Description
- This application claims the benefit of U.S. Provisional Application No. 62/720,462 filed on Aug. 21, 2018 and U.S. Design patent application No. 29/694,315 filed on Jun. 10, 2019. The above identified patent application is herein incorporated by reference in its entirety to provide continuity of disclosure.
- The present invention relates to a body cleansing device. More particularly, the present invention provides a cleansing glove having a palm portion and a back portion. A plurality of Finger portions may be attached to the palm and back portion of the glove. A wrist opening may be disposed opposite the finger portions. A cleaning material attached to the underside of the finger portions and the palm portion forming a cleaning surface. The cleaning surface may form a plurality of curved ridges.
- People of all ages need to bathe themselves or others regularly. This can be a difficult task if an individual is particularly dirty. For example, if an individual was covered in mud. This task can be compounded if one is trying to bathe another, for example a child or elderly individual. It can be difficult to ensure that one is properly clean with the current devices for cleaning. These devices can be difficult to hold and clean all necessary areas. This includes all hard to reach areas and in between small areas.
- Consequently, there is a need in for an improvement in the art of cleaning one's self or others. The present invention substantially diverges in design elements from the known art while at the same time solves a problem many people face in bathing. In this regard, the present invention substantially fulfills these needs.
- The present invention provides a body cleansing glove wherein the same can be utilized for providing convenience for the user when bathing themselves or another. The present device comprises a cleansing glove having a palm portion and a back portion.
- Another object of the body cleansing glove is to have the cleaning surface attached to the glove in a bunched configuration.
- Another object of the body cleansing glove is to have the cleaning surface be a washcloth material.
- Another object of the body cleansing glove is to have the cleaning surface be a loofa material.
- Another object of the body cleansing glove is to have the glove made of cotton.
- Another object of the body cleansing glove is to have a wrist cuff attached to the glove, wherein the wrist cuff is elastic.
- Another object of the body cleansing glove is to have a loop attached to the glove, wherein the loop can be used to hang the glove.
- Other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
- Although the characteristic features of this invention will be particularly pointed out in the claims, the invention itself and manner in which it may be made and used may be better understood after a review of the following description, taken in connection with the accompanying drawings wherein like numeral annotations are provided throughout.
-
FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the body cleansing glove with a washcloth cleansing surface. -
FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the body cleansing glove with a loofa cleansing surface. -
FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the body cleansing glove with an elongated wrist portion. -
FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the body cleansing glove with a loop attached to the glove which allows the glove to hang. - Reference is made herein to the attached drawings. Like reference numerals are used throughout the drawings to depict like or similar elements of the body cleansing glove. For the purposes of presenting a brief and clear description of the present invention, the preferred embodiment will be discussed as used for the body cleansing glove. The figures are intended for representative purposes only and should not be considered to be limiting in any respect.
- Referring now to
FIG. 1 , there is shown a perspective view of an embodiment of the body cleansing glove with a washcloth cleansing surface. Thebody cleansing glove 100 has apalm portion 101 and a back portion. Where thepalm portion 101 is attached to the back portion such that a user may then place a hand there between. In one embodiment, the glove is configured to be a one size fits most. In another embodiment, the glove can be made in specific sizes. The cleaning surface of the glove may come in children or adult sizes. In yet another embodiment, the glove is stretchy. This will allow for the glove to be a one size fits most and still cling to the user's hand. The glove may be made from cotton or polyester. In other embodiments, the glove can be made from other suitable materials. The glove may be porous to allow water to pass through the glove. This will prevent the glove from becoming filled with water during use. - There is a plurality of
fingers 102 attached to an end of theglove 100. The plurality of fingers may include a pointer finger, a middle finger, a ring finger, a pinky finger, a thumb, or any combination thereof. There is a wrist opening 103 opposite the plurality offingers 102. Thewrist opening 103 is configured to receive a wrist of a user.
