There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
  • The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING(S)
  • The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
  • FIG. 1 is an isometric perspective view of a trouser suspending device according to an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 2 is a front view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 3 is a rear view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 4 is a side view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • FIG. 5 is an in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 5 thereof, a new suspending device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
  • As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 5, the trouser suspending device 10 generally comprises a belt 12 that is configured to position around, and adjustably couple to, a torso of a user. The belt 12 is coupled to the user with the belt 12 positioned over a presternal region and inframammary regions of the torso. The belt 12 is flexible.
  • A first coupler 14 is coupled to an inner face 16 of the belt 12 proximate to a first end 18 of the belt 12. A second coupler 20 is coupled to an outer face 22 of the belt 12 proximate to a second end 24 of the belt 12. The second coupler 20 is complementary to the first coupler 14. The second coupler 20 is positioned to couple to the first coupler 14 to adjustably couple the belt 12 to the torso of the user. The belt 12 is positioned over the presternal region and the inframammary regions of the torso. In one embodiment, the first coupler 14 and the second coupler 20 comprises a hook and loop fastener 26. In another embodiment, the first end 18 and the second end 24 of the belt 12 are arcuate.
  • A plurality of straps 28 is coupled to and extends from the belt 12. In one embodiment, the plurality of straps 28 comprises four straps 28. The four straps 28 are positioned on the belt 12 so that two straps 28 are positioned on a front of the user and two straps 28 are positioned on a back of the user when the belt 12 is coupled to the torso of the user. In another embodiment, the straps 28 are resilient. In yet another embodiment, the straps 28 comprises elastic. In still yet another embodiment, the straps 28 are stitchedly coupled to the belt 12.
  • Each of a plurality of connectors 30 is coupled to a respective strap 28 distal from the belt 12. The connectors 30 are configured to selectively couple to a waistband of trousers that are positioned on the user. The trousers are coupled to the belt 12 so that the belt 12 is configured to suspend the trousers in a desired position on the user. In one embodiment, each connector 30 comprises a clip 32. Each clip 32 is positioned to selectively couple to the waistband of the trousers so that the trousers are coupled to the belt 12. The belt 12 is configured to suspend the trousers in the desired position on the user.
  • In one embodiment, each of a plurality of rings 34 is coupled to and extends between a respective connector 30 and an associated strap 28. The ring 34 is pivotally coupled to the respective connector 30. The respective connector 30 is pivotable relative to the associated strap 28. In another embodiment, the associated strap 28 is stitchedly coupled to the associated strap 28 distal from the belt 12 to define a loop 36. The ring 34 is positioned through the loop 36 so that the ring 34 is coupled to the associated strap 28.
  • In use, the second coupler 20 positioned to couple to the first coupler 14 to adjustably couple the belt 12 to the torso of the user. The belt 12 is positioned over the presternal region and the inframammary regions of the torso. The clips 32 are positioned on the straps 28 so that each clip 32 is positioned to selectively couple to the waistband of the trousers. The trousers are coupled to the belt 12 so that the belt 12 is configured to suspend the trousers in the desired position on the user.
  • With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
  • Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
