Abstract

A cover structure for a luggage case is to be connected to a case body of the luggage case, and includes: a main shell, a cover, at least one magnetic member, and two pivot members. With the at least one magnetic member disposed between the outer annular edge of the main shell and the connecting peripheral edge of the cover, the outer annular edge of the main shell and the connecting peripheral edge of the cover can be attracted together, so that the cover can be closed with respect to the main shell. To open the cover, the user has to pull the cover by applying a force to overcome the magnetic force of the magnetic member.

Description

    BACKGROUND
  • Field of the Invention
  • The present invention relates to a luggage case, and more particularly to a cover structure for a luggage case.
  • Related Prior Art
  • Today, luggage cases have become indispensible travel companions. In order to carry more goods and store the goods in a more classified manner, the luggage cases are mostly provided with a plurality of layers of pockets which are disposed on a cover. The cover is connected and can be closed and opened with respect to a case body by a zipper. However, the zipper is susceptible to break and corrosion after repeated use.
  • The present invention has arisen to mitigate and/or obviate the afore-described disadvantages.
  • SUMMARY
  • The present invention is aimed at providing a cover structure for a luggage case, which can be used repeatedly.
  • Therefore, a cover structure for a luggage case is to be connected to a case body of the luggage case, and comprises:
  • a main shell including an outer annular edge and being connected to the case body;
  • a cover including a pivot end to be pivoted to the main shell, and further including a connecting peripheral edge which is located toward the outer annular edge;
  • at least one magnetic member located between the outer annular edge and the connecting peripheral edge; and
  • two pivot members each including a pivot, and a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion which extend from the pivot, wherein the first connecting portion is fixed to the main shell, and the second connecting portion is fixed to the cover.
  • With the at least one magnetic member disposed between the outer annular edge of the main shell and the connecting peripheral edge of the cover, the outer annular edge of the main shell and the connecting peripheral edge of the cover can be attracted together, so that the cover can be closed with respect to the main shell. To open the cover, the user has to pull the cover by applying a force to overcome the magnetic force of the magnetic member.
  • These together with other objects of the invention, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the invention, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure. For a better understanding of the invention, its operating advantages and the specific objects attained by its uses, reference should be had to the accompanying drawings and descriptive matter in which there are illustrated preferred embodiments of the invention.
  • BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS
  • FIG. 1 is a perspective view showing an open state of a cover structure for a luggage case in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing a closed state of the cover structure for a luggage case in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 3 is another perspective view showing a closed state of the cover structure for a luggage case in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 4 is a top view of a part of the cover structure for a luggage case in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 5 is a magnified view of a part of the cover structure for a luggage case in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention;
  • FIG. 6 is a perspective view showing an open state of a cover structure for a luggage case in accordance with another preferred embodiment of the present invention; and
  • FIG. 7 shows that the cover structure in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention is attached to the case body of a luggage case.
  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION
  • The present invention will be clearer from the following description when viewed together with the accompanying drawings, which show, for purpose of illustrations only, the preferred embodiment in accordance with the present invention.
  • Referring to FIGS. 1-7, a cover structure for a luggage case in accordance with the preferred embodiment of the present invention is to be connected to a case body B of the luggage case, and comprises: a main shell 10, a cover 20, at least one magnetic member M, and two pivot members 30.
  • The main shell 10 includes an outer annular edge 11 and an outer stepped surface 13. The outer annular edge 11 is provided with a connecting hole 12. The main shell 10 is connected to the case body B. The cover 20 includes a pivot end 21 to be pivoted to the main shell 10, and further includes a connecting peripheral edge 22 which is located toward the outer annular edge 11. The connecting peripheral edge 22 is provided with a connecting latch 221 to be inserted in the connecting hole 12. The cover 20 includes an inner surface 201 and an opposite outer surface 202. On the outer surface 202 is formed a cavity 23, so that a user can insert finger into the cavity 23 to pull the cover 20 to make the cover 20 pivot about the pivot end 21 to rotate with respect to the main shell 10.
  • The magnetic member M is located between the outer annular edge 11 and the connecting peripheral edge 22, and can be disposed on the outer annular edge 11. When the magnetic member M is disposed on the outer annular edge 11, the connecting peripheral edge 22 is made of metal. The magnetic member M can be disposed on the connecting peripheral edge 22, and when the magnetic member M is disposed on the connecting peripheral edge 22, the outer annular edge 11 is made of metal. When there are more than two magnetic members M, the magnetic members M can be disposed on the outer annular edge 11 and the connecting peripheral edge 22 simultaneously, and the magnetic members M are preferably arranged in a spaced apart manner.
  • The two pivot members 30 each include a pivot 31, and a first connecting portion 32 and a second connecting portion 33 which extend from the pivot 31. The first connecting portion 32 is fixed to the main shell 10, and the second connecting portion 33 is fixed to the cover 20. In this embodiment, the first connecting portion 32 is fixed to the outer annular edge 11, and the second connecting portion 33 is fixed to the inner surface 201 of the pivot end 21 of the cover 20. In another embodiment as shown in FIG. 6, the first connecting portion 32 is fixed to the outer stepped surface 13, and the second connecting portion 33 is fixed to the outer surface 202 of the pivot end 21 of the cover 20.
  • With the at least one magnetic member M disposed between the outer annular edge 11 of the main shell 10 and the connecting peripheral edge 22 of the cover 20, the outer annular edge 11 of the main shell 10 and the connecting peripheral edge 22 of the cover 20 can be attracted together, so that the cover 20 can be closed with respect to the main shell 10. To open the cover 20, the user has to pull the cover 20 by applying a force to overcome the magnetic force of the magnetic member M.
  • While we have shown and described various embodiments in accordance with the present invention, it is clear to those skilled in the art that further embodiments may be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
