Abstract

A golf game assembly includes a plurality of goals. The plurality of goals may be arranged on a support surface. Each of the goals is comprised of a phosphorescent material to be visible at night. A plurality of golf clubs is provided. Each of the golf clubs is comprised of a phosphorescent material to be visible at night. A selected one of the golf clubs is selected by a player. A plurality of balls is provided. A selected one of the balls may be placed on the support surface. Thus, the player may strike the selected ball with the selected golf club. Each of the balls is comprised of a phosphorescent material to be visible at night.

Description

BACKGROUND OF THE DISCLOSURE

Field of the Disclosure

The disclosure relates to game devices and more particularly pertains to a new game device for playing golf at night.

SUMMARY OF THE DISCLOSURE

An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a plurality of goals. The plurality of goals may be arranged on a support surface. Each of the goals is comprised of a phosphorescent material to be visible at night. A plurality of golf clubs is provided. Each of the golf clubs is comprised of a phosphorescent material to be visible at night. A selected one of the golf clubs is selected by a player. A plurality of balls is provided. A selected one of the balls may be placed on the support surface. Thus, the player may strike the selected ball with the selected golf club. Each of the balls is comprised of a phosphorescent material to be visible at night.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.

The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a golf game assembly according to an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 2 is a perspective in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

FIG. 3 is a top perspective in-use view of an embodiment of the disclosure.

DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to FIGS. 1 through 3 thereof, a new game device embodying the principles and concepts of an embodiment of the disclosure and generally designated by the reference numeral 10 will be described.
As best illustrated in FIGS. 1 through 3, the golf game assembly 10 generally comprises a plurality of goals 12. The plurality of goals 12 may be arranged on a support surface 14. The support surface 14 may comprise a yard at a home or the like. Each of the goals 12 is comprised of a phosphorescent material such that each of the goals 12 is visible at night.
Each of the goals 12 comprises a ring 16. The ring 16 may be positioned on the support surface 14. The ring 16 may have a diameter of at least six cm. Each of the goals 12 further comprises a stake 18 that has a bottom end 20 and a top end 22. The stake 18 may have a length of at least thirty cm.
The bottom end 20 of the stake 18 tapers to a point to pierce the support surface 14. The stake 18 is centrally positioned in the ring 16 when the stake 18 is manipulated to pierce the support surface 14. A globe 24 is coupled to the top end 22 to enhance visibility of the stake 18. The globe 24 may resemble a golf ball or the like. Indicia 26 may be printed the globe 24 corresponding to each goal 12. The indicia 26 may comprise numbers or the like.
A plurality of golf clubs 28 is provided and each of the golf clubs 28 may be manipulated. Each of the golf clubs 28 is comprised of a phosphorescent material such that each of the golf clubs 28 is visible at night. Each of the golf clubs 28 includes a shaft 30 and a head 32. A selected one of the golf clubs 28 is selected by a player 34. Each of the golf clubs 28 may comprise a pitching wedge. The game may be played by adults and children.
A plurality of balls 36 is provided. A selected one of the balls 36 may be placed on the support surface 14 thereby facilitating the player 34 to strike the selected ball 36 with the selected golf club 28. Each of the balls 36 is comprised of a phosphorescent material such that each of the balls 36 is visible at night. Moreover, each of the balls 36 may have a unique color with respect to each other. The plurality of balls 36 comprises a set of golf balls 38 and a set of wiffle balls 40.
In use, the goals 12 are arranged on the support surface 14 in a selected arrangement. Each player 34 chooses a ball 36 and a golf club 28. Each player 34 takes turns striking the selected ball 36 toward each of the goals 12 in a chosen consecutive order. The consecutive order may be based on the indicia 26 on the globe 24 corresponding to each goal 12. The game is played during night time and at daytime. Each player 34 chooses a golf ball 38 during regular game play. Each player 34 chooses a wiffle ball 40 during practice game play.
Each player 34 is given a first attempt to strike the selected ball 36 into each goal 12. Each player 34 is awarded three points when the selected ball 36 strikes the stake 18. Each player 34 is awarded two points when the selected ball 36 is knocked into the ring 16 without striking the stake 18. Each player 34 is given a second attempt to strike the selected ball 36 into each goal 12 when the player 34 fails to place the selected ball 36 in the goal 12 on the first attempt. Each player 34 is given one point when the selected ball 36 is knocked into the ring 16 on the second attempt. Each player's 36 turn is over when each player 34 fails to knock the selected ball 36 into the goal 12 on the second attempt.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.

Claims

1. A golf game assembly being configured to be played at night, said assembly comprising:

a plurality of goals, said plurality of goals being configured to be arranged on a support surface, each of said goals being comprised of a phosphorescent material wherein each of said goals is configured to be visible at night wherein each of said goals comprises a ring being configured to be positioned on the support surface;

a plurality of golf clubs, each of said golf clubs being configured to be manipulated, each of said golf clubs being comprised of a phosphorescent material wherein each of said golf clubs is configured to be visible at night, a selected one of said golf clubs being selected by a player;

a plurality of balls, a selected one of said balls being configured to be placed on the support surface thereby facilitating the player to strike said selected ball with said selected golf club, each of said balls being comprised of a phosphorescent material wherein each of said balls is configured to be visible at night, each ring having a convexly curved outer perimeter extending simultaneously downwardly from an outermost circumference of said ring and inwardly towards a center of said ring wherein said outermost circumference of said ring is configured to be spaced above the support surface whereby each said ring is configured for inhibiting each of said balls from rolling over said ring.

3. The assembly according to claim 1, further comprising a stake having a bottom end and a top end, said bottom end tapering to a point wherein said bottom end is configured to pierce the support surface, said stake being centrally positioned in said ring.

4. The assembly according to claim 3, further comprising a globe being coupled to said top end wherein said globe is configured to enhance visibility of said stake.

5. The assembly according to claim 1, wherein said plurality of balls comprises:

a set of golf balls; and

a set of wiffle balls.

6. A golf game assembly being configured to be played at night, said assembly comprising:

a plurality of goals, said plurality of goals being configured to be arranged on a support surface, each of said goals being comprised of a phosphorescent material wherein each of said goals is configured to be visible at night, each of said goals comprising:

a ring being configured to be positioned on the support surface,

a stake having a bottom end and a top end, said bottom end tapering to a point wherein said bottom end is configured to pierce the support surface, said stake being centrally positioned in said ring, and

a globe being coupled to said top end wherein said globe is configured to enhance visibility of said stake;

a plurality of golf clubs, each of said golf clubs being configured to be manipulated, each of said golf clubs being comprised of a phosphorescent material wherein each of said golf clubs is configured to be visible at night, each of said golf clubs including a shaft and a head, a selected one of said golf clubs being selected by a player;

a plurality of balls, a selected one of said balls being configured to be placed on the support surface thereby facilitating the player to strike said selected ball with said selected golf club, each ring having a convexly curved outer perimeter extending simultaneously downwardly from an outermost circumference of said ring and inwardly towards a center of said ring wherein said outermost circumference of said ring is configured to be spaced above the support surface whereby each said ring is configured for inhibiting each of said balls from rolling over said ring, each of said balls being comprised of a phosphorescent material wherein each of said balls is configured to be visible at night, said plurality of balls comprising:

a set of golf balls; and

a set of wiffle balls.
