Description

    TECHNICAL FIELD
  • One or more embodiments of the present invention relate to a wig kit including a wig base cap and one or more hair members, and a method for producing a wig using the same.
  • BACKGROUND
  • Normally, a method for fixing hair members having a hair tress shape or the like to a wig base cap by sewing the hair members thereto using threads or knitting the hair members therein is adopted to produce a whole head wig, for example. Also, a method for directly applying an adhesive to a wig base cap and bonding hair members having a hair tress shape or the like thereto is used as a method for producing a whole head wig, for example. In recent years, fixing hair members having a hair tress shape or the like to a wig base cap using a button-shaped fixing member has been proposed (Patent Document 1).

  • However, if hair members are fixed to a wig base cap using threads or an adhesive, practiced techniques are required and it takes a long time to produce a whole head wig. Also, if hair members are fixed to a wig base cap using the button-shaped fixing member disclosed in Patent Document 1, the hair members are likely to detach from the wig base cap.
  • SUMMARY
  • One or more embodiments of the present invention provide a wig kit by which a wig can be easily produced in a short period of time and a wig from which hair members are unlikely to detach can be obtained, and a method for producing a wig using the same.
  • One or more embodiments of the present invention relate to a wig kit including a wig base cap and one or more hair members, and the wig base cap is provided with one or more first fasteners, the one or more hair members are each provided with a second fastener having adhesiveness to the first fasteners, and the one or more hair members are configured to be fixed to the wig base cap by separably adhering the second fastener to the first fastener.
  • Preferably, in one or more embodiments of the present invention, an autohesion adhesive may be disposed on one or both surfaces of the first fastener and the second fastener, and the second fastener and the first fastener are configured to adhere to each other via the autohesion adhesive. Preferably, in one or more embodiments of the present invention, at least one of the first fastener and the second fastener may have a tape shape.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the first fastener may have a crease. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, only a crease portion of the first fastener may be fixed to the wig base cap.
  • Preferably, in one or more embodiments of the present invention, peel strength between the wig base cap and the hair member may be 20 to 50 N/cm. Preferably, in one or more embodiments of the present invention, adhesive strength between the second fastener and the first fastener may be 1 to 9 N/cm.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the hair members may include a hair tress constituted by a fiber bundle having a root portion where fibers are linked to each other, and the second fastener may be disposed at the root portion.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the hair members may include a hairpiece constituted by a base portion and fibers implanted in a central portion of the base portion, and the second fastener may be disposed at a peripheral edge portion of the base portion.
  • One or more embodiments of the present invention relate to a method for producing a wig using the wig kit, and the wig kit includes a wig base cap and one or more hair members, the wig base cap is provided with one or more first fasteners, and the one or more hair members are each provided with a second fastener having adhesiveness to the first fasteners, and the method includes separably adhering the second fastener to a first fastener and fixing the one or more hair members to the wig base cap.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, one surface of the first fastener and one surface of the second fastener may be adhered to each other. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the first fastener and the second fastener may be adhered to each other such that the second fastener is held by the first fastener.
  • The wig kit according to one or more embodiments of the present invention makes it possible to easily produce a wig in a short period of time, and obtain a wig from which a hair member is unlikely to detach. Also, the method for producing a wig according to one or more embodiments of the present invention makes it possible to easily produce a wig from which a hair member is unlikely to detach, in a short period of time.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENTS
  • The inventor of the present invention conducted intensive studies. As a result, the inventor found that, as a result of providing one or more first fasteners in a wig base cap, providing, in a hair member, a second fastener having adhesiveness to the first fasteners, separably adhering the second fastener to the first fasteners, and fixing the hair member to the wig base cap, a wig from which the hair member is unlikely to detach can be easily produced in a short period of time.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the wig kit includes a wig base cap and one or more hair members. The wig base cap need only have a cap shape to be worn on a head, and is not particularly limited. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, an artificial skin base (also referred to as a “skin base”) may be used as a wig base cap, for example. Although there is no particular limitation on the artificial skin base, a polyurethane resin film or sheet that is gently curved in a protruding shape following the head shape of a user can be suitably used, for example.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, from the viewpoint of increasing air permeability and comfort when the wig base cap is worn, it may be preferable to use a net base at least partially constituted by a net cloth, and it may be more preferable to use a net base entirely constituted by a net cloth. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, a cloth woven in a mesh pattern, a cloth provided with through holes, or the like can be used as the net cloth, for example. Although there is no particular limitation on the material of the net cloth, examples thereof include chemical fibers and natural fibers. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, from the viewpoint of being able to easily fit to the shape of the head of a user, the net base may preferably have elasticity. A commercially available cap for a wig or the like may be used as the net base, for example.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, a region of the wig base cap that covers the forehead may be provided with an opening portion. Hair of a user can be drawn out from the opening portion. Alternatively, as a result of fixing a hair member having a part to the opening portion, a more natural wig can be obtained as later described.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, there is no particular limitation on fibers used in a hair member, and fibers for artificial hair, such as natural fibers and chemical fibers, can be used. Examples of the natural fibers include human hair and yak hair, and examples of the chemical fibers include synthetic fibers such as polyester-based fibers, acrylic fibers, vinyl chloride fibers, and polyamide fibers, and artificial protein fibers such as collagen fibers.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the hair members may include a hair tress constituted by a fiber bundle having a root portion where fibers are linked to each other. The hair tress (also referred to as a “weft”) is normally obtained by sewing one end portion of a fiber bundle having a predetermined length using a sewing machine for wigs, and processing the sewn fiber bundle into a grass skirt shape. A sewing portion of the hair tress serves as the root portion. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the second fastener is normally provided at one end portion of the hair member, and for example, if the hair member is a hair tress, the second fastener is normally provided at the root portion of the hair tress.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the hair members may include a hairpiece constituted by a base portion and fibers implanted in a central portion of the base portion. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, normally, the second fastener is provided at a peripheral edge portion of a base portion of the hairpiece. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the hairpiece may have a part. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, a hairpiece having a part may be preferably fixed to the region of the wig base cap that covers the forehead, and may be fixed to an opening portion disposed in the region of the wig base cap that covers the forehead. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, similarly to the wig base cap, an artificial skin base may be used, or a net base may also be used as the base portion of the hairpiece, for example.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the wig base cap is provided with one or more first fasteners, and the hair member is provided with a second fastener having adhesiveness to the first fasteners. Because the second fastener has adhesiveness to the first fastener, the second fastener can be easily separably adhered to the first fastener. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, “a second fastener having adhesiveness to a first fastener” means that the first fastener and the second fastener separably adhere to each other due to an external process involving the use of pressure and/or heat, for example. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, “a second fastener and a first fastener separably adhering to each other” means that the adhesive strength between the second fastener and the first fastener may be 9 N/cm or less. Adhesive strength between the second fastener and the first fastener is not particularly limited, but may be preferably 0.5 N/cm or more, and more preferably 1 N/cm or more. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, adhesive strength between the second fastener and the first fastener is measured as will be described later.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, wigs of various designs can be produced using one wig kit as a result of separably adhering the second fastener and the first fasteners to each other.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, from the viewpoint of enhancing fittability when the wig base cap is worn on a head, at least one of the first fasteners and the second fastener may preferably have elasticity, and more preferably both the first fasteners and the second fastener may have elasticity.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, the first fastener may preferably have a tape shape. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, the first fastener may have a thickness of 0.2 to 0.6 mm, or have a thickness of 0.3 to 0.5 mm. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, if the hair tress is fixed to the wig base cap as the hair member, the width of the first fastener is desirably larger than the width of the root portion of the hair tress, and the width of the first fastener may be 1.5 times or more the width of the root portion of the hair tress, or be 2 times or more the width of the root portion of the hair tress, for example.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although there is no particular limitation on the method for arranging the first fasteners on the wig base cap, from the viewpoint of workability, for example, it is desirable to arrange the first fasteners such that a length direction of the first fasteners extends in a lateral direction of the wig base cap (a circumferential direction of the head portion), and an interval between positions at which adjacent first fasteners are arranged may be preferably larger than the width of the first fastener. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although there is no particular limitation on the method for fixing the first fasteners to the wig base cap, it is desirable to fix the first fasteners thereto such that portions of first fasteners other than fixed portions move, for example. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the first fasteners may be sewn to the wig base cap, or the first fastener may be provided with a crease and the first fasteners may be sewn to the wig base cap along the crease, for example. Also, in one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, a first fastener may be fixed to the wig base cap using an adhesive such as a bond, or a first fastener may be provided with a crease and fixed to the wig base cap along the crease using an adhesive such as a bond, for example. From the viewpoint of increasing air permeability and comfort when the wig base cap is worn and facilitating separation of a first fastener and a second fastener, it may be preferable that only the crease portion of the first fastener be fixed to the wig base cap.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, the second fastener may preferably have a tape shape. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, the second fastener may have a thickness of 0.2 to 0.6 mm, or have a thickness of 0.3 to 0.5 mm. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, if the hair member is a hair tress, the width of the second fastener is desirably larger than the width of a root portion of the hair tress, and the width of the second fastener may be 1.5 times or more the width of the root portion of the hair tress, or be 2 times or more the width of the root portion of the hair tress, for example. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, if the hair member is a hairpiece, the width of the second fastener is desirably larger than the width of a peripheral edge portion of the hairpiece, and the width of the second fastener may be 1.5 times or more the width of the peripheral edge portion of the hairpiece, or be 2 times or more the width of the edge portion of the hairpiece, for example. Alternatively, in one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, the second fastener may be provided to cover the entire base portion of the hairpiece.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, it may be preferable that an autohesion adhesive is disposed on one or both surfaces of a first fastener and one or both surfaces of a second fastener. The second fastener and the first fastener can be separably adhered to each other by using the autohesion adhesive. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, an “autohesion adhesive” refers to an adhesive having properties such that adhesives of the same type adhere to each other, and do not substantially adhere to another substance. Because the autohesion adhesive is disposed on one or both surfaces of the first fastener and one or both surfaces of the second fastener, the first fastener and the second fastener have adhesiveness only to each other.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, from the viewpoint of enhancing fittability to the shape of a head, the autohesion adhesive may preferably have flexibility after it has solidified. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although there is no particular limitation on the autohesion adhesive, an adhesive composition containing one or more adhesive components selected from the group consisting of natural rubber, natural rubber derivatives obtained by grafting an unsaturated monomer onto natural rubber, and synthetic rubber can be used as the autohesion adhesive, for example, and from the viewpoint of good adhesion properties, it may be preferable to use an adhesive composition containing one or more adhesive components selected from the group consisting of natural rubber and natural rubber derivatives obtained by grafting an unsaturated monomer onto natural rubber. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although there is no particular limitation on an unsaturated monomer to be grafted onto natural rubber, examples thereof include methyl methacrylate, styrene, acrylonitrile, vinylidene chloride, maleic anhydride, acrylamide, vinylpyrrolidone, dimethylacrylamide, and glycidyl methacrylate. From the viewpoint of reliable progression of a grafting reaction, out of these compounds, methyl methacrylate, styrene, and acrylonitrile are normally used. Examples of synthetic rubber include acrylonitrile-isoprene copolymer rubber (NIR), acrylonitrile-butadiene copolymer rubber (NBR), styrene-butadiene copolymer rubber (SBR), butadiene rubber, and isoprene rubber. Natural rubber and/or a natural rubber derivative may be used in combination with a synthetic rubber as adhesive components, and from the viewpoint of increasing peel strength between the hair members and the wig base cap, when the total amount of natural rubber and/or a natural rubber derivative and synthetic rubber is 100 mass %, the content of the natural rubber and/or the natural rubber derivative may be preferably 30 mass % or more. The adhesive composition may include an additive agent such as an age resister as appropriate as long as the effects of the present invention are not inhibited. An antioxidant such as a hindered phenol-based antioxidant can be used as the age resister, for example. Examples of the hindered phenol-based antioxidant include triethylene glycol-bis[3-(3-t-butyl-5-methyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionate], pentaerythrityl-tetrakis[3-(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionate], octadecyl-3-(3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxyphenyl)propionate, 1,3,5-trimethyl-2,4,6-tris (3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)benzene, and 3,9-bis[2-{3-(3-t-butyl-4-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)propionyloxy}-1,1-dimethylethyl]-2,4, 8,10-tetraoxaspiro[5,5]undecane. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although there is no particular limitation on the autohesion adhesive, a commercially available autohesion adhesive can be used. For example, latex-based adhesives in CORETEX (registered trademark) series that contain an adhesive component such as natural rubber, natural rubber derivatives obtained by grafting methyl methacrylate onto natural rubber, synthetic rubber and so on and are manufactured by MUSASHI CHEMICAL CORPORATION can be used. It may be preferable that the autohesion adhesive is in a solidified state in the first fasteners and the second fastener.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, the first fasteners and the second fastener may each be constituted by a fastener base member in which the autohesion adhesive is disposed on one or both surfaces of an elastic fabric, or may each be constituted by a fastener base member in which an elastic fabric is impregnated with the autohesion adhesive. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, from the viewpoint of enhancing fittability when the wig base cap is worn on a head, the fastener base member may preferably have an elongation percentage of 130% or more, and more preferably have an elongation percentage of 150% or more in the length direction under a load of 14.7 N, the elongation percentage being measured according to the JIS L 1096 constant-speed elongation method. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, the first fasteners and the second fastener may each be constituted by an autohesion adhesive. There is no particular limitation on the material of the elastic fabric, and a fabric including polyurethane fibers, nylon fibers, or the like may be used, for example.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, if the autohesion adhesive is a pressure sensitive adhesive that adheres to something under pressure, the first fasteners and the second fastener can be easily adhered separably to each other by bringing the first fasteners and the second fastener into contact with each other and then pressing a contact portion using a hand, for example. For example, if a pressure sensitive adhesive is used out of adhesive compositions including an adhesive component, such as natural rubber, natural rubber derivatives obtained by grafting an unsaturated monomer onto natural rubber, or synthetic rubber, the first fasteners and the second fastener can be separably adhered to each other by bringing the first fasteners and the second fastener into contact with each other and then pressing a contact portion using a hand.
  • In one or more embodiments of the present invention, although not particularly limited, from the viewpoint of strongly fixing a hair member to the wig base cap and facilitating a style change, for example, peel strength between the wig base cap and the hair member may be preferably 20 to 50 N/cm, and more preferably 30 to 40 N/cm. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, peel strength between the wig base cap and the hair member is measured as will be described later.
  • Hereinafter, a wig kit according to one or more embodiments of the present invention and a method for producing a wig using the same will be described with reference to the drawings. However, the present invention is not limited to that shown in the drawings below.
  • FIGS. 1 to 4 are schematic plan views of a wig base cap according to one or more embodiments of the present invention placed on a mannequin head, when observed from directly above. In FIGS. 1 to 4, a wig base cap 10 is placed on a mannequin head 1, and the region of the wig base cap 10 that covers the forehead is provided with an opening portion 11. Hair of a user can be drawn out from the opening portion 11. As shown in FIG. 2, first fasteners 12 may be partially disposed at an edge of the opening portion 11. As shown in FIG. 3, a first fastener 13 may be disposed to cover the entire edge of the opening portion 11. As shown in FIG. 4, a first fastener 14 may be disposed to cover the entire opening portion 11. The first fasteners 12, 13, and 14 may be formed by applying and solidifying an autohesion adhesive, may be constituted by a tape-shaped elastic fabric on which an autohesion adhesive is disposed on one or both surfaces thereof or may be formed using a tape-shaped elastic fabric impregnated with an autohesion adhesive.
  • FIGS. 5A to 5C are schematic side views illustrating arrangements of first fasteners on a wig base cap in one or more embodiments of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 5A, in one or more embodiments, a first fastener 15 has a crease 21 extending along a center line in the width direction thereof and the first fastener 15 is sewn to a predetermined position of the wig base cap 10 along the crease 21. As shown in FIG. 5B, in one or more embodiments, a first fastener 16 has a crease 22 in a portion located near one end portion in the width direction thereof and the first fastener 16 is sewn to a predetermined position of the wig base cap 10 along the crease 22 such that the wider portion is located on the upper side. As shown in FIG. 5C, in one or more embodiments, a first fastener 17 has a crease 23 in a portion located near another end portion in the width direction thereof, and the first fastener 17 is sewn to a predetermined position of the wig base cap 10 along the crease 23 such that the wider portion is located on the lower side.
  • FIG. 6 is a schematic diagram illustrating a hair tress in one example used in one or more embodiments of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 6, a hair tress 30 is a grass skirt-shaped hair member obtained by sewing one end portion of fiber bundles 31 having a predetermined length using a sewing machine for wigs, and a sewing portion serves as a root portion 32.
  • FIGS. 7 to 9 are schematic diagrams illustrating arrangements of a second fastener on a hair tress in one or more embodiments of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 7, in one or more embodiments, the root portion of the hair tress 30 is provided with a tape-shaped second fastener 40 formed by directly applying the autohesion adhesive to the root portion of the hair tress 30 and solidifying the autohesion adhesive. As shown in FIG. 8, in one or more embodiments, a tape-shaped second fastener 50 constituted by a fastener base member is sewn to the root portion 32 of the hair tress 30 to cover the root portion 32. Reference numeral 24 indicates a sewing line in FIG. 8. As shown in FIG. 9, in one or more embodiments, a tape-shaped second fastener 50 constituted by a fastener base member is sewn to the root portion 32 of the hair tress 30 to come in contact with one surface of the root portion 32. Reference numeral 25 indicates a sewing line in FIG. 9.
  • FIG. 10A is a schematic front view of a hairpiece in one example used in one or more embodiments of the present invention, and FIG. 10B is a schematic back view of the hairpiece. As shown in FIGS. 10A and 10B, a hairpiece 60 according to one or more embodiments is constituted by a base portion 62 and fibers 61 implanted in the base portion 62, and a second fastening portion 63 is provided at a peripheral edge portion of the base portion 62, and the hairpiece 60 has a part 64.
  • FIGS. 11A to 11E are schematic plan views showing shapes of base portions used in a hairpiece in one or more embodiments of the present invention. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the shape of a base portion used in a hairpiece is not limited thereto.
  • FIGS. 12A and 12B are schematic cross-sectional views of a fastener base member used in a first fastener and a second fastener in one or more embodiments of the present invention. As shown in FIG. 12A, a fastener base member 70 is constituted by an elastic fabric 71 and autohesion adhesives 72 and 73 disposed on both surfaces of the elastic fabric 71. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the fastener base member may be constituted by an elastic fabric and an autohesion adhesive disposed on one surface of the elastic fabric. As shown in FIG. 12B, a fastener base member 80 is constituted by an elastic fabric 81, autohesion adhesives 82 and 83 disposed on both surfaces of the elastic fabric 81, and protection layers 84 and 85 that are respectively disposed on surfaces of the autohesion adhesives 82 and 83. Materials, the thickness, and the like of the protection layers 84 and 85 are not particularly limited and need only be adjusted as appropriate. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, a stretch film or the like may also be used as the material of the protection layers 84 and 85, for example. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, the protection layers 84 and 85 may have a thickness of 10 μm to 30 μm, for example. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, an elastic fabric may be impregnated with the autohesion adhesive in the fastener base member.
  • FIG. 13A is a schematic rear-view illustrating positions at which first fasteners of a wig base cap are arranged in one or more embodiments of the present invention, FIG. 13B is a schematic side view thereof and FIG. 13C is a schematic plan view thereof. As shown in FIGS. 13A to 13C, in one or more embodiments, guidelines 101 on which first fasteners are disposed are drawn on a wig base cap 100 along the lateral direction (the circumferential direction of the head portion).
  • FIGS. 14A and 14B are schematic side views illustrating a method for fixing a hair member to a wig base cap in one or more embodiments of the present invention. As shown in FIGS. 14A and 14B, in one or more embodiments, a crease 103 located on the center line in the width direction of a first fastener 102 is sewn to the wig base cap 100 along a guide line 101 of the wig base cap 100, and a second fastener 201 constituted by a fastener base member that is in contact with one surface of the root portion of the hair member (hair tress) 200 is sewn to the hair member (hair tress) 200 (a sewing line 202). As a result of pressing, using a hand, the first fastener 102 provided in the wig base cap 100 to cover the second fastener 201 provided in the hair member (hair tress) 200 to adhere the first fastener 102 and the second fastener 201 to each other, the hair member (hair tress) 200 is fixed to the wig base cap 100. Although not shown, a wig can be produced as a result of separably adhering, to each other, a plurality of first fasteners arranged along the guide lines of the wig base cap 100 and the second fasteners provided in the hair members, and fixing the plurality of hair members to the wig base cap. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, a configuration may be adopted in which a region of the wig base cap that covers a parietal portion is provided with an opening portion that enables hair of the user to be drawn out therefrom, a first fastener is disposed in the opening portion, the first fastener of the opening portion and the second fastener provided in the hairpiece are separably adhered to each other, and thus the hairpiece is fixed to the region of the wig base cap that covers the parietal portion.
  • FIGS. 15A and 15B are schematic side views illustrating a method for fixing hair members to a wig base cap in one or more embodiments of the present invention. As shown in FIGS. 15A and 15B, in one or more embodiments, a crease 104 located near one end portion in the width direction of the first fastener 102 is sewn to the wig base cap 100 along the guide line 101 of the wig base cap 100, and a second fastener 201 constituted by a fastener base member that is in contact with one surface of the root portion of the hair member (hair tress) 200 is sewn to the hair member (hair tress) 200. As a result of bringing the first fastener 102 provided in the wig base cap 100 into contact with one surface of the second fastener 201 provided in the hair member (hair tress) 200, and then pressing, using a hand, the first fastener 102 and the second fastener 201 to be separably adhered to each other, the hair member (hair tress) 200 is fixed to the wig base cap 100. Although not shown, a wig can be produced as a result of separably adhering, to each other, a plurality of first fasteners arranged along the guide lines of the wig base cap 100 and the second fasteners provided in the hair members, and fixing the plurality of hair members to the wig base cap. In one or more embodiments of the present invention, a configuration may be adopted in which a region of the wig base cap that covers the parietal portion is provided with an opening portion that enables hair of the user to be drawn out therefrom, a first fastener is disposed in the opening portion, the first fastener of the opening portion and the second fastener provided in the hairpiece are separably adhered to each other, and thus the hairpiece is fixed to the region of the wig base cap that covers the parietal portion.
  • FIG. 16 is a schematic side view of a wig produced using a wig kit in one or more embodiments of the present invention. In one or more embodiments, a wig 300 is configured as a result of hair tresses being fixed to a portion of the wig base cap other than the region of the wig base cap that covers the parietal portion. A configuration may be adopted in which hair of a user is drawn out from an opening portion provided in a region of the wig base cap that covers the parietal portion when the wig 300 is worn, and if a first fastener is disposed in the opening portion, a second fastener provided in the hairpiece can be separably adhered to the first fastener of the opening portion, and thus the hairpiece is fixed to the region of the wig base cap that covers the parietal portion.
  • FIGS. 18A and 18B are photographs illustrating a measurement sample in one example used to measure peel strength between a wig base cap and a hair member. Specifically FIG. 18A shows a photograph of a measurement sample in one example obtained by cutting a wig base cap portion to have a longitudinal length of 4 cm and a lateral length of 2 cm with a portion where the wig base cap and the hair member are fixed to each other centered in the longitudinal direction, and cutting the hair member (hair tress) such that the length of the fibers extending from the root is 3 cm. FIG. 18B shows a photograph illustrating a state in which the wig base cap of the same measurement sample is folded in half a portion located 1 cm from an end thereof is fixed to a lower mounting side jig, and a portion located 1 cm from the root of the hair tress is fixed to an upper mounting side jig.
  • FIGS. 19A to 19F are photographs illustrating measurement samples in one example used to measure adhesive strength between a first fastener and a second fastener. Specifically, FIG. 19A shows a photograph of Sample I obtained by cutting a wig base cap portion to have a longitudinal length of 4 cm and a lateral length of 3 cm with a portion where the wig base cap and the hair member are fixed to each other centered in the longitudinal direction. FIGS. 19B and 19C show photographs illustrating states in which only a portion where the first fastener and the second fastener are adhered to each other is cut out from Sample I. FIG. 19D shows a photograph of Sample II obtained by cutting only a portion where the first fastener and the second fastener are adhered to each other out from Sample I, Sample II having a predetermined longitudinal length and having a lateral length of 3 cm. FIG. 19E shows a photograph of Sample III obtained by peeling apart, by 2 cm, the first fastener and the second fastener of Sample II from one end portion thereof in the lateral direction. FIG. 19F shows a photograph illustrating a state in which, with Sample III, a portion of the peeled first fastener located 1 cm from an end thereof is fixed to an upper mounting jig, and a portion of the peeled second fastener located 1 cm from an end thereof is fixed to a lower mounting jig.
  • EXAMPLES
  • One or more embodiments of the present invention will be described using examples below. However, the present invention is not limited thereto.
  • Example 1
  • As shown in FIG. 6, a hair tress 30 was produced using polyester-based fibers (“Futura” manufactured by KANEKA CORPORATION), and, as shown in FIG. 9, a hair member was obtained by sewing the tape-shaped second fastener 50 constituted by a fastener base member to the root portion 32 of the hair tress 30. Specifically, the fastener base member was produced by evenly applying, as an autohesion adhesive, a natural rubber-based autohesion adhesive (“CORETEX (registered trademark) AD-60” manufactured by MUSASHINO CHEMICAL CORPORATION; natural rubber latex containing natural rubber in an amount of about 60 wt %) to an elastic fabric (“power-net” manufactured by Morikurosu Co., Ltd., 83 mass % polyurethane/17 mass % nylon, thickness was 0.31 to 0.33 mm) such that the autohesion adhesive had a thickness of 0.33 to 0.35 mm, and drying the resulting fabric at room temperature for 4 hours. The fastener base member had an elongation percentage of about 140% in the length direction under a load of 14.7 N, the elongation percentage being measured according to the JIS L 1096 constant-speed elongation method. The fastener base member was cut to a length of 45 cm and a width of 1.5 cm to obtain a tape-shaped second fastener 50. As shown in FIG. 9, a hair member provided with the second fastener was produced by sewing a portion of the tape-shaped second fastener 50 having a width of 5 mm to the center line of the root portion of the hair tress 30.
  • Next, a wig base cap (“Deluxe WIG CAP” manufactured by Dream World) with fine stitches was used as the wig base cap, and as shown in FIG. 13, a mannequin head (“mannequin head for processing only” manufactured by CLASSE Inc.) 1 was covered with the wig base cap 100, and the guide lines 101 for arranging the first fasteners on the wig base cap 100 were drawn. Specifically, the guide lines were drawn as follows. A first line was drawn straight from the center of the front (a portion located vertically upward from the nose) of the wig base cap to the center of a nape portion, a point was drawn, on the first line (centerline), at a position located 2 cm from the nape portion, and a second line was drawn using a compass so as to draw a circle having a radius of 2 cm about this point. Third to seventh lines were drawn at intervals of 2 cm based on the second line. Then, points were drawn at positions 3.5 cm left and right of the first line located on the front side, and a 7 cm straight line was drawn from the points toward the parietal portion. A point was drawn at a position located 3.5 cm laterally therefrom, a line was drawn using a compass to draw a shape having a radius of 3.5 cm about this point, and an eighth line having a tunnel shape was drawn. Three lines were drawn at intervals of 2 cm based on the eighth line, and eleven guidelines for fixing tape-shaped fasteners to the wig base cap were drawn in total. The same fastener base members as described above were used as the fastener base members. The fastener base member was cut to a length of 45 cm and a width of 2 cm, and a crease was formed along the center line in the width direction to produce the tape-shaped first fastener 102. As shown in FIG. 14A, the crease portions of the tape-shaped first fasteners 102 were sewn along the eleven guidelines 101 of the wig base cap 100 to produce the wig base cap provided with the first fasteners. The length direction of a first fastener extends along a guideline.
  • Then, as shown in FIGS. 14A and 14B, one surface of the second fastener 201 of the hair tress 200 was brought into contact with the lower side of the first fastener 102 of the wig base cap 100, and was pressed against thereto using a hand to be separably adhered thereto. Then, the upper side of the first fastener 102 was folded, was brought into contact with another surface of the second fastener 201 of the hair tress 200, and was pressed against thereto using a hand to be separably adhered thereto. The first fastener 102 is configured to cover the second fastener 201. A wig 300 as shown in FIG. 16 was obtained by respectively separably adhering the eleven first fasteners 102 provided in the wig base cap and the second fasteners of the eleven hair tresses 200 to each other, and fixing the hair tresses 200 to the wig base cap 100.
  • Example 2
  • Hair tresses provided with the second fasteners were produced in a manner similar to that of Example 1. A wig base cap similar to Example 1 was used as the wig base cap. The same fastener base member as that of Example 1 was cut to a length of 45 cm and a width of 1.5 cm, and a crease was formed in the length direction in a portion located 5 mm apart from one end thereof to produce a tape-shaped first fastener. Guide lines for disposing the first fasteners on the wig base cap were drawn in a manner similar to that of Example 1, and as shown in FIG. 15A the crease 104 of the first fastener 102 was sewn to a guide line 101 such that a wider portion thereof was located on the lower side, to produce a wig base cap provided with the first fasteners. Then, a wig 300 as shown in FIG. 16 was obtained in a manner similar to that of Example 1, except that as shown in FIGS. 15A and 15B, one surface of the second fastener 201 of the hair tress 200 was brought into contact with the lower side of the first fastener 102 of the wig base cap 100, and was pressed against thereto using a hand to be separably adhered thereto.
  • Example 3
  • A wig 300 as shown in FIG. 16 was obtained in a manner similar to that of Example 1, except that a wig base cap (“Mesh WEAVING CAP #4472” manufactured by Annie International Inc.) with stitches that were larger than those of the wig base cap used in Example 1 was used.
  • Example 4
  • A wig 300 as shown in FIG. 16 was obtained in a manner similar to that of Example 2, except that a wig base cap (“Mesh WEAVING CAP #4472” manufactured by Annie International Inc.) with stitches that were larger than those of the wig base cap used in Example 2 was used.
  • Example 5
  • A wig 300 as shown in FIG. 16 was obtained in a manner similar to that of Example 1, except that an autohesion adhesive was applied to an elastic fabric (“power-net” manufactured by Morikurosu Co., Ltd., 83 mass % polyurethane/17 mass % nylon, thickness was 0.31 to 0.33 mm) such that the autohesion adhesive had a thickness of 0.37 mm to 0.39 mm.
  • Example 6
  • A wig 300 as shown in FIG. 16 was obtained in a manner similar to that of Example 2, except that an autohesion adhesive was applied to an elastic fabric (“power-net” manufactured by Morikurosu Co., Ltd., 83 mass % polyurethane/17 mass % nylon, thickness was 0.31 to 0.33 mm) such that the autohesion adhesive had a thickness of 0.37 mm to 0.39 mm.
  • Example 7
  • A wig was produced using a method similar to that of Example 1, except that a synthetic isoprene-based adhesive (“CORETEX (registered trademark) IR-60” manufactured by MUSASHINO CHEMICAL CORPORATION, isoprene rubber latex containing synthetic isoprene rubber in an amount of about 60 wt %) was used as the autohesion adhesive.
  • Example 8
  • A wig was produced using a method similar to that of Example 1, except that an autohesion adhesive in which a natural rubber-based adhesive (“natural rubber adhesive: CORETEX AD-60” manufactured by MUSASHINO CHEMICAL CORPORATION) and a synthetic isoprene-based adhesive (“CORETEX (registered trademark) IR-60” manufactured by MUSASHINO CHEMICAL CORPORATION) were mixed in the ratio 30 wt % to 70 wt % was used as the autohesion adhesive.
  • Example 9
  • A wig was produced using a method similar to that of Example 1, except that an autohesion adhesive in which a natural rubber-based adhesive (“natural rubber adhesive: CORETEX AD-60” manufactured by MUSASHINO CHEMICAL CORPORATION) and a synthetic isoprene-based adhesive (“CORETEX (registered trademark) IR-60” manufactured by MUSASHINO CHEMICAL CORPORATION) were mixed in the ratio 50 wt % to 50 wt % was used as the autohesion adhesive.
  • Comparative Example 1
  • As shown in FIG. 6, a hair tress 30 was produced using polyester-based fibers (“Futura” manufactured by KANEKA CORPORATION). A wig base cap similar to that of Example 1 was used as the wig base cap, and guidelines for sewing the hair tresses were drawn in a manner similar to the method used in Example 1. Then, a wig was produced by sewing the roots of the hair tresses thereto using a commercially available weaving sewing thread (“Premium Weaving Set” manufactured by Annie International Inc.), along the guidelines drawn on the wig base cap.
  • Comparative Example 2
  • As shown in FIG. 6, a hair tress 30 was produced using polyester-based fibers (“Futura” manufactured by KANEKA CORPORATION). A wig base cap similar to that of Example 1 was used as the wig base cap, and guide lines for sewing the hair tresses were drawn in a manner similar to the method used in Example 1. Then, a wig was produced by fixing the roots of the hair tresses using a commercially available weaving bond (“SALON PRO 30 SECOND SUPER HAIR BOND GLUE” manufactured by Universal Beauty Products, Inc.), along the guidelines drawn on the wig base cap.
  • Comparative Example 3
  • A wig was produced in a manner similar to that of Comparative Example 2, except that a weaving bond (“SALON PRO HAIR BOND GLUE” manufactured by Universal Beauty Products, Inc.) was used.
  • Comparative Example 4
  • As shown in FIG. 6, a hair tress 30 was produced using polyester-based fibers (“Futura” manufactured by KANEKA CORPORATION). A wig base cap similar to that of Example 3 was used as the wig base cap, and guidelines for sewing the hair tresses were drawn in a manner similar to the method used in Example 1. Then, a wig was produced by fixing the roots of the hair tresses using a commercially available weaving bond (“SALON PRO 30 SECOND SUPER HAIR BOND GLUE” manufactured by Universal Beauty Products, Inc.) along the guidelines drawn on the wig base cap.
  • Comparative Example 5
  • A commercially available product (Snap Weave “Virgin Brazilian Hair 4B Curl Collection U-Part Cap Included”) was used. As shown in FIG. 17, a wig 400 was produced by fixing a button-shaped fixing portion 402 of a hair member to a button-shaped fixing portion 401 of the wig base cap.
  • Peel strengths between the wig base caps and the hair members of the wigs of the examples and the comparative examples were measured as follows, and the results thereof are shown in Table 1 below. Also, adhesive strengths between the first fasteners and the second fasteners of the wigs of the examples were measured as follows, and the results thereof are shown in Table 1 below. Also, time periods for producing wigs of the examples and the comparative examples were measured and evaluated, and the results thereof are shown in Table 1 below. The ease of changing the style of the wigs of Examples 1 to 9 was evaluated based on how easy the wig base cap and the hair member were to separate from each other, and the results thereof are shown in Table 1 below.
  • Peel Strength Between Wig Base Cap and Hair Member Measurement Conditions
  • The maximum load (N) applied when the wig base cap and the hair member are separated from each other was measured using a small desktop testing device (“FGS-1000TV-FGP-5” manufactured by NIDEC-SHIMPO CORPORATION) under the following test conditions.
  • The test conditions were as follows.
  • Test type: peel test
  • Test speed: 700 mm/min
  • Operation direction: PULL
  • Sample mounting jig: upper side (force gauge mounting side)=GC-2-5
      • lower side (stand mounting side)=GT-30-1
    Measuring Method
  • (1) Five portions were selected at random, portions where the wig base cap and the hair members were fixed were centered in the longitudinal direction, a wig base cap portion was cut to a longitudinal length of 4 cm and a lateral length of 2 cm, the hair members (hair tresses) were cut such that the length of fibers extending from the root was 3 cm, and the resulting sample was used as a measurement sample.
    (2) With the measurement sample, the wig base cap portion was folded in half at the center in the longitudinal direction, and a portion located 1 cm from an end thereof was fixed to the lower mounting side jig.
    (3) A portion of a hair tress located 1 cm from the root was fixed to the upper mounting side jig.
    (4) Measurement was carried out under the above-described measurement conditions.
  • Peel Strength
  • Peel strength (N/cm) was a value obtained by, based on the following equation, dividing the maximum load (N) measured as described above by the width of a portion where the wig base cap and a hair member were fixed to each other (corresponding to the length in the lateral direction), and an average value of peel strengths obtained at five portions was regarded as the peel strength between the wig base cap and the hair member.

  • Peel strength (N/cm) between wig base cap and hair member=maximum load (N)/2 cm
  • Adhesive Strength Between First Fastener and Second Fastener Measurement Conditions
  • Measurement conditions were the same as the measurement conditions under which peel strength between the wig base cap and the hair member was measured.
  • Measuring Method
  • (1) Sample I was prepared by selecting five portions at random, centering, in the longitudinal direction, portions where the wig base cap and the hair members were fixed, and cutting a wig base cap portion to a longitudinal length of 4 cm and a lateral length of 3 cm.
    (2) Sample II having a longitudinal length of 1 cm and a lateral length of 3 cm was obtained by cutting out, from Sample I, only a portion where the first fastener and the second fastener were adhered to each other.
    (3) Sample III was obtained by peeling apart, by 2 cm, the first fastener and the second fastener of Sample II from one end portion thereof in the lateral direction.
    (4) With Sample III, a portion of the peeled first fastener located 1 cm from the end thereof was fixed to the upper mounting jig.
    (5) With Sample III, a portion of the peeled second fastener located 1 cm from the end thereof was fixed to the lower mounting jig.
    (6) Measurement was carried out under the above-described measurement conditions.
  • Adhesive Strength
  • Adhesive strength (N/cm) was calculated by, based on the following equation, dividing the maximum load (N) measured as described above by the width of the portion where the second fastener and the first fastener were adhered to each other (corresponding to the length in the longitudinal direction), and an average value of adhesive strengths obtained at five portions was regarded as the adhesive strength between the first fastener and the second fastener.

  • Adhesive strength (N/cm) between first fastener and second fastener=maximum load (N)/1 cm
  • Time Period for Producing Wig
  • With Examples 1 to 9, a wig base cap with the first fasteners attached was placed on the mannequin head, and a time period was then measured from when the second fasteners of the hair tresses were separably adhered to all of the first fasteners of the wig base cap using the hair members (hair tresses) having the second fasteners to when the wig was complete. With Comparative Examples 1 to 4, a wig base cap was placed on the mannequin head, and a time period was then measured from when a guideline was drawn to when the wig was complete. With Comparative Example 5, a wig base cap was placed on the mannequin head, and a time period was then measured from when a button-shaped fixing portion of the hair member was fixed to a button-shaped fixing portion of the wig base cap to when the wig was complete. A wig was produced five times in Examples 1 to 6 and Comparative Examples 1 to 5, and an average value thereof was regarded as the time period for producing a wig. Note that seconds were all rounded down in the results of measurement of each production time period.
  • Ease of Changing Style
  • After the time periods for producing wigs of Examples 1 to 9 were measured, time periods for detaching the second fasteners of the hair tresses from all of the first fasteners of the wig base cap (referred to as a “hair member peeling time” hereinafter) were measured. The hair member peeling time was measured four times, and the ease of changing the style was evaluated according to the following criteria based on an average value thereof.
  • 1: Time period required for detachment was 30 minutes or more, and thus the ease of changing the style was somewhat poor.
    2: Time period required for detachment was 20 minutes or more and less than 30 minutes, and thus the ease of changing the style was favorable.
    3: Time period required for detachment was less than 20 minutes, and thus the ease of changing the style was very good.

  • As can be understood from the results of Table 1 above, if the wig kits of the examples are used, the wigs can be easily produced in a short period of time, and wigs from which the hair members are unlikely to detach can be obtained.
  • Although the disclosure has been described with respect to only a limited number of embodiments, those skilled in the art, having benefit of this disclosure, will appreciate that various other embodiments may be devised without departing from the scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the scope of the invention should be limited only by the attached claims.

Claims (20)

What is claimed is:
1. A wig kit, comprising:
a wig base cap; and
one or more hair members,
wherein the wig base cap is provided with one or more first fasteners,
wherein the one or more hair members are each provided with a second fastener each having adhesiveness to the first fastener, and
wherein the one or more hair members are fixed to the wig base cap through the second fastener separably adhered to the first fastener.
2. The wig kit according to claim 1, wherein an autohesion adhesive is disposed on one or both surfaces of the first fastener and one or both surfaces of the second fastener, and the second fastener and the first fastener adheres to each other via the autohesion adhesive.
3. The wig kit according to claim 1, wherein at least one of the first fastener and the second fastener has a tape shape.
4. The wig kit according to any claim 1, wherein the first fastener has a crease.
5. The wig kit according to claim 1, wherein only a crease portion of the first fastener is fixed to the wig base cap.
6. The wig kit according to claim 1, wherein peel strength between the wig base cap and the one or more hair members is 20 to 50 N/cm.
7. The wig kit according to claim 1, wherein the one or more hair members each comprise a hair tress constituted by a fiber bundle having a root portion where fibers are linked to each other, and the second fastener is disposed at the root portion.
8. The wig kit according to claim 1, wherein the one or more hair members each comprise a hairpiece constituted by a base portion and fibers implanted in the base portion, and
wherein the second fastener is disposed at a peripheral edge portion of the base portion.
9. The wig kit according to claim 1, wherein adhesive strength between the second fastener and the first fastener is 1 to 9 N/cm.
10. The wig kit according to claim 2, wherein the autohesion adhesive is an adhesive composition containing one or more adhesive components selected from the group consisting of natural rubber, natural rubber derivatives obtained by grafting an unsaturated monomer onto natural rubber, and synthetic rubber, and
when the total amount of natural rubber and/or a natural rubber derivative and synthetic rubber is 100 mass %, the content of the natural rubber and/or the natural rubber derivative is 30 mass % or more.
11. A method for producing a wig, comprising fixing one or more hair members to a wig base cap,
wherein the wig base cap is provided with one or more first fasteners,
wherein the one or more hair members are each provided with a second fastener each having adhesiveness to the first fastener, and
wherein the one or more hair members are fixed to the wig base cap through the second fastener separably adhered to the first fastener.
12. The method for producing a wig according to claim 11, wherein one surface of the first fastener and one surface of the second fastener are adhered to each other.
13. The method for producing a wig according to claim 11, wherein the first fastener and the second fastener are adhered to each other such that the second fastener is held by the first fastener.
14. The method for producing a wig according to claim 11, wherein an autohesion adhesive is disposed on one or both surfaces of the first fastener and one or both surfaces of the second fastener, and the second fastener and the first fastener adheres to each other via the autohesion adhesive.
15. The method for producing a wig according to claim 11, wherein at least one of the first fastener and the second fastener has a tape shape.
16. The method for producing a wig according to claim 11 wherein peel strength between the wig base cap and the one or more hair members is 20 to 50 N/cm.
17. The method for producing a wig according to claim 11, wherein the one or more hair members each comprise a hair tress constituted by a fiber bundle having a root portion where fibers are linked to each other, and the second fastener is disposed at the root portion.
18. The method for producing a wig according to claim 11, wherein the one or more hair members each comprise a hairpiece constituted by a base portion and fibers implanted in the base portion, and
wherein the second fastener is disposed at a peripheral edge portion of the base portion.
19. The method for producing a wig according to claim 11, wherein adhesive strength between the second fastener and the first fastener is 1 to 9 N/cm.
20. The method for producing a wig according to claim 14, wherein the autohesion adhesive is an adhesive composition containing one or more adhesive components selected from the group consisting of natural rubber, natural rubber derivatives obtained by grafting an unsaturated monomer onto natural rubber, and synthetic rubber, and
when the total amount of natural rubber and/or a natural rubber derivative and synthetic rubber is 100 mass %, the content of the natural rubber and/or the natural rubber derivative is 30 mass % or more.
