Abstract

A beverage container holder configured so that beverage containers with or without handles such as bottles, cups, mugs, cans, or tumblers can easily be placed in the receiver, that is attached to the extended base. The extended base then slides in between two allowing cushions, such as where the seat and back cushion of a sofa or couch meet, thus facilitating stability for the beverage container and allowing ease of relocation to the user.

Description

    FIELD OF INVENTION
  • The present invention relates to a beverage container holder that sits in between or on a cushion.
  • BACKGROUND
  • Regular beverage container holders are meant for stable surfaces and do not hold the beverage or container securely upright or allow for contact or movement while in use. Users do not always have room for small stable surfaces next to where they are seated on a soft or unstable surface such as a cushion, chair, or couch. Users currently do not have the option for a small single serve beverage or container holder that can be within close proximity and easily relocated. Regular beverage or container holders do not always allow the user to have close proximity to the beverage or container no matter where the user is sitting. Regular beverage or container holders do not keep the beverage or container securely upright on unstable surfaces.
  • Presently there is no solution for a single serve beverage or container holder that allows the user to securely place their beverage or container upright with the closest proximity that can be easily relocated while sitting on any soft or unstable surface.
  • SUMMARY OF INVENTION
  • The present invention seeks to provide a solution to this problem(s) by providing a beverage container holder with a receiver that is attached to an extended base that slides under or between two cushions providing stability, allowing a beverage or container to be held securely upright and in close proximity by the user while being easily relocatable.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION
  • Referring to FIGS. 1 through 6, the receiver 4 of the beverage container holder sits upon an extended horizontal base 6 that can easily slide between two allowing cushions. The opposing pressure of the cushions on the extended base 6 allows for the stability of the receiver 4 that would keep a beverage 12 or container 14 upright while allowing close proximity to the user.
  • Preferably, the receiver 4 of the beverage container holder has cutout slots 2,8 on the sides of the receiver 4 allowing the user to place their beverage 12 or container 14 with a handle 16 comfortably in the slot 2,8. The intent of the slot 2,8 is to make the beverage container holder compatible with beverages 12 or containers 14 that have handles 16. This also produces extremely convenient access for the user to grab the container handle 16, while assisting to hold the beverage 12 or container 14 and handle 16 securely in place.
  • Preferably, the beverage container holder would be constructed of any solid material like, wood, plastic, metal, or glass, but this description is not to limit the construction, but is made merely for the purpose of illustrating the general principles of the invention.
