300 may be configured to be capable of raising and lowering. - When the user uses the materials contained in the cosmetic container, the
knob member 300 may rotate while rising to a state protruding from thelower body 110. - After the user has used the materials contained in the cosmetic container, the

When the pressure is applied for the first time, theknob member 300 raises in a manner protruding from thelower body 110, and when pressure is applied again, theknob member 300 lowers to insert inside thelower body 110. - However, this is only an example for convenience of explanation. The
knob member 300 according to an embodiment of the present application only needs to protrude from thelower body 110 when in use, and insert into thelower body 110 after use. The user can perform various deformations on the raising and lowering action of theknob member 300 according to needs, which is not intended to limit the scope of the present application. - On the one hand, the user can understand the rotation of the
knob member 300 and the directions of raising and lowering the materials according to theinstructor 113 disposed on at least one side of the main body and used to instruct the direction of movement of theknob member 300. -
FIG. 4 is a view showing a cosmetic container according to another embodiment of the present application. - Referring to
FIG. 4 , theupper body 130 of the cosmetic container according to another embodiment of the present application may include: an upper cover portion 313; apowder puff portion 133 for holding a powder puff; and a connectingportion 135 with one end detachable from thepowder puff portion 133 and another end detachable from thelower body 110. - The
powder puff portion 133 has the following effects: applying thematerials 200 to the skin of the user, and then applying pressure on the materials applied to the skin, thereby enabling more uniform application. - More specifically, when applying
solid materials 200 to a non-planar skin of the user, it is difficult to adhere to the skin at 100%, or uniformly apply to all parts of the skin, therefore, there will be a difference in the amount and thickness of the application on different skin areas, resulting in unnatural tops. - However, the cosmetic container according to an embodiment of the present application further includes a
powder puff portion 133, thereby achieving an effect that materials can be applied more evenly without applying an additional brush, etc. - In addition, the
powder puff portion 133 may include apowder puff 1331 and a powderpuff holding portion 1333. Thepowder puff 1331 can be detachable from the powderpuff holding portion 1333. The user can purchase a powder puff separately to replace apowder puff 1331 contaminated during use, so as to improve user convenience. - At this time, as shown in
FIG. 4 , aconnection protruding portion 1351 protruding from the connectingportion 135 at a predetermined height is disposed on a bottom surface of the powderpuff holding portion 1333 by an insertion way, so that thepowder puff portion 133 can be detached from the connectingportion 135. -
FIG. 4 shows that thepowder puff 1331 can not only be detached from the powderpuff holding portion 1333, but also can be configured to form an integrated body with the powerpuff holding portion 1333. Thepowder puff portion 133 itself can be detached from the connectingportion 135 for free replacement by the user. - However, this is only an example for convenience of description. The user can make various modifications to the replacement method of the
powder puff portion 133 according to needs, which is not intended to limit the scope of the present application. -
FIG. 5 is a view showing a cross section of a holding portion according to an embodiment of the present application. - Referring to
FIG. 5 , the cross section of the holding portion according to an embodiment of the present application is streamlined. - More specifically, the main body has a cross section of a symmetrical shape with a center line as a reference, and has a radius of curvature gradually increasing from a center of a section to an end thereof, wherein the center of a section has a constant radius of curvature.
- As shown in
FIG. 5 , the cross section of the holding portion according to an embodiment of the present application can be roughly divided into 4 regions including a first region S1 and a second region S2 on an upper part with a horizontal line X-X′ as a reference, and a third region S3 and a fourth region S4 on a lower part with a horizontal line X-X′ as a reference. - The first region S1 is symmetrical to the fourth region S4 with the horizontal line X-X′ as a reference.
- The second region S2 is symmetrical to the third region S3 with the horizontal line X-X′ as a reference.
- The first region S1 and the fourth region S4 has a radius of curvature gradually increasing to an end thereof, and an edge is formed at an intersection of the first region S1 and the fourth region S4.
- Therefore, the user can apply materials to the skin in a variety of shapes from wide surfaces to sharp corners.
- A person's face has a curved surface with multiple protruding surfaces instead of a flat surface, especially a nose. Wide portions of the first region S1 and the fourth region S4 of the holding portion according to an embodiment of the present application can be applied materials to a wide portion of the nose, and the narrow portions at ends of the first region S1 and the fourth region S4 can be applied materials to a narrow portion of the nose, thereby achieving a more three-dimensional application of materials.
- The description in the specification shows the best mode of the present application, provides examples to indicate the present application, and enables those skilled in the art to make and use the present application. Regarding the specification, specific terms used herein do not limit the present application.
- Therefore, although the present application has been described in detail with reference to the above examples, it will be possible for those skilled in the art to modify, alteration, and vary the examples without departing from the scope of the present application. In short, it should be noted that in order to achieve the desired effect of the present application, it is not necessary to include all the functional blocks illustrated in the drawings or execute in an order shown in the drawings. Even if it is not, it falls within the scope described in claims.
