  • The various embodiments of the present invention will hereinafter be described in conjunction with the appended drawings, wherein like designations denote like elements.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • As discussed above, embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a dispenser and more particularly to a tissue box holder system as used to improve the mounting of a tissue box on a surface for use.
  • Generally, the present invention provides a holder for cube-shaped tissue boxes that can be mounted on the dashboard of a vehicle. This allows for access to tissues by either the driver or the front seat passenger. It positions the opening of the box on the side instead of on the top to provide accessibility. This further ensures that the tissue box is secured to the dashboard to prevent it from sliding around the vehicle. The present invention affords users the ability to easily replace the tissue box within the holder when empty.
  • Tissue box holder system is designed to secure a full-size tissue box to the dashboard of a vehicle. The invention is comprised of a tissue holder made from metal, plastic, leather, or other suitable material with an oval opening on the side/front for easy access to the tissues. The base of the holder may be secured to the dashboard using hook and loop fasteners or adhesive. There may be a lock release button on each side to remove the base. When the base is removed, there is easy access to refill the tissues by inserting the entire tissue box inside. The holder is intended for use in a vehicle but may be mounted in other desired locations. The holder may be available in various colors, designs, materials, and finishes.
  • Referring now more specifically to the drawings by numerals of reference, there is shown in FIGS. 1-5, various views of a tissue box holder system 100. FIG. 1 shows a tissue box holder system 100 during an ‘in-use’ condition 150, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As illustrated, the tissue box holder system 100 may include a tissue dispenser assembly 110 having a receptacle 120 having a plurality of sidewalls 122, and a base 128 having a fastener 132, and a receiver 136. The tissue dispenser assembly 110 includes the receptacle 120 defined by the plurality of sidewalls 122 and configured to receive a tissue box and dispense tissues therefrom. The fastener 132 of the base 128 is configured to mate with the receiver 136 and secure the tissue dispenser assembly 110 to a planar surface. The base 128 is coupled to the receptacle 120.
  • FIG. 2 shows a perspective view of the tissue box holder system 100 of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As above, the tissue box holder system 100 may include the receptacle 120 with a cube-shaped profile and a substantially planar base 128 having a fastener 132 configured to attach to the receiver 136. A user may install the receiver 136 on a planar surface such as the dashboard of a vehicle to support the receptacle 120 and base 128 in a desired position. The receiver 136 when coupled to the fastener 132, prevents movement of the receptacle 120. The receiver 136 is a female-fastener and the fastener 132 is a male-fastener. The female-fastener removably couples to the male-fastener. The female-fastener and the male-fastener comprise hook-and-loop fasteners. The fastener 132 may further comprise adhesive or other suitable fastening means.
  • FIGS. 3-4 show various perspective views of the tissue box holder system 100 of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As above, the tissue box holder system 100 may include the receptacle 120 having the plurality of sidewalls 122 and the base 128, and the receiver 136 designed to be used in combination to secure a full-size tissue box to a dashboard of a vehicle or other non-vehicular planar surface. The base 128 is removably coupled to the receptacle 120. The base 128 may be removed to replace the tissue box when empty. In a preferred embodiment, the receptacle 120 comprises lock release buttons 124 configured to release the base 128 from the receptacle 120 when pushed. The receptacle 120 comprises receiving-apertures 126. The base 128 further comprises prongs 130. The receiving-apertures 126 configured to receive the prongs 130 and secure the base 128 to the receptacle 120. In other embodiments, other means may be used to fasten the base 128 to the receptacle 120.
  • FIG. 5 shows a perspective view of the tissue box holder system 100 of FIG. 1, according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. As above, the tissue box holder system 100 may include the receptacle 120 having the plurality of sidewalls 122 and the base 128, and the receiver 136. One of the plurality of sidewalls 122 comprises an aperture 134 for dispensing the tissues therethrough. The aperture 134 is not positioned on a top-portion, but rather a side-portion or front of the receptacle 120 such that a user can easily access and remove tissues from the receptacle. In a preferred embodiment, the aperture 134 is oval-shaped, however, other shapes and designs may be used.
  • The embodiments of the invention described herein are exemplary and numerous modifications, variations and rearrangements can be readily envisioned to achieve substantially equivalent results, all of which are intended to be embraced within the spirit and scope of the invention. Further, the purpose of the foregoing abstract is to enable the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the public generally, and especially the scientist, engineers and practitioners in the art who are not familiar with patent or legal terms or phraseology, to determine quickly from a cursory inspection the nature and essence of the technical disclosure of the application.
