The present device comprises a cleansing glove having a palm portion and a back portion. A plurality of Finger portions may be attached to the palm and back portion of the glove. A wrist opening may be disposed opposite the finger portions. A cleaning material attached to the underside of the finger portions and the palm portion forming a cleaning surface. The cleaning surface may form a plurality of curved ridges.
  • Another object of the body cleansing glove is to have the cleaning surface attached to the glove in a bunched configuration.
  • Another object of the body cleansing glove is to have the cleaning surface be a washcloth material.
  • Another object of the body cleansing glove is to have the cleaning surface be a loofa material.
  • Another object of the body cleansing glove is to have the glove made of cotton.
  • Another object of the body cleansing glove is to have a wrist cuff attached to the glove, wherein the wrist cuff is elastic.
  • Another object of the body cleansing glove is to have a loop attached to the glove, wherein the loop can be used to hang the glove.
  • Other objects, features and advantages of the present invention will become apparent from the following detailed description taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • Although the characteristic features of this invention will be particularly pointed out in the claims, the invention itself and manner in which it may be made and used may be better understood after a review of the following description, taken in connection with the accompanying drawings wherein like numeral annotations are provided throughout.
  • FIG. 1 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the body cleansing glove with a washcloth cleansing surface.
  • FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the body cleansing glove with a loofa cleansing surface.
  • FIG. 3 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the body cleansing glove with an elongated wrist portion.
  • FIG. 4 shows a perspective view of an embodiment of the body cleansing glove with a loop attached to the glove which allows the glove to hang.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • Reference is made herein to the attached drawings. Like reference numerals are used throughout the drawings to depict like or similar elements of the body cleansing glove. For the purposes of presenting a brief and clear description of the present invention, the preferred embodiment will be discussed as used for the body cleansing glove. The figures are intended for representative purposes only and should not be considered to be limiting in any respect.
  • Referring now to FIG. 1, there is shown a perspective view of an embodiment of the body cleansing glove with a washcloth cleansing surface. The body cleansing glove 100 has a palm portion 101 and a back portion. Where the palm portion 101 is attached to the back portion such that a user may then place a hand there between. In one embodiment, the glove is configured to be a one size fits most. In another embodiment, the glove can be made in specific sizes. The cleaning surface of the glove may come in children or adult sizes. In yet another embodiment, the glove is stretchy. This will allow for the glove to be a one size fits most and still cling to the user's hand. The glove may be made from cotton or polyester. In other embodiments, the glove can be made from other suitable materials. The glove may be porous to allow water to pass through the glove. This will prevent the glove from becoming filled with water during use.
  • There is a plurality of fingers 102 attached to an end of the glove 100. The plurality of fingers may include a pointer finger, a middle finger, a ring finger, a pinky finger, a thumb, or any combination thereof. There is a wrist opening 103 opposite the plurality of fingers 102. The wrist opening 103 is configured to receive a wrist of a user. The palm portion 101 and the plurality of fingers 102 has a cleansing surface 104 attached thereto. In one embodiment, the cleansing surface may be a washcloth textured surface. The cleansing surface may be bunched to form ridges. The ridges and bunching will allow for a greater cleaning surface area. The washcloth surface will allow an individual to clean a body and remove dirt and grime from the skin.
  • Referring now to FIG. 2, there is shown a perspective view of an embodiment of the body cleansing glove with a loofa cleansing surface. In a second embodiment, the body cleansing glove 100 may have a loofa cleansing surface 201. A loofa will allow an individual to better cleanse a body of dead skin. The loofa surface 201 can be bunched on the gloved such that it retains the functionality of the traditional loofa. In this embodiment, the glove will give a user a better grip and control of the cleansing surface.
  • Referring now to FIG. 3, there is shown a perspective view of an embodiment of the body cleansing glove with an elongated wrist portion. The glove 100 may have an elongated wrist portion 301. This wrist portion may be elastic to better hold the glove on a user's hand. The elastic can be created using a plurality of grooves 302 that expand and contract to conform to the wrist. In one embodiment, the elastic portion can be an adjustable strap that goes around the wrist and secures to itself. The strap may have the ability to flex such that circulation is not cut off from the user's hand.
  • Referring now to FIG. 4, there is shown a perspective view of an embodiment of the body cleansing glove with a loop attached to the glove. The glove 100 may have a loop 401 attached thereto. In one embodiment the loop 401 is attached to the wrist portion. The loop is used to hang the glove when not in use. This will allow the glove to be cleaned or dried. In a second embodiment, the loop 401 may be a piece of cloth. The loop may be used to hang the glove in order to allow it to dry after use.
  • In use, an individual may place their hand inside of the glove. The person may then place a cleaning product on the cleansing surface of the glove. The individual may then wash themselves or another. Once the washing process is complete, the individual can hang the glove from the loop.
  • It is therefore submitted that the instant invention has been shown and described in what is considered to be the most practical and preferred embodiments. It is recognized, however, that departures may be made within the scope of the invention and that obvious modifications will occur to a person skilled in the art. With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of the invention, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by the present invention.
  • Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the invention. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the invention to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the invention.
