Description

    BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a suitcase, and more particularly to a suitcase having multiple holding spaces.
  • 2. Description of Related Art
  • A suitcase is applied to hold personal belongings of a user during traveling. A conventional suitcase substantially comprises a body. The body is usually composed of two casings connected with each other to define one or two holding spaces in the body and to allow a user to put different kinds of objects in the holding space(s) respectively.
  • However, only one or two holding spaces cannot allow the user to arrange objects into more than three groups, so the conventional suitcase is inconvenient in use.
  • In addition, to allow the user to put a laptop computer or a pad computer in the suitcase, a computer bag is disposed in an inner surface of one of the casings of the suitcase.
  • However, because the computer bag is mounted on one of the casings of the body, the computer held in the computer bag is kept in contact with the corresponding casing. When the casing is hit with an external force, the computer held in the computer bag is easily damaged. Furthermore, to attach the computer bag onto the casing of the body is complicated in the manufacturing process.
  • To overcome the shortcomings, the present invention tends to provide a suitcase to mitigate or obviate the aforementioned problems.
  • SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION
  • The main objective of the invention is to provide a suitcase having multiple holding spaces.
  • The suitcase has a body and two zippers. The body has a first casing, a second casing, a middle layer, and a computer bag. The first casing has a side edge and a division layer mounted in the first casing to divide the first casing into two holding spaces. The second casing has a side edge connected with the side edge of the first casing and a division layer mounted in the second casing to divide the second casing into two holding spaces. The middle layer is mounted between the first casing and the second casing and has a side edge connected with the side edges of the first casing and the second casing. The computer bag is mounted on the middle layer at a side facing one of the first and second casings. The two zippers are mounted between the first and second casings and the middle layer and include a first zipper mounted between the first casing and the middle layer and a second zipper mounted between the second casing and the middle layer.
  • Other objects, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a side view of a suitcase in accordance with the present invention;
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the suitcase in FIG. 1 showing that the body is opened;
  • FIG. 3 is another operational perspective view of the suitcase in FIG. 1; and
  • FIG. 4 is an operational side view of the computer bag of the suitcase in FIG. 1.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
  • With reference to FIGS. 1 to 3, a suitcase in accordance with the present invention may be a luggage or a hand held bag and comprises a body 10 and two zippers 30,32. The body 10 is composed of a first casing 12, a second casing 14, and a middle layer 20. The first casing 12 has a side edge connected with a side edge of the second casing 14. The middle layer 20 is disposed between the first and the second casings 12,14 and has a side edge connected with the side edges of the first and the second casings 12,14. In addition, each one of the first and second casings 12,14 has a division layer 122,142 mounted in the casing 12,14 to divide the casing 12,14 into two holding spaces. Preferably, the division layer 122,142 of each casing 12,14 is made of fabric or net and is connected with an inner surface of the casing 12,14 with a connection device. The connection device may be a zipper.
  • In addition, the middle layer 20 has a computer bag 22 mounted on a side facing one of the casings 12,14. Preferably, the computer bag 22 is mounted on the side of the middle layer 20 facing the second casing 14.
  • The two zippers 30,32 are mounted between the casings 12,14 and the middle layer 20 and include a first zipper 30 mounted between the first casing 12 and the middle layer 20 and a second zipper 32 mounted between the second casing 14 and the middle layer 20.
  • With such an arrangement, four holding spaces are defined in the body 10, so a user can arrange different kinds of objects respectively in the holding spaces. Therefore, the suitcase in accordance with the present invention is convenient in use.
  • In addition, with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4, because the computer bag 22 is mounted on the middle layer 20, the computer bag 22 is away from six sides of the body 10 and is kept from contact with the casings 12,14. Therefore, the computer bag 22 is substantially suspended inside the body 10. Accordingly, a computer held in the computer bag 22 can be kept from being damaged when the body 10 is hit with an external force from any side of the body 10. Additionally, after the second zipper 32 is released, the computer held in the computer bag 22 can be conveniently taken out from the computer bag 22 for use.
  • Furthermore, the middle layer 20 and the computer bag 22 can be made of fabric, so the computer bag 22 can be sewn onto the side of the middle layer 20 easily. Therefore, to dispose the computer bag 22 in the body 10 is convenient and takes a lowered cost.
  • Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description, together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only and changes may be made in detail, especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
