Abstract
A playing figure is provided having a body conformed at least in part from an elastic material and having at least one hollow cavity provided with an opening towards the exterior so that the cavity is close to the opening. A perimetral retention seat for the contour of a detachable piece is also provided, the detachable piece has decorative motifs on at least one of its faces.
Description
- The present invention refers to a figure for playing comprising a body of any external shape and dimensions suitable for being transported in one hand or in a pocket.
- This figure for playing presents a body formed, in its totality or in part, in an elastic material, presenting said body certain features aimed at permitting the assembly and disassembly in the same of a detachable piece bearing decorative motifs; and in consequence varying the aspect of the figure.
- A high number of figures for playing currently exist in the market, which have reduced dimensions and are suitable to be comfortably transported by children in their hand or in a pocket, and which present varying external forms, being fantasy, imitating an object, or humanoid form.
- These figures are usually formed by a single-piece rigid body of an invariable aspect.
- Some figures for playing of this type are described, for example, in utility model ES1094558U or in utility model applications U200402725 and U200201239.
- The technical problem set out is the development of a figure for playing which permits realizing in a comfortable manner, as the game progresses, the successive assembly and disassembly of a piece bearing decorative motives; and which permits varying the aspect or characterization of said play-piece.
- The figure for playing object of this invention, comprising a body of any external shape and reduced dimensions suitable for its transport in one hand or in a pocket, presents certain constructive features aimed at satisfactorily resolving the afore-mentioned problem.
- To this effect, and according to the invention, the totality or a part of the body of the figure is conformed in an elastic material and presents at least one hollow cavity provided with an opening towards the exterior; presenting said cavity internally and close to the opening, a perimetral retention seat for the contour of a detachable piece, which presents decorative motifs on at least one first face.
- In an assembly position of the detachable piece in the elastic body, said first face bearing the first decorative motifs is disposed oriented towards the exterior of the figure and is visible through the opening of the body.
- The possibility for releasing the detachable piece permits varying the characterization of the figure for playing by means of its assembly and disassembly and using this detachable piece as an independent playing piece once separated from the body of the figure.
- Another feature of the invention consists in that the hollow cavity presents behind the perimetral seat, and towards its back, a segment of decreasing cross-section which, once pressed in a transversal direction, is elastically deformed together with the opening, expelling the detachable piece from the perimetral seat of the elastic body.
- This feature permits the easy disassembling, and re-assembling, of the detachable piece by the player, by simply elastically deforming the elastic material of the body of the figure, and without needing the use any additional object.
- According to the invention, said detachable piece presents: a flattened configuration, a second face bearing second decorative motifs and a symmetric contour which permits its reversible assembly on the perimetral seat of the body of the figure, such that the first or second decorative motifs of the detachable piece appear in a visible position as a function of the assembly position of the detachable piece in the body of the figure, thereby varying the aspect of the figure for playing.
- The features of the invention will be more easily understood in view of the example embodiment shown in the annexed drawings described in the following.
- To complement the afore-mentioned description and with the objective of facilitating the understanding of the features of the invention, a set of drawings is annexed to the present specification in which, with illustrative and non-limiting character, the following has been represented:
-
FIG. 1 shows a schematic perspective view of an example embodiment of the figure for playing according to the invention with the detachable piece mounted in the body of elastic material of the figure for playing. -
FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the body of elastic material of the previous figure and the disassembled detachable piece in two different positions permitting observing the decorative motifs of its two opposing faces. -
FIG. 3 shows a floor plan view of the figure for playing sectioned by a horizontal plane, in which the detachable piece mounted on the perimetral retention seat of the piece of elastic material can be observed. -
FIG. 4 shows an analogous section to that ofFIG. 3 with the detachable piece dismounted from the body of the figure. - In the example embodiment shown in
FIG. 1 , the figure for playing presents a body (1) conformed in its totality in an elastic material and a detachable piece (2), of rigid material, mounted in a hollow cavity (10) of the body (1) of elastic material. - The elastic material of the body (1) is of rubber or similar, while the rigid material of the detachable piece (2) is of plastic, resin or similar.
- As can be observed in
FIG. 2 , the hollow cavity (10) of the body (1) has an opening (11) and internally, close to said opening (11), a perimetral seat (12) for the housing and retention of the contour of the detachable piece (2) in an assembled position. - This detachable piece presents a first face (21) bearing first decorative motifs (22), a second face (23) bearing second decorative motifs (24), and a symmetric contour (25) suitable for reversibly assembling it in the perimetral seat (12) of the body (1) of elastic material.
- The first (22) or second (24) decorative motifs are visible from the exterior of the figure, and through the opening (11), as a function of the assembly position of the detachable piece (2) in the body (1); thereby presenting the figure for playing two different characterizations or aspects.
- As can be observed from the cross-section view of
FIGS. 2 and 3 , the hollow cavity (10) of the body (1) presents behind the perimetral seat (12) and towards its back, a segment (13) of decreasing cross-section, in this case stepped, which on being pressed in transversal direction is elastically deformed together with the opening (11) of the cavity (10), causing the expulsion of the detachable piece (2) from the perimetral seat (12) and its liberation from the body (1) of the figure for playing. - Once the nature of the invention has been sufficiently described, as well as an example preferred embodiment, it is made known for the appropriate purposes that the materials, forms, sizes and disposition of the described elements can be modified as long as it does not result in an alteration of the essential features of the invention which are claimed in the following.
