  • Said exterior rim 114 can comprise a loop comprising a substantially cylindrical cross-section extruded between a first head end 120 and a second head end 122.   • Said first head net assembly 302 a can comprise said canvas portion 304, said net portion 306, said outer rim sleeve 308, and said inner rim sleeve 310; said second head net assembly 302 b can comprise said net portion 306, said outer rim sleeve 308, and said inner rim sleeve 310; and said third head net assembly 302 c can comprise said net portion 306, and said inner rim sleeve 310.
  • In one embodiment, said first head net assembly 302 a can comprise a center sleeve 312 configured to allow a portion of said interior portion 118 to pass through a portion of said first head net assembly 302 a, as illustrated.
  • In one embodiment, said one or more head net assemblies 302 can be sewn around portions of said head assembly 102 or selectively removed, repaired and/or replaced.
  • FIG. 4 illustrates an elevated front view of said head assembly 102 with said first head net assembly 302 a prior to being attached to said exterior rim 114, and said interior rim 116.
  • In one embodiment, said one or more head net assemblies 302 can comprise a textile material formed from a pattern and sewn together, as is known in the art. In one embodiment, said first head net assembly 302 a can comprise said canvas portion 304, and said net portion 306.
  • Said canvas portion 304 can comprise a center aperture 402, a surplus outer rim material 404 for said outer rim sleeve 308, and a lower carve out 406.
  • Said center aperture 402 can be approximately the same diameter as said interior rim 116.
  • In one embodiment, said surplus outer rim material 404 can be wrapped around said exterior rim 114 and sewn to create said outer rim sleeve 308.
  • Said lower carve out 406 can be used to clear egress for said interior portion 118, said first head end 120, said second head end 122, and/or said head attachment manifold 124.
  • Said center sleeve 312 can be sewn around a portion of said interior portion 118 and against a portion of said canvas portion 304.
  • Said net portion 306 can comprise a substantially round piece comprising a surplus inner rim material 408, as illustrated. Said net portion 306 can be approximately the same diameter as said interior rim 116 and can be sewn into said canvas portion 304 and substantially around said interior rim 116 using said surplus inner rim material 408.
  • FIG. 5 illustrates an elevated front view of said goal assembly 100 being assembled.
  • In one embodiment, said first end 110 of said first end 110 of said post assembly 106, said first head end 120, and said second head end 122 can slide into a portion of said head attachment manifold 124; an additional portion of said post assembly 106 can slide through said head attachment manifold 124 and into said base portion 104. Accordingly, said head attachment manifold 124 can hold together said post assembly 106 and said head assembly 102.
  • FIG. 6 illustrates a perspective overview of said head attachment manifold 124, said post assembly 106, and said head assembly 102.
  • In one embodiment, said head attachment manifold 124 can comprise a three apertures 602 comprising a two head apertures 604 and a post aperture 606, as illustrated.
  • FIG. 7 illustrates a perspective lower view of said head attachment manifold 124, said post assembly 106, and said head assembly 102.
  • FIG. 8 illustrates an elevated front view of a tensioned configuration 802 of said interior rim 116.
  • In one embodiment, said net portion 306 can comprise an inner rim net 810 and an exterior rim net 812.
  • In one embodiment, said tensioned configuration 802 can comprise said interior rim 116 suspended and centered within said exterior rim 114 with a three or more centering bands 804. In one embodiment, said three or more centering bands 804 can comprise a first band 806 a, a second band 806 b, and a third band 806 c; and, as illustrated, said three or more centering bands 804 can further comprise a fourth band 806 d. In one embodiment, said three or more centering bands 804 can comprise an elastic material and an adjustable clasp 808, such as is known among bungie cords. Said three or more centering bands 804 can each loop around a portion of said exterior rim 114, and said interior rim 116; wherein, said three or more centering bands 804 and serve to center said exterior rim 114, and said interior rim 116 relative to one another. In one embodiment, said fourth band 806 d can loop around said interior rim 116 and a lower indention 818 of said exterior rim net 812.
  • In one embodiment, said three or more centering bands 804 can weave in and out of portions of said exterior rim net 812 to create a net subsections 814 which can comprise a first quadrant net 816 a, a second quadrant net 816 b, a third quadrant net 816 c, and a fourth quadrant net 816 d; wherein, the number of quadrants can be determined by the number of said three or more centering bands 804 employed in centering said interior rim 116.
  • In one embodiment, said outer rim sleeve 308 can extend around said exterior rim 114 with a first sleeve end 820 and a second sleeve end 822 substantially near to said first inner rim end 130 and said second inner rim end 132. In one embodiment, said fourth band 806 d can hold said first sleeve end 820, and said second sleeve end 822 at a bottom end of said tensioned configuration 802 near to said first inner rim end 130 and said second inner rim end 132.
  • FIG. 9 illustrates a perspective overview of said tensioned configuration 802 of said interior rim 116.
  • Said tensioned configuration 802 can comprise a two slots 902 for selectively receiving and holding said first inner rim end 130 and said second inner rim end 132, as illustrated.
  • In one embodiment, said post assembly 106 can be affixed to said base portion 104 with a set screw 904.
  • FIGS. 10A and 10B illustrate a perspective overview and an elevated cross-section front view of said two slots 902.
  • In one embodiment, said two slots 902 can comprise a first side 1000 a, a second side 1000 b, two sides 1002, a first upper socket 1002 a, a second upper socket 1002 b, a first aperture 1004 a, a second aperture 1004 b, a third aperture 1004 c, a fourth aperture 1004 d, and a plurality of apertures 1006.
  • FIG. 11 illustrates a perspective back side view of said head assembly 102 with said net assembly 108.
  • In one embodiment, said net assembly 108 can billow out away from said exterior rim 114, and said interior rim 116. Said three or more centering bands 804 along with said exterior rim 114, and said interior rim 116 can define said inner rim net 810, said net subsections 814, said first quadrant net 816 a, said second quadrant net 816 b, said third quadrant net 816 c, and said fourth quadrant net 816 d.
  • FIG. 12 illustrates a perspective overview of said head assembly 102 with said one or more head net assemblies 302.
  • FIG. 13 illustrates an elevated front view said goal assembly 100 with said interior rim 116 in upper post configuration 1302.
  • In one embodiment, said upper post configuration 1302 can comprise attaching said exterior rim 114, and said interior rim 116 to one another at an upper point 1310 of said exterior rim 114 with a connector extension 1308
  • FIGS. 14A, 14B and 14C illustrate three perspective overviews of said adjustable clasp 808.
  • Said adjustable clasp 808 can comprise an upper post 1402, a lower post 1404, a lever 1408, a rim 1410, a lower portion 1412, an upper portion 1414, a head 1416, a hinge 1418, an internal cavity 1420, a locked configuration 1420 a, and an unlocked configuration 1420 b.
  • FIG. 15 illustrates a perspective overview of said goal assembly 100 in use receiving a ball 1502.

  • Said square head configuration 1704 can comprise an inner portions 1710, and an outer portions 1708.
  • In one embodiment, said outer portions 1708 can comprise a plurality of corners 1712, a plurality of T-joints 1714, and a plurality of straight portions 1716; and said inner portions 1710 can comprise a plurality of inner dividers 1718.
  • Said plurality of corners 1712 can comprise four corners; said plurality of T-joints 1714 can comprise five T-joints; and said plurality of straight portions 1716 can comprise nine straight portions, as illustrated.
  • Said plurality of corners 1712 can be at the four corners of said square head configuration 1704 to form a rectangular shape, as illustrated.
  • As illustrated, said plurality of inner dividers 1718 can comprise two dividers and can create a plurality of target zones 1720, such as a first target zone 1722, a second target zone 1724 and a third target zone 1726.
  • FIG. 18 illustrates an elevated front view of said goal assembly 100 with said square head configuration 1704.
  • FIGS. 19A and 19B illustrate an elevated front view and perspective overview of unsecured base 1904 in a cross-section view.
  • Said unsecured base 1904 can comprise a central aperture 1902, a cavity 1906, a central shaft 1908, one or more dimples 1910, a first dimple 1910 a, a second dimple 1910 b, a third dimple 1910 c, and a fourth dimple 1910 d.
  • Said unsecured base 1904 can be used in place of said base portion 104 according to user preferences. In one embodiment, said unsecured base 1904 can be adapted for using said goal assembly 100 on a solid surface such as packed dirt or concrete. In one embodiment, said cavity 1906 can be sealed to remain empty or comprise openings to receive water or sand to hold said goal assembly 100 down. In one embodiment, said one or more dimples 1910 can allow said unsecured base 1904 to sit on an uneven surface securely.
  • FIG. 20 illustrates an elevated front view of a simple configuration 2002 of said head assembly 102.
  • In one embodiment, said simple configuration 2002 can comprise said head assembly 102 without said interior rim 116.

Claims (1)

1. A goal assembly configured for receiving a ball, wherein:
said goal assembly comprising a net assembly, a post assembly, a base portion, and a head assembly;
said post assembly having a second end, and a first end;
said head assembly comprises said net assembly and an exterior rim;
said net assembly is attached about said exterior rim of said head assembly;
said base portion comprises a point, and a helical threads;
said point is configured to penetrate a ground surface;
said helical threads are configured to anchor said goal assembly within said ground; and
said net assembly comprises a one or more nets.
