The outwardly protruding tips of the first housing 101 and the second housing 201 are respectively located at the middle of the first housing 101 and the second housing 201 to form the thermal insulation space 102.
  • In practical use, the hand-held part of the hair straightener held by the user is usually located on the side far away from the thermal clamping plate. Accordingly, locating the outwardly protruding tip of the housing at its middle gives the hand-held part a gentle slope, which helps the user's one-handed operation and further improves the user's comfort of one-handed holding/operation. Moreover, in the present embodiment, the two ends of the housing and the two ends of the handle are fixedly connected by a clipping fixed connection which makes the contact area between the clamping plate parts and the housings relatively smaller, and is conducive to reducing the heat conductivity.
  • Preferably, please continually referring to FIGS. 1 and 3 in the hair straightener according to the present application, a preset angle β is arranged between the first clamping plate part 100 and the second clamping plate part 200. Such preset angle can be controlled between 20 and 60 degrees, to facilitate the users to implement one-handed operation at any time.
  • Specifically, the hair straightener provided by the present embodiment further comprises an articulated connection component 150 via which the first clamping plate part 100 and the second clamping plate part 200 are articulated.
  • To be specific, the articulated connection component 150 is arranged at a location having a preset interval distance from tail ends of the first clamping plate part 100 and the second clamping plate part 200. It should be noted that, the tail end of the first clamping plate part 100 and the tail end of the second clamping plate part 200 mean refer to the ends of the clamping plate parts far away from the thermal clamping plate. That is, the clamping plates form a lever structure taking the articulated connection component 150 as the support point, and the preset interval distance forms the resistance arm. • More preferably, in other embodiments, the first housing 101 and the second housing 201 are provided with patterns for identifying a hand-held position, which can guide the user to implement the one-handed operation at the best location. The patterns can be designed as finger concaves, grinding surfaces, etc.
  • To sum up, in the present application, housings are additionally arranged at the outer side of the clamping plate parts for contacting the hand of the user to facilitate holding. The housings are incompletely or indirectly contacted with the clamping plate parts, so that the heat conductivity is effectively reduced. Moreover, in the present application, the thermal insulation space is provided between the housings and the clamping plate parts, which further hinders the heat transmission and keeps the surface temperature of the housing maintaining in a comfortable range at all times. Accordingly, the hair straightener of the present application has a remarkable anti-scalding effect and a simple structure, which can not only improve the user's good operation experience, but also help to improve the product market competitiveness of the hair straightener in the present application.
  • Moreover, in the present embodiment, the thermal insulation space 102 has openings at both sides, that is, the flowable convective air is used for thermal insulation. On the one hand, the thermal conductivity of air is not so high as that of common materials of the structural parts of the hair straightener, such as metals or engineering plastics, which can effectively slow down the heat transfer; On the other hand, as air has great fluidity in daily life, the flow of the air between the clamping plate parts and the housings during the normal use can not only effectively reduce the heat transfer, but also accelerate the heat loss between the clamping plate parts and the housings, thus achieving the excellent anti-scalding effect. Of course, in other embodiments, the thermal insulation space 102 can also be filled with thermal insulation materials, such as nanoaerogel composite insulation felt having a nanoporous structure with high heat insulation efficiency, light weight and excellent anti scalding effect. In addition, it is possible to use asbestos or other glass-ceramic fiber insulation materials to instead. The present embodiment prefers to arrange openings on both sides of the thermal insulation space 102, that is, to implement the heat insulation with the flowable air. In such a way, the anti-scalding effect can meet the requirements without increasing the production cost.
  • More than that, the first housing and the second housing are both elastic housings. Such elastic housing arrangement can increase the handheld comfort level felt by the user who holds the hair straightener on the one hand. On the other hand, the pressing of the housing during the use by the user will cause the relaxation movement of the housing, which blows the air between the clamping plate parts and the housings to accelerate the air flowing therebetween, thus accelerating the heat loss between the clamping plate parts and the housings, and improving the anti-scalding effect. In this embodiment, the first housing and the second housing both have an arched shape protruding outwardly, and look like packages. Such arched arrangement not only gives the hair straightener a streamlined and beautiful appearance, but also conforms to the ergonomics of the human hand, making the hair straightener more convenient for holding and operation, thus helping improving the user's operating experience.
  • It is understandable that for one skilled in the art, the technical solution and concept of the present application can be changed or modified, and all such changes and modifications should fall within the protection scope of the present application.
