Abstract
The present invention is an integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with a disposable and breakable inner plug comprising a lower cover, an upper cover and an inner plug. The lower cover comprises an opening. The upper cover extends integrally from one side of the lower cover, and the upper cover rotates relatively to the lower cover to fasten the lower cover and seals the opening. The inner plug integrally extends from the lower cover adjacent to the periphery of opening and seals the opening. The inner plug comprises a tearing zone between the inner plug and the lower cover, the inner plug comprises a tearing member for a user to pull in order to drive the inner plug displacement relative to the lower cover, so as to disengage the inner plug from the lower cover and expose the opening by tearing off the tearing zone.
Description
- The present invention relates to a wide-mouth bottle sealing cap, and more particularly to an integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with a disposable and breakable inner plug.
- For example, the Chinese patent publication no. CN204916566U “wide-mouth bottle” discloses a wide-mouth bottle comprising a bottle, a cap and an inner plug, wherein the inner plug and the cap are separated, the inner plug is disposed on an opening of the bottle, and the inner plug includes an inner plug ring, an inner plug tab and a tear tab. The inner plug seals the opening of the bottle, and the opening of the bottle may only be opened after pulling the tear tab to break and remove the inner plug tab. It is designed as a disposable and breakable sealing cover, thus preventing a user from arbitrarily taking the contents inside the bottle before purchase in order to avoid contaminating the contents inside the bottle.
- However, as described structures above, since the cap and the inner plug are two separate components that need to be separately assembled on the bottle, which results in additionally adding an extra processing procedure for the assembly, and significantly increasing the labor and costs required for manufacturing, and the added procedure will not only increase the risk of contamination, but also cause leakage when the assembly is poor. Furthermore, since the cap and the inner plug are manufactured separately, and the materials of the cap and the inner plug are different, there will be problems of twofold material preparation and storage, and the sorting will be troublesome when recycling.
- A main object of the present invention is to provide a wide-mouth bottle cap which is low in cost and may avoid contamination while meeting environmental protection requirements.
- In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is an integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with a disposable and breakable inner plug comprising a lower cover, an upper cover and an inner plug. The lower cover comprises an opening, the upper cover extends integrally from one side of the lower cover, and the upper cover rotates relative to the lower cover to fasten the lower cover and thereby seals the opening. The inner plug integrally extends from the lower cover adjacent to the periphery of the opening and seals the opening, the inner plug and the lower cover comprise a tearing zone therebetween, and the inner plug is connected to a tearing member so that a user may pull the tearing member to drive the inner plug displacement relative to the lower cover, so as to disengage the inner plug from the lower cover and expose the opening by tearing off the tearing zone.
- Accordingly, the lower cover, the upper cover and the inner plug are integrated structures, so that a single material may be used, the processing procedures for assembly may be reduced, the manufacturing costs may be reduced, and at the same time, the possibility of contamination may be reduced, and there is no recycling problem of material sorting to meet the requirements for environmental protection.

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view for opening the upper cover of the integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with the disposable and breakable inner plug of the present invention. - The detailed description and technical contents of the present invention are described below with reference to the drawings.

FIG. 1 ,FIG. 2 andFIG. 3 show an integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with a disposable and breakableinner plug 30, which comprises alower cover 10, anupper cover 20 and aninner plug 30, wherein thelower cover 10 comprises anopening 11, theupper cover 20 is integrally extended from one side of thelower cover 10, and theupper cover 20 is rotating relative to thelower cover 10 to fasten thelower cover 10 and thereby sealing theopening 11. - In terms of actual structures, the
lower cover 10 may be a ring and comprise aflange 12 which is located at an inner edge, theupper cover 20 comprises agroove 21 corresponding to theflange 12, and theflange 12 is inserted and fastened into thegroove 21. An outer edge of thelower cover 10 may comprise arecessed area 13, and therecessed area 13 is adjacent to one side of theflange 12. When theupper cover 20 is fastened with thelower cover 10, therecessed area 13 may provide an operation space for a user to more easily contact with an edge of theupper cover 20 to facilitate opening of theupper cover 20. - Upper and lower sides of the
lower cover 10 may respectively comprise an upperarcuate edge 101 and a lowerarcuate edge 102 which are symmetrically disposed and bent outwardly, and left as well as right sides respectively comprise a leftstraight edge 103 and a rightstraight edge 104 which are vertically disposed. Lengths of the upperarcuate edge 101 and the lowerarcuate edge 102 are equal, and longer than lengths of the leftstraight edge 103 and the rightstraight edge 104. Theupper cover 20 may be formed by integrally extending from a middle portion of the upperarcuate edge 101 of thelower cover 10, and thelower cover 10 may be connected with theupper cover 20 by abent section 22. In order to match a shape of the upperarcuate edge 101 of thelower cover 10, so as to increase the strength and durability of thebent section 22, thebent section 22 may comprise amain connector 221 and twoauxiliary connectors 222 by two sides of themain connector 221. - In addition, the
inner plug 30 integrally extends from thelower cover 10 adjacent to the periphery of theopening 11 and seals theopening 11, theinner plug 30 and thelower cover 10 comprises atearing zone 31 therebetween, and theinner plug 30 is connected to atearing member 32 so that a user may pull thetearing member 32 to drive theinner plug 30 displacement relative to thelower cover 10, so as to disengage theinner plug 30 from thelower cover 10 and expose theopening 11 by tearing off thetearing zone 31. - In implementation, the
tearing zone 31 may be a film structure, and thetearing member 32 may be a pull-ring structure, so that the user may hook on to the pull-ring structure of thetearing member 32 with a finger, and tear the film structure of thetearing zone 31, which may easily disengage theinner plug 30 from thelower cover 10 and thereby expose theopening 11. Moreover, a junction between the tearingmember 32 and theinner plug 30 may comprise a reinforcingstructure 33 to avoid breakage and subsequent separation between the tearingmember 32 and theinner plug 30. - In summary, the present invention provides the integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with the disposable and breakable inner plug, with advantages at least including:
- 1. The lower cover, the upper cover and the inner plug are integrated structures, which may not only simplify the manufacturing process, but also reduce the production costs by using a single material.
- 2. The lower cover, the upper cover and the inner plug are integrated structures, which are manufactured at the same time. That is, the invention achieves the efficiency of preventing leakage, resisting deformation and disengagement to solve the conventional problem of product contamination since the cap and the inner plug of conventional are separated structures, as a result, the contents inside the bottle are easier to be seeped by thermal expansion and contraction or squeezing and shaking during shipping, thus the present invention is not only reducing the possibility of contamination, but also avoiding leakage caused by poor assembly.
- 3. A single material is used to improve the recovery rate of waste, which is environmentally friendly, and meets environmental protection requirements.
Claims (10)
1. An integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with a disposable and breakable inner plug, comprising:
a lower cover, the lower cover comprising an opening;
an upper cover, the upper cover extending integrally from one side of the lower cover, and the upper cover rotating relative to the lower cover to fasten the lower cover and thereby sealing the opening; and
an inner plug, the inner plug integrally extending from the lower cover adjacent to a periphery of the opening and sealing the opening, the inner plug and the lower cover comprising a tearing zone therebetween, and the inner plug being connected to a tearing member for a user to pull the tearing member to drive the inner plug displacement relative to the lower cover, and the inner plug being disengaged from the lower cover to expose the opening by tearing off the tearing zone.

The integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with the disposable and breakable inner plug as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the lower cover is a ring and comprises a flange at an inner edge, the upper cover comprises a groove corresponding to the flange, and the flange is inserted and fastened into the groove.
3. The integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with the disposable and breakable inner plug as claimed in claim 2 , wherein an outer edge of the lower cover comprises a recessed area, and the recessed area is adjacent to one side of the flange.

The integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with the disposable and breakable inner plug as claimed in claim 1 , wherein upper and lower sides of the lower cover respectively comprise an upper arcuate edge and a lower arcuate edge which are symmetrically disposed and bent outwardly, left and right sides respectively comprise a left straight edge and right straight edge which are vertically disposed, lengths of the upper arcuate edge and the lower arcuate edge are equal, and longer than lengths of the left straight edge and the right straight edge.
5. The integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with the disposable and breakable inner plug as claimed in claim 4 , wherein the upper cover is formed by integrally extending from a middle portion of the upper arcuate edge of the lower cover.
6. The integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with the disposable and breakable inner plug as claimed in claim 5 , wherein the lower cover is connected with the upper cover by a bent section.
7. The integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with the disposable and breakable inner plug as claimed in claim 6 , wherein the bent section comprises a main connector and two auxiliary connectors by two sides of the main connector.
8. The integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with the disposable and breakable inner plug as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the tearing zone is a film structure.
9. The integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with the disposable and breakable inner plug as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the tearing member is a pull-ring structure.
10. The integrated wide-mouth bottle cap with the disposable and breakable inner plug as claimed in claim 1 , wherein a connection between the tearing member and the inner plug comprises a reinforcing structure.
