Description

    BRIEF DESCRIPTION
  • This application for patent of Invention is about an Assemblable One-Piece Sandal”, and refers to a sandal injected in a single piece with a sole and coplanar straps enabling single-mold manufacture, being enough to turn said strap forward to assemble the product by means of male and female fitting, wherein the product has other significant features in the sole, such as good adherence due to the suction cups and rib for better adjustment to earth/sand terrain, besides great anatomy of the insole specially designed for perfect accommodation of the heel and toes.
  • FIELD OF APPLICATION
  • This invention belongs to the segment of the footwear and fashion industry.
  • GENERAL BELIEF
  • The footwear industry and the fashion sector are segments whose survival depends on the ornamental aspect, wherein the visual appeal is extremely strong when it comes to the consumer's decision to purchase. However, due to the increasingly fierce competition, manufacturers and suppliers must necessarily go beyond the common denominator and move towards innovations that provide new features to the products without disregarding the visual appearance, otherwise they will be doomed to failure.
  • Accordingly, new materials and colors are developed according to the fashion trends and society expectations, for all age groups and economic classes.
  • BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
  • The current state of the art anticipates some patent documents referring to sandals providing some type of feature, such as MU 9100577-9, entitled “Construction Layout Introduced in Footwear with Massager Insole”, more precisely relates to a finger sandal developed to provide comfort and relax to the feet, as it has a massager insole comprised of multiple filaments. The sandal also has a non-slip sole.
  • Said solution is based on foot massaging and non-slip sole, however, as opposed to the application claimed herein, more than one mold is required for manufacturing the sole and strips. Furthermore, the non-slip sole is not provided with suction cups and ribs to adjust to earth/sand terrains.
  • Document No. PI 0604324-0, entitled “Fixing Means for Straps of Flip-flop or Sandal Type Sole”, represented by an inventive solution that combines flexibility of use through aesthetic valuation and lies on the possibility of changing the strips adjacent to the sole of the flip-flops or sandals, providing great satisfaction to the user. This is possible by means of fixing ends adjacent to the strip ends. In said prior disclosure, the interchangeability of the strips is an innovation, however it differs from this application both due to the number of molds required for footwear manufacture, and to the presence of anti-slip soles with suction cups and ribs for different terrains.
  • Thus, what is observed in the state of the art is that the known products have characteristics that do not collide with this application, with emphasis on coplanar confection with a single mold, anti-slip soles, anatomical insole, and great visual and commercial appeal.
  • OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION
  • One of the objects of this invention is to provide a product of great visual and marketing appeal.
  • One of the objects of this invention is to provide a sandal achieved by means of only one mold and supplied to the consumer in a coplanar format, so that it is assembled by the joint and/or turn of the straps at the front in the male fitting.
  • One of the objects of this invention is to provide a non-slip sandal with an anatomical insole.
  • THE INVENTION
  • This invention relates to a sandal achieved in a single piece, where the strap is molded laterally with respect to the sole, having freedom of radial movement in the direction of the front hook where the male fitting is placed which, coupled with the female fitting on the strap, forms the upper part of the footwear, and thus makes it easy for the user to assemble the sandal. The sandal is made of highly resistant material, which allows it to be assembled and disassembled several times without stress and material rupture. The sandal sole was designed to provide the best possible adherence and safety in any terrain condition. Suction cups generate a negative pressure, providing the firmness needed to walk on wet, smooth, and slippery surfaces, while ribs allow a better adaptation to dirt and/or sand grounds. In the heel region, toothed projections provide an optimal adherence in stony paths. In addition to the particular comfort of its anatomy that follows the ergonomics of the human foot, the insole has an adequate surface for the support of heel and toes, including parts with relaxation points for foot sole massage.
  • ADVANTAGES OF THE INVENTION
  • In brief, the major advantages offered by said invention are:
  • Functionality—assembly and disassembly (when the item is disassembled it does not take up space in cabinets and bags).
  • Simplified manufacture procedure—only one mold is needed (it does not require a mold for the straps).
  • New marketing concept (innovative assembly/disassembly system).
  • Safety—sole designed to provide reliability to the user in any type of terrain and/or surface condition.
  • Comfort—anatomical insole with purposely-positioned massage points.
  • DESCRIPTION OF THE FIGURES
  • The invention is described by means of a preferred embodiment and, hence, for a better understanding, reference will be made to the attached drawings, in which it is represented in an illustrative and not limiting manner.
  • FIG. 1: Perspective view of the arrangement applied in an assemblable one-piece sandal, out-of-use position.
  • FIG. 2: Perspective view of the arrangement applied in an assemblable one-piece sandal, in-use position.
  • FIG. 3: Bottom view of the arrangement applied in an assemblable one-piece sandal.
  • FIG. 4: Top view of the arrangement applied in an assemblable one-piece sandal.
  • FIG. 5: Enlarged detail of the male and female fitting of the arrangement applied in an assemblable one-piece sandal.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
  • An Assemblable One-Piece Sandal relates to a one-piece sandal (1) injected in a single piece with a strap (2) placed on the side of the sole (3S), particularly non-slip, and of the insole (3P), particularly anatomical, particularly anatomical, however with freedom of rotation towards the front hook (4) where the male fitting (5) engages with the female fitting (6) of the strap (2), forming the strip in the format of the instep, thus providing a product having an innovative assembly concept, with non-slip sole (3S) and comfortable insole (3P).
  • More particularly, the invention relates to a polymer sandal (1) injected in a single piece, wherein the strap (2) takes a lateral “U” contour in relation to the non-slip sole and the anatomical insole (3P), from the heel region where it forms a pivot point (7) that allows the tilting of the strap (2) towards the hook (4) with a male fitting (5) suitable for engaging and securing the female fitting (6) in the strap (2) which, when pivoted and bent, is compatible with the instep, and when coupling the male (5) and the female (6) fittings, the sandal (1) is assembled with great ease or disassembled with the same ease, leaving it coplanar, again in an optimal arrangement for storage and transport. The anti-slip type sole (3S) has suction cups (10) along its largest portion, which makes walking on wet, wet, and slippery surfaces highly safe, since it generates a certain negative pressure that keep its adherence under these conditions. Contouring and delimiting the suction cups (10), there is a rib (11) for earth and sand deposition that favors walking in these types of terrain. Lastly, at the most projected perimeter of the heel region, the sole (3S) has favorable adhesion grips (12) favorable when walking on stony surfaces. In addition to the anatomical comfort that enhances a collar (13) that follows the shape of the human foot, the insole (3P) has areas (14, 8, and 9) carefully designed for perfect seating of the heel (14) and toes (8 and 9), including a larger portion of its surface with relaxation points (15) to massage the sole of the foot.
  • Therefore, although the best embodiment currently contemplated for the embodiment of this invention has been described and illustrated, it should be understood that this invention is not limited to the practical aspects of the currently preferred, described embodiment, and that all and such modifications and variations should be considered to be encompassed within the spirit and scope of the invention.
