Abstract
A hair brush includes a brush body and a brush pin holder. The brush body has a through frame hole provided for installing the brush pin holder, a base plate made of an elastic plastic material and integrally formed by injection molding, and a multiple of brush pins erected from a surface of the base plate. The base plate has a multiple through holes formed in an area enclosed by the frame hole. The design of the frame hole and through holes is provided for removing dirt accumulated at a root portion of the brush pin and allowing both front and back sides of the brush pin holder to have a good ventilation effect to prevent the growth of bacteria or the production of repulsive smells, so as to help maintaining the quality of hygiene of the whole hair brush.
Description
- The present invention relates to a hair brush, in particular to the hair brush with a better ventilation property and an easier way of washing the brush to help maintaining the quality of hygiene.
- As we all know, it is a common courtesy to maintain neat and tidy appearance, and an appropriate attire not just lets one look more cheerful only, but also gives others a good impression, and hair is an important factor, so that one's appearance has to start with the hair first, and a brush is required for taking care of messy hair.
- In general, the structure of a hair brush includes a brush portion and a handle combined with each other, and a plurality of brush pins erected from the brush portion. When use, a user holds the handle and brushes hair by the brush pins, so that the structure of brush pins of the hair brush may be secure and reliable and must have a specific trailing effect to the hair in order to brush and get rid of tangled hair.
- Many people use some of the salon supplies for hairdressing in order to improve the hairdressing effect. Hairdressing, salon and hair care related products are generally coated uniformly onto the hair brush first and then applied to a user's hair or hair root.
- After a certain time of use, it is inevitable that the hairdressing product remains on a root portion of the brush pins, and dirt such as fallen hair, dandruff or grease not just produces repulsive smells only, but also promotes the growth of bacteria and seriously affects the sanitary condition of the whole hair brush.
- Therefore, it is a primary objective of the present invention to provide a hair brush with a better ventilation property and an easier way of washing the brush to help maintaining the quality of hygiene.
- To achieve the aforementioned objective, the present invention provides a hair brush comprising: a brush body, having a through flame hole; and a brush pin holder, installed at the frame hole of the brush body, and having a base plate made of an elastic plastic material and formed integrally with the brush pin holder, and a plurality of brush pins erected from a surface of the base plate, and the base plate having a peripheral profile greater than the frame hole of brush body, and the base plate further including a plurality of through holes formed thereon and in an area enclosed by the frame hole.
- When the hair brush of the present invention is used, a user holds the brush body to brush hair by the brush pins. The hair brush may be put into water, when needed, and dirt accumulated at a root portion of each brush can be removed successfully by the design of the frame hole and through holes, and both front and back sides of the brush pin holder have a better ventilation effect to prevent the growth of bacteria or the production of repulsive smells, so as to maintain quality of hygiene of the whole hair brush.
- Further, the brush pin holder has an aperture formed at the center position, and the aperture is greater than a window of each through hole.
- Further, each brush pin of the brush pin holder has a base coupled to the base plate and a brush portion coupled to the base, and the base has an external diameter greater than the external diameter of the brush portion.
- Further, the hair brush has a plurality of bristles disposed on the base plate of the brush pin holder, and a base for fixing the plurality of bristles and coupling the base plate.
- Further, the hair brush has a plurality of bristles disposed on the base plate of the brush pin holder and a base for fixing the plurality of bristles and coupling the base plate, and the brush pin holder has an aperture formed at a center position of the base plate and greater than a window of each through hole, and each brush pin has a base coupled to the base plate and a brush portion coupled to the base, and the base has an external diameter greater than the external diameter of the brush portion.
- The brush portion of each brush pin has an external diameter tapered towards the rear end.
- The brush pin holder has a plurality of brush pins with at least two different lengths and configured into a staggered arrangement.
- The brush pin holder has a plurality of brush pins with at least two different lengths and configured into a staggered arrangement; and the brush portion of each brush pin has an external diameter tapered towards the rear end.
- The brush body is formed by engaging two frames.
- The brush body is formed by engaging two frames, and each frame has a holding portion, and the holding portions of the frames are engaged to form a handle.
- In the hair brush of the present invention, the design of the frame hole and through holes helps maintaining of the whole hair brush, and the design of the base and brush portion of the brush pin enhances the resilience of the brush pins to prevent the brush pins from being tilted or deformed, and facilitates users to brush their hair with lager gaps and allow hot air of a hair dryer to enter into the inner layers of the hair and blow dry the hair more quickly. In addition, the brush pins with different lengths and configured into a staggered arrangement provides a brushing effect with different layers to the hair, and the bristles provides smooth strokes to the cuticle of the hair to give bright luster to the hair.

FIG. 5 is a schematic view of a brush pin holder in accordance with a second preferred embodiment of the present invention. - The present invention provides a hair brush with a better ventilation property and an easier way of washing the brush to help maintaining the quality of hygiene. With reference to
FIGS. 1 to 4 for a hair brush of the present invention, the hair brush comprises abrush body 10, and abrush pin holder 20. - The
brush body 10 has a throughframe hole 11. In an implementation of an embodiment, thebrush body 10 is formed by engaging twoframes 12. In this preferred embodiment, thebrush body 10 is formed by engaging twoframes 12, and eachframe 12 has aholding portion 121, and the twoholding portions 121 of the twoframes 12 are engaged to form a handle. - The
brush pin holder 20 is installed in theframe hole 11 of thebrush body 10 and includes abase plate 21 made of an elastic plastic material and integrally formed by injection molding and a plurality ofbrush pins 22 formed on a surface of thebase plate 21, and thebase plate 21 has a peripheral profile greater than theframe hole 11 of thebrush body 10, and thebase plate 21 has a plurality of throughholes 211 formed at positions in an area enclosed by theframe hole 11. - Basically, when the hair brush of the present invention is used, a user holds the
brush body 10 directly and brushes the hair by thebrush pins 22. For example, the user holds the periphery of theframe hole 11 of thebrush body 10 or a handle of thebrush body 10 to brush the hair by thebrush pins 22. When needed, the hair brush may be put into water for washing and cleaning. - The design of the
frame hole 11 and throughholes 211 is provided for removing dirt accumulated at a root portion of thebrush pins 22 and allowing both front and back sides of thebrush pin holder 20 to have a better ventilation effect to prevent the growth of bacteria or the production of repulsive smells, so as to help maintaining the quality of hygiene of the whole hair brush. - In the hair brush of an embodiment of the present invention, the
brush pin holder 20 further has an aperture formed at a center position of thebase plate 21, and the aperture is greater than awindow 212 of each throughhole 211 The design of thewindow 212 improves the ventilation effect of both front and back sides of thebrush pin holder 20. - Each
brush pin 22 as shown inFIG. 3 has abase 221 coupled to thebase plate 21 and abrush portion 222 coupled to thebase 221, and thebase 221 has an external diameter greater than the external diameter of thebrush portion 222. The design of thebase 221 andbrush portion 222 of thebrush pin 22 enhances the resilience of thebrush pins 22 to prevent thebrush pins 22 from being tilted or deformed, and allows users to brush their hair with larger gaps, so as to allow hot air of a hair dryer to blow into inner layers of the hair and expedite the blow-dry process of the hair. - In the whole hair brush as shown in
FIG. 5 , thebase plate 21 of thebrush pin holder 20 has a plurality ofbristles 30, and abase 221′ provided for fixing the plurality ofbristles 30 and coupling thebase plate 21. With the design of thebristles 30, the cuticle of the hair can be brushed smoothly by thebristles 30 to give a bright luster to the hair. - Of course, the hair brush of an embodiment of the present invention may arrange the plurality of
bristles 30 disposed on thebase plate 21 of thebrush pin holder 20 and abase 221′ provided for fixing the plurality ofbristles 30 and coupling the base plate 21 (as shown inFIG. 5 ), and thebrush pin holder 20 has an aperture formed at a center position of thebase plate 21, and the aperture is greater than awindow 212 of each through hole 211 (as shown inFIG. 4 ); and eachbrush pin 22 has abase 221 coupled to thebase plate 21 and abrush portion 222 coupled to the base 221 (as shown inFIG. 3 ), and thebase 221 preferably has an external diameter greater than the external diameter of thebrush portion 222. - In each of the aforementioned embodiment of the hair brush of the present invention, the
brush pin holder 20 may have a plurality ofbrush pins 22 with at least two different lengths as shown inFIG. 3 or 5 , and thebrush pin 22 with at least two different lengths are configured into a staggered arrangement to providing a brushing effect for different layers of the hair. - In the hair brush of the present invention, each
brush pin 20 has abase 221 coupled to thebase plate 21 and abrush portion 222 coupled to thebase 221, and thebase 221 has an external diameter greater than the external, diameter of thebrush portion 222, and thebrush portion 222 of eachbrush pin 22 has an external diameter tapered towards the rear end. - In the hair brush of the present invention, each
brush pin 22 has abase 221 coupled to thebase plate 21 and abrush portion 222 coupled to thebase 221, and thebase 221 has an external diameter greater than the external diameter of thebrush portion 222, and thebrush pin holder 22 has a plurality ofbrush pins 22 with at least two different lengths, the at least two different lengths, andsuch brush pins 22 are configured into a staggered arrangement, and thebrush portion 222 of eachbrash pin 22 preferably has an external diameter tapered towards the rear end. - Compared with the prior art, the hair brush of the present invention adopts the design of the frame hole and through holes to help maintaining the quality of hygiene of the whole hair brush and the design of the base and brush portion of the brush pins to enhance the resilience of the brush pins to prevent the brush pins from being tilted or deformed and allows users to brush their hair with larger gaps, so as to facilitate hot air of a hair dryer to blow into inner layers of the hair and expedite the process of blowing dry the hair. In addition, the design of the brush pins having at least two different heights and configured into a staggered arrangement to provide an effect of brushing hair with different layers, and the bristles are provided for brushing the cuticle of the hair to produce a bright luster to the hair.
- While the invention has been described by way of example and in terms of a preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that the invention is not limited thereto. To the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and similar arrangements and procedures, and the scope of the appended claims therefore should be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and similar arrangements and procedures.
Claims (10)
1. A hair brush, comprising:
a brush body, having a through frame hole;
a brush pin holder, installed at the frame hole of the brush body, and having a base plate made of an elastic plastic material and integrally formed with the brush pin holder by injection molding, and a plurality of brush pins erected from a surface of the base plate, and the base plate having a peripheral profile greater than the frame hole of brush body, and the base plate further including a plurality of through holes formed thereon and in an area enclosed by the frame hole.
2. The hair brush according to claim 1 , wherein the brush pin holder has an aperture formed at the center position, and the aperture is greater than a window of each through hole.
3. The hair brush according to claim 1 , wherein each brush pin of the brush pin holder has a base coupled to the base plate and a brush portion coupled to the base, and the base has an external diameter relatively greater than the external diameter of the brush portion.
4. The hair brush according to claim 1 , wherein the hair brush has a plurality of bristles disposed on the base plate of the brush pin holder, and a base for fixing the plurality of bristles and coupling the base plate.

The hair brush according to claim 1 , wherein the hair brush has a plurality of bristles disposed on the base plate of the brush pin holder and a base for fixing the plurality of bristles and coupling the base plate, and the brush pin holder has an aperture formed at a center position of the base plate and greater than a window of each through hole, and each brash pin has a base coupled to the base plate and a brush portion coupled to the base, and the base has an external diameter greater than the external diameter of the brush portion.
6. The hair brush according to claim 3 or 5 , wherein the brush portion of each brush pin has an external diameter tapered towards the rear end.
7. The hair brush according to any one of claims 1 to 5 , wherein the brush pin holder has a plurality of brush pins with at least two different lengths and configured into a staggered arrangement.
8. The hair brush according to claim 3 or 5 , wherein the brush pin holder has a plurality of brush pins with at least two different lengths and configured into a staggered arrangement; and the brush portion of each brush pin has an external diameter tapered towards the rear end.
9. The hair brush according to claim 1 , wherein the brush body is formed by engaging two frames.
10. The hair brush according to claim 1 , wherein the brush body is formed by engaging two frames and each frame has a holding portion, and the two holding portions of the frames are engaged to form a handle.
