Description
- The present invention relates to a plastic clip structure, and more particularly to a springless plastic clip structure.
- A conventional hair clip includes a left clip body, a right clip body, and a metal spring connected between the left clip body and the right clip body. When in use, the metal spring may pull or tear down the user's hair. The user feels uncomfortable. After a long period of use, the metal spring is prone to rust, which affects the appearance and performance of the hair clip. Moreover, when the hair clip is assembled, the assembly of the metal spring located between the left clip body and the right clip body is more troublesome. As a result, it is difficult to improve the production efficiency of the hair clip. This is not beneficial to control the cost of the hair clip. When in use, the metal spring may shift or disengage from the hair clip to affect the function of the hair clip.
- Accordingly, the inventor of the present invention has devoted himself based on his many years of practical experiences to solve these problems by using an elastic plastic member instead of the metal spring.
- In view of the shortcomings of the prior art, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a springless plastic clip structure which can avoid the troubles that the metal spring rusts, falls off, pulls or tears down the hair, and so on, so as to improve the safety and reliability of the hair clip for use. The hair clip of the present invention has the advantages of simple structure, easy molding and easy assembly, and improves the production efficiency and the market competitiveness of the products.
- In order to achieve the aforesaid object, the springless plastic clip structure of the present invention comprises a left clip body, a right clip body, and an elastic plastic member. The left clip body and the right clip body each include a grip section, an intermediate connection section, and a clip section which are sequentially connected from rear to front. The elastic plastic member has a left adhesive surface and a right adhesive surface. A right side of the intermediate connection section of the left clip body is bonded and fixed to the left adhesive surface of the elastic plastic member. A left side of the intermediate connection section of the right clip body is bonded and fixed to the right adhesive surface of the elastic plastic member.
- When in use, the grip sections of the left clip body and the right clip body are pressed, a rear section of the elastic plastic member is compressed and deformed, and a front section of the plastic elastic member is pulled to spread the clip sections of the left clip body and the right clip body. When the grip sections of the left clip body and the right clip body are released, the clip sections of the left clip body and the right clip body are driven and restored by an elastic force of the elastic plastic member to clip an object to be clipped.
- Preferably, a front end of the elastic plastic member is provided with a plurality of transverse grooves arranged from up to down, an elastic rib between every two of the grooves, and a pair of connecting walls connected with left and right ends of the grooves as well as left and right ends of the elastic rib.
- Preferably, the left adhesive surface and the right adhesive surface of the elastic plastic member each include a curved configuration having a middle indentation and two ends extending outwardly. The right side of the intermediate connection section of the left clip body and the left side of the intermediate connection section of the right clip body are mated with the curved configuration.
- Preferably, the elastic plastic member is formed of elastoplastics or silica gel by injection molding.
- Preferably, the clip section is formed with a plurality of clip teeth, and each of the teeth is provided with an anti-slip projection on an inner side thereof.
- Preferably, the left clip body and the right clip body are separately formed by molding.
- Preferably, the left clip body and the right clip body are made of a hard plastic.

FIG. 8 is a sectional view taken along line M-M ofFIG. 7 . - Embodiments of the present invention will now be described, by way of example only, with reference to the accompanying drawings.
- As shown in
FIG. 1 toFIG. 8 , a springless plastic clip structure according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises aleft clip body 1, aright clip body 2, and an elasticplastic member 3. - The
left clip body 1 and theright clip body 2 each include agrip section 4, anintermediate connection section 5, and aclip section 6 which are sequentially connected from rear to front. The elasticplastic member 3 has a leftadhesive surface 7 and a rightadhesive surface 8. A right side of theintermediate connection section 5 of theleft clip body 1 is bonded and fixed to the leftadhesive surface 7 of the elasticplastic member 3. A left side of theintermediate connection section 5 of theright clip body 2 is bonded and fixed to the rightadhesive surface 8 of the elasticplastic member 3. - In this present embodiment, the elastic
plastic member 3 is formed of elastoplastics or silica gel by injection molding. The leftadhesive surface 7 and the rightadhesive surface 8 of the elasticplastic member 3 each include a curved configuration having a middle indentation and two ends extending outwardly. The right side of theintermediate connection section 5 of theleft clip body 1 and the left side of theintermediate connection section 5 of theright clip body 2 are mated with the curved configuration. Specifically, a front end of the elasticplastic member 3 is provided with a plurality oftransverse grooves 9 arranged from up to down, anelastic rib 11 between every two of thegrooves 9, and a pair of connectingwalls 11 connected with left and right ends of thegrooves 9 as well as left and right ends of theelastic rib 11. - The
left clip body 1 and theright clip body 2 are separately formed by molding. Preferably, theleft clip body 1 and theright clip body 2 are made of a hard plastic. Theclip section 6 is formed with a plurality ofclip teeth 12. Each of theteeth 12 is provided with ananti-slip projection 13 on an inner side thereof, such that the hair clip is positioned so as not to fall off from the hair. - When the hair clip is used, the
grip sections 4 of theleft clip body 1 and theright clip body 2 are pressed, and the rear section of the elasticplastic member 3 is compressed and deformed, and the front section of the plasticelastic member 3 is pulled to spread theclip sections 6 of theleft clip body 1 and theright clip body 2. When thegrip sections 4 of theleft clip body 1 and theright clip body 2 are released, theclip sections 6 of theleft clip body 1 and theright clip body 2 are driven and restored by the elastic force of the elasticplastic member 3 to clip an object to be clipped. - The key point of this invention is that it mainly uses the elastic plastic member instead of the metal spring of the prior art to avoid the troubles that the metal spring rots, falls off, pulls or tears down the hair, and so on, so as to improve the safety and reliability of the hair clip for use. The hair clip of the present invention has the advantages of simple structure, easy molding and easy assembly, and improves the production efficiency and the market competitiveness of the products.
- Although particular embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail for purposes of illustration, various modifications and enhancements may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the present invention. Accordingly, the present invention is not to be limited except as by the appended claims.
