Description
- The present invention relates to fitness equipment, and more particularly to a stepping exercise machine.
- These days, a stepping exercise machine is common fitness equipment. A conventional stepping exercise machine uses a hydraulic cylinder to achieve the effect of the stepping exercise, which is complicated in production and has a high cost. As a result, the application and promotion of stepping exercise machines are limited. How to improve the existing stepping exercise machines become an urgent problem to be solved. Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has devoted himself based on his many years of practical experiences to solve these problems.
- In view of the problems of the prior art, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a stepping exercise machine which is simple, effective, stable and safe to realize the stepping effect.
- In order to achieve the aforesaid object, the stepping exercise machine of the present invention comprises a support unit, a transmission unit and a tread unit. The support unit includes a support beam and a plurality of support legs connected to the support beam. The transmission unit includes a lever. The lever is pivotally connected to a connecting member provided on the support beam. Two sides of the lever are an effort arm and a resisting arm with the connecting member as a fulcrum. The two sides of the lever are connected to two ends of the support beam through tension springs, respectively. The tread unit includes a pair of pedals. The pedals are connected to two ends of the lever. The transmission unit further includes a pair of swing rods. First ends of the swing rods are pivotally connected to the connecting member. Second ends of the swing rods are pivotally connected to lower ends of the pedals, respectively.
- Preferably, the tread unit further includes pedal fasteners. Lower ends of the pedal fasteners are pivotally connected to the lever. The pedals are fixed on the pedal fasteners, respectively.
- Preferably, the second ends of the swing rods are pivotally connected to the pedal fasteners.
- Preferably, the connecting member is provided with an arcuate protective casing.
- Preferably, the tension springs are symmetrically disposed. Outer ends of the tension springs are connected to the ends of the support beams respectively, and/or inner ends of the tension springs are connected to middle portions of the effort arm and the resisting arm of the lever, respectively.
- The stepping exercise machine of the present invention utilizes the lever principle, and adopts the tension springs and the swing rods to achieve the effects of stepping exercise, structural optimization, and simplified production process, which is beneficial for the application and promotion of the stepping exercise machine. The pedal fasteners are pivotally connected to the lever, so that the pedals are perpendicular to the ground when the stepping exercise machine is used, enabling the pedals to completely fit the user's feet to enhance the comfort of use.
-
FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the present invention; -
FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the present invention; -
FIG. 3 andFIG. 4 are schematic views of the present invention when in use. - Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
- As shown in
FIG. 1 toFIG. 4 , the present invention discloses a stepping exercise machine. The stepping exercise machine comprises a support unit, a transmission unit and a tread unit. The support unit is used for supporting the transmission unit. The transmission unit is used for driving the tread unit to realize the stepping exercise. - The support unit includes a
support beam 4 and foursupport legs 5 connected to thesupport beam 4. - The transmission unit includes a
lever 6. Thelever 6 is pivotally connected to a connectingmember 9 provided at the middle of thesupport beam 4. Two sides of thelever 6 are an effort arm and a resisting arm, with the connectingmember 9 as a fulcrum. - The two sides of the
lever 6 are symmetrically provided withtension springs 2, respectively, so as to be elasticly connected to two ends of thesupport beam 4. Outer ends of thetension springs 2 are connected to the ends of thesupport beams 4, respectively. Inner ends of thetension springs 2 are connected to lower ends of middle portions of the effort arm and the resisting arm of thelever 6, respectively. - The tread unit includes a pair of
pedals 7. Thepedals 7 are fixed topedal fasteners 8, respectively. Lower ends of thepedal fasteners 8 are pivotally connected to two ends of thelever 6. - The transmission unit further includes a pair of
swing rods 3. First ends of theswing rods 3 are pivotally connected to the connectingmember 9, and second ends of theswing rods 3 are pivotally connected to thepedal fasteners 8 at the lower ends of thepedals 7, respectively. - The connecting
member 9 is provided with an arcuateprotective casing 1 to cover an upper end face of the connectingmember 9. - Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
