Abstract

A garment constructed so that the pocket panel of the garment is interchangeable. An attachable/detachable pocket panel which is attached to a securable storage pocket. Having the securable storage pocket will allow you to put various items in it. The attachable/detachable pocket panel will give a different appearance at any given time, due to the various design, fabric, style or color. The pocket panels are designed to be interchangeable with the following: pants, trousers, capris, overalls, coveralls, shorts, skirts, dresses, jackets, sweaters, blouses, shirts, coats, hats, caps, sweat suits, stretch pants, vests and all clothing. The design is for males and females. The interchangeable pocket panels, is attached to the securable storage pocket by hooks, snaps, velcro or zipper.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

It is known that permanent pockets on clothing, is a limiting fashion. The present invention, interchangeable pocket panels, is designed to save consumers money. Currently most apparel pockets are permanently attached. Unfortunately, it limits the owner's ability to customize the garment. By purchasing one of the following comprising: pants, trousers, capris, overalls, coveralls, shorts, skirts, dresses, jackets, sweaters, blouses, shirts, coats, hats, caps, sweat suits, stretch pants, vests and all clothing, will give it a different appearance. They will be able to wear the pocket panel of their choice, example: a pair of denim jeans—plain pocket panel in the day and an elegant pocket panel for the evening. By doing this results in a more elegant wear for evening. No one would know that they are the same pair of denim jeans. It is also practical as it can be used several times and gives a different look as if they were a new clothing garment.

BRIEF SUMMARY

The primary objective of this invention is to provide an easy and convenient mean to modify the appearance of the garment, without permanently altering the garment. An interchangeable pocket panel that is attached to a securable storage pocket, by hooks, snaps, velcro or zipper, can be changed at any time as desired by the user. The attachable/detachable pocket panel may be formed from all suitable fabric. The interchangeable pocket panel creates unlimited styles, designs and fashions to the following: pants, trousers, capris, overalls, coveralls, shorts, skirts, dresses, jackets, sweaters, blouses, shirts, coats, hats, caps, sweat suits, stretch pants, vests and all clothing. This invention is to help consumers save tons of money on their clothing budget, as well as traveling lightly. This summary is to provide and introduce the concept of expansion of one's wardrobe and save money at the same time.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

FIG. 1—This invention is being shown as the rearview of a pair of pants. It shows two securable storage pockets on each side of the pants, which can hold various items. A piece of fabric is sewn onto the pair of pants to create a securable storage pocket. Then 7 inner hooks were sewn on the outside of the securable storage pocket. Three inner hooks on the right, three inner hooks on the left, and one inner hook at the bottom. The amount of hooks will vary depending on the design, size, style, fabric of the comprising: pants trousers, capris, overalls, coveralls, shorts, skirts, dresses, jackets, sweaters, blouses, shirts, coats, hats, caps, sweat suits, stretch pants, vests and all clothing.
FIG. 2—This invention is being shown as the rearview of a pair of pants. It shows two securable storage pockets on each side to the pants, which can hold various items. A piece of fabric is sewn onto the pair of pants to create a pocket. Then 7 male snaps were sewn on the outside of securable storage pocket. Three male snaps on the right, three male snaps on the left and one male snap at the bottom. The amount of snaps will vary depending on the design, size, style, fabric of the comprising: pants trousers, capris, overalls, coveralls, shorts, skirts, dresses, jackets, sweaters, blouses, shirts, coats, hats, caps, sweat suits, stretch pants, vests and all clothing.
FIG. 3—This invention is being shown as the rearview of a pair of pants. It shows two securable storage pockets on each side of the pants, which can hold various items. A piece of fabric is sewn onto the pair of pants to create a securable storage pocket. Then a total of 3 strips were placed on the outside pocket. One strip on the right, one strip on the left and one at the bottom. The amount of velcro will vary depending on the design, size, style, fabric of the comprising: pants trousers, capris, overalls, coveralls, shorts, skirts, dresses, jackets, sweaters, blouses, shirts, coats, hats, caps, sweat suits, stretch pants, vests and all clothing.
FIG. 4—This invention is being shown as the rearview of a pair of pants. It shows two securable storage pockets on each side to the pants, which can hold various items. A piece of fabric is sewn onto the pair of pants to create a securable storage pocket. There are a total of 2 zippers on the securable storage pocket. One zipper on the right and one zipper on the left. There will be numerous designed pocket panels to accompany this invention, comprising of the following: pants trousers, capris, overalls, coveralls, shorts, skirts, dresses, jackets, sweaters, blouses, shirts, coats, hats, caps, sweat suits, stretch pants, vests and all clothing.
FIG. 5—Is an attachable/detachable pocket panel with 7 outer hooks on the inside panel. Three outer hooks on the right, three outer hooks on the left, and one outer hook at the bottom. This pocket panel will attach to the drawing in FIG. 1. The amount of hooks will vary depending on the design, size, fabric, style and type of the garment. There will be numerous designed panels to accompany invention.
FIG. 6—Is an attachable/detachable pocket panel with 7 female snaps on the inside panel. Three female snaps on the right side and three female snaps on the left side and one female snap at the bottom. This pocket panel will attach to the drawing in FIG. 2. The amount of snaps will vary depending on the design, size, fabric, style and type of garment. There will be numerous designed panels to accompany invention.
FIG. 7—Is an attachable/detachable pocket panel with 3 strips of velcro on the inside of panel. One line of velcro on the right, one line of velcro on the left and one line of velcro at the bottom. This pocket panel will attach to the drawing in FIG. 3. The amount of velcro will vary depending on the design, size, fabric, style and type of garment. Claims

What is claimed is:

1. An article of wearing apparel, in combination with interchangeable pocket panels which connects to a secured storage pocket; wherein said secured storage pocket is a piece of fabric sewn onto create a pocket on one of the comprising: pants, trousers, capris, overalls, coveralls, shorts, skirts, dresses, jackets, sweaters, blouses, shirts, coats, hats, caps, sweat suits, stretch pants, vests and all clothing to create said secured storage pocket; a first fastening element is one of the following sewn onto said secured storage pocket at an exterior side: hooks, snaps, hook and loop or zipper; the said secured storage pocket attached is adapted to allow a user to place various items in said secured storage pocket; wherein said secured storage pocket is adapted to attach the interchangeable pocket panel of the users choice to said secured storage pocket; the second fastening element mates with said first fastener element to cooperate with each other in order to create a new look of article of wearing apparel; the first and second elements will cooperate with each other in order to create the new look of the garment; wherein the interchangeable pocket panel has an outer perimeter of four sides which is adapted to attach to a perimeter of four sides of said secured storage pocket; said second fastener element mates with said first fastener element to cooperate with each other in order to create a new look of the article of wearing apparel; said secured storage pocket and the interchangeable pocket are both shaped similar to create an adorned pocket of said secured storage pocket when attached together.

2. The accessory of claim 1, wherein a fastening arrangement of the first and second fastening element are hook fasteners in order to help create the new look of the article of wearing apparel.

3. The accessory of claim 1, wherein a fastening arrangement of the first and second fastening element are snap fasteners in order to help create the new look of the article of wearing apparel.

4. The accessory of claim 1, wherein a fastening arrangement of the first and second fastening element are hook and loop fasteners in order to help create the new look of the article of wearing apparel.

5. The accessory of claim 1, wherein a fastening arrangement of the first and second fastening element are zipper fasteners in order to help create the new look of the article of wearing apparel.
