Description
- The invention relates to a bottle cap, specifically a bottle cap with additive supply structure.
- The majority of bottles sold on the current market can accommodate only one kind of substance in each one. In order to provide a variety of tastes for users, sometimes different substances must be mixed to prepare a mixture, for example, coffee drinks can be mixed with sugar or cream in the bottle cap; the additive separation plays an important role in protection of some ingredients to prevent deterioration and keep the taste of some food, and can also greatly improve the overall shelf life. Similarly, it can be applied to drugs and chemicals.
- In order to mix two substances, users must purchase two bottles to accommodate two substances, especially when the substances must be mixed in strict proportion, users must use a measuring implement to prepare the mixture; if there is no such measuring implement, it is hard to keep the correct proportion of the mixture, making the mixture incorrectly, even unable to use.
- Therefore, in order to overcome the above problems, a bottle cap with additive separate from the bottled material is put forward. The majority of existing bottle caps with additive are complex in structure, high in cost and inconvenient in operation; after adding the additives to the bottle, the sealing performance of the whole bottle is compromised; the sealing piece for packaging the additives may fall into the bottle.
- For the majority of bottle caps with additive, the additives and the bottled material are separated through closing two block pieces, the airtight integrity is poor, the bottled material may permeate into the additive after lengthy inversion.
- In order to overcome the disadvantages of complex structure, high cost, inconvenient operation, poor airtightness and sealing piece easy to fall into the bottle, the invention provides a bottle cap with additive supply structure, which has the advantages of simple structure, low cost, easy operation and crackable part unable to fall into the bottle.

During installation, the distance between the bottom of thestorage cap 2 and the upper end of the middle part is between 1-3 mm, the distance between the bottom of thestep hole 7 and theannular flange 14 is between 4-8 mm, the sum of the thickness of thethickening part 13 and that of theedge part 12 is between 3-4 mm, and the thickness of themiddle part 11 is between 3-4 mm. - The second
outer skirt part 6 is closely fit to thegrooved wall 9, thesecond top 4, the secondouter skirt part 6 and thecrackable part 10 form a sealedstorage space 15, theannular groove 19 is arranged in thegroove wall 9, the secondouter skirt part 6 is provided with anannular boss 20 at the position corresponding to theannular groove 19, and thestorage space 15 is clamped in theannular groove 19 to seal through theannular boss 20. - The thickness of the bottom of the second
outer skirt part 6 is smaller than that of the upper part of the second outer skirt part , and the bottom of the secondouter skirt part 6 is named as theknocking part 16. The thickness of the knockingpart 16 is smaller than that of other parts of the secondouter skirt part 6 so that there is sufficient acting force applied to thecrackable part 10 when pressing thestorage cap 2 to ensure that all parts on theedge part 12, except for the thickenedpart 13, can be cracked by the applied pressure. - There is a
cavity 18 fit to the upper part of the bottle and arranged between the firstouter skirt part 5 and the secondouter skirt part 6, theinternal threads 17 that fit to the bottle are arranged in the firstouter skirt part 5, external threads are arranged on the bottle, and the bottle is connected to thebottle cap body 1 through the threads. - During installation, additives are put into the
storage cap 2, the secondouter skirt part 6 is clamped into themounting groove 8, the inside of thegroove wall 9 is fit to the periphery of the secondouter skirt part 6, the bottom of thegroove wall 9 is positioned above thecrackable part 10, the upper part of thestorage cap 2 is exposed above the bottom of thestep hole 7, at that time, theannular boss 20 is clamped into the annular groove so as to seal the interior of thestorage cap 2 to avoid contamination of the additives. In use, thestorage cap 2 is knocked downward forcibly, and theedge part 12 of thecrackable part 10 is impacted by the lower end of the secondouter skirt part 6; since thecrackable part 10, the thickenedpart 13 and the secondouter skirt part 6 are all made of plastic of certain elasticity, after the thickeningpart 13 is impacted by the knockingpart 16, the thickenedpart 13 is squeezed to continue transferring the pressure to thethin edge part 12 of which the thickness is 0.01-0.5 mm only, so thethin edge part 12 can be cracked completely by the acting force produced by the downward displacement of thestorage cap 2; after being moved downwards and abutted against the bottom of thestep hole 7, theannular flange 14 stops moving, thestep hole 7 plays a role in preventing theannular flange 14 from moving downwards and the thickenedpart 13 from being cracked by the continuous downward displacement of theannular flange 14. The additives fall into the bottle and mix with the bottled material. The thickenedpart 13 will not be cracked by the secondouter skirt part 6 due to its greater thickness so as to ensure that thecrackable part 10 can not fall into the bottle to affect the bottled material. After thecrackable part 10 is impacted by the secondouter skirt part 6, theannular flange 14 is clamped into thestep hole 7 so as to make thebottle cap body 2 remain a sealed structure; when shaking the bottle, the bottled material will not leak out of thebottle cap body 1. - In a word, the above mentioned content is the optimal embodiment of the invention. All equivalent changes and modifications made according to the claims of the invention shall belong to the scope of the invention.
