IMPROVEMENT IN WATER-CANS.
Specification forming part of Letters Patent N 0. 201,712, dated March 26, 1878 application filed December 17, 1877.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, UATHARINE SMITH, of Utica, in the county of Oneida and State of New York, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Water-Cans, and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will en able others skilled in the art to which it pertains to make and use it, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, which form part of this specification.
Figure 1 represents a plain outside 'view of the water-can and receptacle; and Fig. 2 represents a vertical section of the water-can above, and the receptacle for a commode or other vessel below.
The can and receptacle may be made of any suitable metal or material, and of convenient size to suit the taste, as well as for practicable use.
In Fig. 1, A represents the body of the water-can and receptacle. B is a cup for cloths or paper. 0 is a door, through which the vessel is placed into the receptacle. D is nozzle. E is the top handle. F is a side handle, and G is a sectional lid for the water-can.
