  • This application claims foreign priority under Paris Convention to Korean Patent Application No. 10-2016-0005523, filed 15 Jan. 2016, with the Korean Intellectual Property Office.
  • BACKGROUND
  • The present invention relates to a kids café having themed play facilities and food-and-beverage offering facilities which allows infants or children who are aged between two and seven to have a good time in various playrooms in safety and allows their parents or guardians to read books, have a talk with their friends, drink tea or take a rest comfortably without paying attention to their infants or children.
  • There are lots of playing facilities for children installed indoors. The conventional playing facilities for children installed indoors are prefabricated slides, tunnel structures and ladder structures which are constructed by plastic injection molding and are standardized, and ball pools which are filled with a number of small rubber balls. Recently, jungle gym structures are used.
  • However, because such playing facilities for children are structures installed individually, children cannot use the playing facilities of various kinds in succession as they want. So, children may lose interest in the playing facilities while moving from one of the facilities to another of the facilities or may get injured by bumping against the facilities. Therefore, their parents or guardians cannot take a rest because they must always take care of their children.
  • In the meantime, in order to overcome the above-mentioned problems, Korean Patent No. 10-1490293 discloses themed playrooms in a cafe for kids, which has been granted on Jan. 30, 2015 and invented by the same inventor of the present invention, hereinafter called ‘prior art’. Referring to FIG. 1, the kids café having themed play facilities and food-and-beverage offering facilities according to the present invention includes: a supermarket playroom 10 of a lower layer where children can do market play and kitchen play; a first themed playroom 20 of an upper layer where children can play with toys; a net room 25 which has at least two-story play spaces 26 constructed in the air from the floor, at least three pocket spaces 27 and a bridge 28; a second themed playroom 30 which has a plurality of rooms to provide children with various experiences; an air bounce room 40 which is constructed of an air mattress with an air layer thickness of 30 cm or more so that children can do sky jumping; a rock-climbing structure 50 for development of children's physical strength and courage; a ball pool 60 which has a frame 63 filled with lots of balls; a block playroom 70 where children can play with building blocks; a vehicle track 80 enabling children to develop their physical strength and experience an early traffic safety education by playing with cars; a nursing room 90 where mothers feed babies; a throwing game room 100 where children throw balls to a target so that the balls stick to the target; a PC game room 110 enabling children to develop their EQ and IQ; a baby-only theater 120 enabling babies to develop their imagination; a cave play facility 130 enabling children to develop their adventurous spirit and physical strength; a reading room 140 where children read books together with their parents; a cypress chip room 150 which is filled with cypress chips 161; and a rest area 180 having tables 181 and chairs 182, wherein all of the spaces are connected with one another so that children and their parents or guardians have a great time indoors while enjoying tea, beverage or food. The above-mentioned components will be described in more detail as follows.
  • First, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 4, the supermarket playroom 10 includes shelves 10 c having partitions so as to display various kinds of model vegetables, fruits, fishes and others in order, a toy gas range 11, a toy sink 12, a main exit 10 a and a sofa-connected passage 10 b. The first themed playroom 20 is formed above the supermarket playroom 10.
  • In the meantime, children can come and go between the supermarket playroom 10 and the first themed playroom 20 through a staircase 1020, and in this instance, the staircase 1020 may be a mono-layer type staircase or a slide-type staircase. Inner parts of the supermarket playroom 10 and the first themed playroom 20 and the staircase 1020 are formed with shock absorbing pads (C) of a proper thickness and finishing sheets (T) doubly so that infants can walk or crawl up and down. However, the shock absorbing pads (C) and the finishing sheets (T) are not necessarily applied but may be applied according to interior finishing materials.
  • For instance, if the inner parts of the supermarket playroom 10 and the first themed playroom 20 are constructed with hardwood or special foamed materials, because the hardwood and the special foamed materials function to absorb shock and prevent injury, there is no need to form the inner parts of the supermarket playroom 10 and the first themed playroom 20 with the shock absorbing pads (C) and the finishing sheets (T) doubly. Therefore, whether or not to use the shock absorbing pads (C) and the finishing sheets (T) doubly is applied to all themed playroom facilities of the present invention.
  • Furthermore, the supermarket playroom 10 has a sofa connection passage 10 b formed on the front face, and the sofa connection passage 10 b has a threshold height of about 30 cm or more in consideration of a height of a sofa (S) fixed to a wall body (B) and the sofa (S) is formed along the surface (A) of the inside wall of a building.
  • In the meantime, the first themed playroom 20 may be partitioned into two rooms. At one side of the first themed playroom 20, the net room 25 which has at least two-story play spaces 26 constructed in the air from the floor and at least three pocket spaces 27 is first fixed to the ceiling and is connected and fixed with the first themed playroom 20 through the bridge 28.
  • Meanwhile, when the sofa (S) is elongated and is connected with the reading room 140 which has a sofa connection passage 140 a in the direction to face the supermarket playroom 10, the sofa (S) becomes a bridge to allow children to come and go between the supermarket playroom 10 and the reading room 140.
  • Additionally, children can go from the first themed playroom 20 to the supermarket playroom 10, which is located below the first themed playroom 20, or from the supermarket playroom 10 to the first themed playroom 20 through the staircase 1020. Alternatively, children can go from the first themed playroom 20 to the second themed playroom 30, which has many rooms, through a connection passage 2030. The first themed playroom 20 has a transparent window 20 b and a handrail 20 a formed on the front face thereof so that children who play inside the first themed playroom 20 and parents who take a rest in the rest area 180 can see each other.
  • As illustrated in FIG. 3, the second themed playroom 30 has a first room 31, a second room 32, a third room 33, a fourth room 34, a fifth room 35 and a sixth room 36 which are connected with one another.
  • The connection passage 2030 enables children to come and go between the first themed playroom 20 and the first room 31, a connection passage 3040 enables children to come and go between the sixth room 36 and the air bounce room 40, a first passage staircase 30 a enable children to come and go between the first room 31 and the second room 32, a second passage staircase 30 b enable children to come and go between the second room 32 and the fourth room 34, a third passage staircase 30 c enable children to come and go between the second room 32 and the third room 33, a fourth passage staircase 30 d enable children to come and go between the third room 33 and the fifth room 35, a fifth passage staircase 30 e enable children to come and go between the fourth room 34 and the fifth room 35, and a sixth passage staircase 30 f enable children to freely come and go between the fifth room 35 and the sixth room 36.
  • In the meantime, the first room 31 to the sixth room 36 have transparent windows 37 formed on the front faces thereof so that children who play inside the rooms and parents who take a rest in the rest area 180 can see and check each other in real time.
  • Moreover, the air bounce room 40 is constructed at one side of the second themed playroom 30. In this instance, the air bounce room 40 includes an air mattress 41 and an air tube wall 42 which are filled with air by a fan motor (M). The connection passage 3040 is connected to the air tube wall 42 so that children can come and go between the air tube wall 42 and the sixth room 36, and a cushion panel 43 which functions as a bridge and prevents a hurt from a fall is mounted on the front face of the air mattress 41.
  • Furthermore, as illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 6, a plurality of the rock climbing structures 50 are constructed on the wall body (D) so that children can climb rocks while grasping with the hands and stepping with the feet so as to cultivate physical strength and adventurous spirit.
  • Additionally, as illustrated in FIG. 7, the frame 63 which has an exit 61 and a fence 62 is connected with the wall body (D) and is mounted at one side of the air bounce room 40. After that, the frame 63 is filled with lots of plastic rubber balls 64 with a diameter of about 10 cm to a height of over 40 cm so that children can enjoy swimming in the ball pool 60. At one side of the ball pool 60, the block playroom 70 where children assemble blocks into houses, cars, robots and others in order to develop their intelligence.
  • In addition, the vehicle track 80 is constructed in a predetermined area of the floor (B) inside the building so that children can enjoy a car racing game. In this instance, as illustrated in FIGS. 8, 9 and 12, the vehicle track 80 includes a fence wall 85 having an exit 80 a, a central blocking wall 83 functioning as a median strip, an uphill road 81 and a downhill road 82.
  • In the meantime, the uphill road 81 is formed in such a way that an uphill slope section 81 a having a slope and a rest section 81 b having a horizontal plane are repeated at least twice to the top (U), and the downhill road 82 is formed in such a way that a downhill slope section 82 a having a slope and a speed control section 82 b having a horizontal plane are repeated at least twice.
  • Moreover, the central blocking wall 83 has the height that a child who is sitting in a car 200 can see the face of another child who is sitting in another car of the opposite side, and the fence wall 85 having the exit 80 a is as high as children.
  • Furthermore, a cushion mat 86 is mounted on the floor surface of an arrival point 88 b of the downhill road 82, and a shock absorbing jaw 87 for absorbing shock when the child fails in speed control is mounted at an end portion of the cushion mat 86 which is at right angles to the fence wall 85.
  • Additionally, the uphill road 81, the downhill road 82, the central blocking wall 83 and the fence wall 85 are constructed in such a way that wood frames (P) are mounted vertically and horizontally and a plywood plate (W), shock absorbing pads (C) and finishing sheets (T) are piled up one on another in order.
  • In addition, a lane marking (L) may be indicated on the upper surface of the plywood plates (W) of the uphill road 81 and the downhill road 82, but as occasion demands, it is preferable to indicate the lane marking (L) after the finishing sheet (T) made of a hard rubber material is piled up on the plywood plate.
  • In the meantime, as occasion demands, the uphill slope section 81 a and the rest section 81 b may form the uphill road 81 and the downhill road 82 with a simple structure. Alternatively, in some cases, the vehicle track 80 may include only the central blocking wall 83 formed at the center and the fence wall 85 formed around the central blocking wall 83 without the uphill road 81 and the downhill road 82 so that cars can run unidirectionally or bidirectionally.
  • In addition, the central blocking wall 83 and the fence wall 85 also have shock absorbing pads (C) and finishing sheets (T) of a predetermined thickness so as to prevent children's injury by absorbing shock when children are bumped against the walls 83 and 85 while being absorbed in playing.
  • However, if the interior is constructed with hardwood or special foamed materials, because the hardwood and the special foamed materials function to absorb shock and prevent injury, there is no need to form the interior with the shock absorbing pads (C) and the finishing sheets (T) doubly. Therefore, use of the shock absorbing pads (C) and the finishing sheets (T) doubly is selectively determined according to interior finishing materials.
