Abstract

A sheet tissue paper container and dispensing unit for beauty parlor end wraps and the like, is disclosed. A stack of individual sheet tissues are placed in the dispensing unit in either a folded or unfolded condition wherein the tissues are singly dispensed using a pull tab having a sticky back wherein the sheets of tissues are lifted for optimal dispensing thereby avoiding chaining and fallback.

Description

FIELD OF THE INVENTION

This invention relates to sheet tissue paper dispenser or tissue box attachment, more particularly, the invention relates to a sheet tissue paper dispenser or tissue box attachment for dispensing individual sheet tissues one by one.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

The present invention is concerned with tissue paper dispensing attachment, packaging for tissue paper sheets and interfolding arrangements for tissue paper sheets. The present invention is concerned with absorbent tissue paper sheets of all kinds, including toilet tissue paper sheets/hygiene paper sheets/non-woven absorbent sheets, facial tissue paper sheets, kitchen paper towel type tissue paper sheets, hand towel type paper sheets, paper napkins, moist wipes, etc
Various types of tissue paper packages are known in the art. There is toilet tissue paper, which is generally provided as a roll of tissue paper. The toilet tissue paper is in the form of a continuous web of tissue paper divided into sheets, each about the length of a hand (but smaller and larger sheets are also known), by a perforation line across the web. The web of toilet tissue paper is wrapped about a tubular core.
Kitchen tissue paper for wiping up kitchen spills is often also provided in the form of a foil of tissue. It is also known to provide toilet tissue paper as a stack, rather than as a roll. The sheets of toilet paper are interfolded so that as one sheet is pulled out, the next sheet comes with it to protrude partly through a dispensing opening of a holding wall mounted dispenser holding the stack. The stack may be wrapped in a thin paper that has to be removed before the dispenser is loaded.
There is also known facial tissue paper, which may be provided as a stack of interfolded tissue paper sheets. A box containing the tissue paper stack has a dispensing opening through which the facial tissue paper sheets can be withdrawn, one-by-one. To ease the process of pulling out of tissues, interfolding of the tissue paper sheets is done which enables the withdrawal of a succeeding sheet to partly pull out a preceding sheet. A partly pulled out sheet thus sticks out from the dispensing opening for ease of grabbing and withdrawing. The box is disposable in that it is made of biodegradable materials such as cardboard.
A stack of toilet tissue paper sheets may be provided for dispensing from a permanent dispenser. Refill packs of toilet tissue paper sheets are provided to fill the dispenser. Paper towel dispensers are also known in the art. Generally these dispensers are of large size, costly and hence they are used in business or away from home environments. Further these dispensers are not easy to load. Another reason for it may be that the present designs of the dispenser do not fit with what people expect or want in a domestic environment.
Hence there arise a need to have a simple, easy to use, economic to produce and cost effective device to make the tissue loading and dispensing process more economically friendly for user and is suitable to fulfill the domestic purpose.
In general, a tissue paper box is provided with a paper outlet longitudinally at a center part of the top plate of the box and a film having a slit through which paper is taken out, is adhered to the back surface of the plate.
In removing sheet tissues from their tissue box difficulty is often encountered, that is a single tissue is difficult to remove from the container without picking up extra tissues at the same time. The removal of a single tissue from its container is often facilitated by wetting a finger and using that wet finger to remove the tissue from its container. The finger wetting process is unsightly to the patron and allows the tissue to absorb moisture. The current invention provides an innovative attachment which suitably overcomes all of the above drawbacks of above mentioned existing prior art designs and devices.

SUMMARY OF INVENTION

It is an inherent object of the invention to provide a tissue paper box with an attachment from which tissue paper can be continuously taken out to the last paper.
It is also an object of the invention to provide a tissue box allowing for optimal dispensing, in particular avoiding chaining and fallback.
It is also an object of this invention to provide an attachment for sheet tissue paper container and dispensing unit for beauty parlor end wraps and the like, whereby a stack of individual sheet tissues can be placed in the unit and be singly dispensed.
Another object of this invention is to provide a viable economical solution that is a simple configuration that enables the domestic and household users to have a system allowing optimal dispensing preferably one tissue at a time that is reusable, easy to attach, easy to dispose and is eco-friendly in nature.
Other objectives of the invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art once the invention has been shown and described. These objectives are not to be construed as limitations of applicant's invention, but are merely aimed to suggest some of the many benefits that may be realized by the apparatus of the present application and with its many embodiments. In addition to the various objects and advantages of the present invention described with some degree of specificity above it should be obvious that additional objects and advantages of the present invention will become more readily apparent to those persons who are skilled in the relevant art from the following more detailed description of the invention.

FIG. 3 is a graphical view of the stacking of the tissues with pull tap over the tissues folded;

FIG. 4 is a graphical view of the stacking of the tissues with pull tap when the tissues are folded in accordance with the present invention; and

FIG. 5 is a graphical view of the stacking of the tissues with pull tap inside a tissue box when the tissues are folded and a single tissue is ready to be extracted in accordance with the present invention.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF INVENTION

Referring now to FIGS. 1 through 5, in a preferred embodiment, the invention provides an improved tissue box 24 comprising the stack of sheets 10. The tissue box 24 is able to resist tissues 10 undesirably falling out of the dispensing opening 26 when they are not being withdrawn. In particular, the tissue stack may be mounted by a pull tab 18.
Preferably, the sheets 10 are interfolded in an interfolding pattern 10A whereby each sheet 10 is folded 10 in a way so as to comprise a leading panel and a trailing panel, and whereby for any given sheet 10 in the stack, the leading and trailing panels have a trailing panel of a next sheet and a leading panel of a previous sheet disposed between panels of the given tissue in face to face relation.
Turning now to FIG. 1, there is shown the tissues 10 having original fold 16 and length and width 14, 12 of 8×4 inches, respectively which is a two ply sheet (not shown), in accordance with the present invention. When folded in half the sheet 10A obtained is a 4×4 sheet 10A which make it a four ply sheet, as shown in FIG. 4. Tissues then are folded back on each other, just like the original 8×4 sheets 14, 12. The new 4×4 sheets 10A now fit a smaller tissue box 24 with the same configuration. For easy dispensing without binding, this folding pattern also works for 2×2 inch tissues (not shown).
As illustrated in FIGS. 1 and 2, a pull tab 18 is provided, wherein the pull tab 18 may be fabricated from a paper having a sticky back, having 1×2 inch paper strip 22. The 1×2 strip 22 is then placed in the middle of the 4×4 tissue 10A folded back on the edge and thus sticky sides facing each other. The tab 18 could be of different lengths, widths, thickness and placement, depending on what it is used for.
Turning to FIGS. 3 and 4, the tissues 10 are shown stacked and unfolded 11. However, it should be understood, that the pull tab 18 is placed and located on each tissue 10 individually thereby making the folded tissue stack 10A, as shown in FIG. 4. The pull tab 18 is designed to start the first sheet 11, leaving the second one in its place, and so forth. In one preferred embodiment, a lift base measures 4( 3/18)″×4( 3/18)″, two tab straps ¾×6″ centered at 2( 3/18)″ opposite to each other on the base, made as a whole piece. Referring now to FIG. 5, the folded tissue stack 10A is placed and sits inside a tissue box 24, wherein the pull tab 18 is lifted up through a center slit opening 26 located at the top of box 24.
In another preferred embodiment, the tissue stack is placed on the base of a lift platform (not shown) inside the box. A plurality of straps (not shown) are used to lift the platform (not shown) up to the top half of the box to keep the tissues snug, while the tissues are being used up. The straps continue to lengthen with each level of the pull. A plurality of sleeves or Velcro buttons (not shown) are used to keep the straps securely out of the way wherein the placement is on the same side as the tab straps. The sleeves measure 1×5″, attached to the center 2(⅜), outside of the box on the same side as the tab straps (not shown). Additionally, there is a placement of five Velcro buttons (not shown) attached to the center 2(⅜)″ wherein each button is placed on the outside of the strap, so when bent over the free edge, it faces the box side, at ½″ measurement a button is placed. Placement of the four remaining Velcro buttons are spaced 1″ apart down the middle. Also a self-sticking tape may be used which enables the tissues to lay flat.
The purpose of the platform lift is to keep tissues snug as tissues are used. It should be understood that in use the lift platform keeps the tissue stack moving up to the top half of the box while simultaneously stops the fall back of tissues. All the parts of lift are constructed of the same paper as the tissue box. The easy tab with lift has a size of 4×4″ with tabs having a size of ½×6 inches. These Tabs are placed in box having a size of 5×4(½)″ provided with an opening for the Tabs of ½×7″.
Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention. It is to be understood that the above description is intended to be illustrative, and not restrictive.

Claims

What is claimed is:

1. A tissue box comprising:

One or more tissues having a length of 4×4 inches;

a pull tab comprising of paper with a sticky back and placed in the middle of said one or more tissues wherein said 4×4 tissue is folded back on an edge and said tab and said one or more tissues have sticky sides facing each other.

2. The tissue box according to claim 1, wherein said one or more tissues are in an unfolded position.

3. The tissue box according to claim 1, wherein said tab having a dimension of ½×6 inches.

4. The tissue box according to claim 1, wherein said one or more folded tissues are placed in a box having a dimension of 5×4(½)″ wherein said box defines a slit at the top for allowing individual tissues to be pulled out using said tab.

5. The tissue box according to claim 1, wherein said one or more folded tissues are placed at a base of a platform inside a box wherein a plurality of straps is used to lift said platform up to a top half of said box to keep said one or more folded tissues snug while individual tissues are being used up wherein said straps continue to lengthen with each level of pull.

6. The tissue box according to claim 5, wherein a plurality of sleeves or Velcro buttons are used to keep said straps securely out of the way wherein the placement is on the same side as said tab straps.

7. The tissue box according to claim 6, wherein said plurality of sleeves or Velcro buttons are five Velcro buttons attached to a center wherein each button is placed outside of said strap so when bent over the free edge it faces a box side wherein placement of said four remaining Velcro buttons are spaced 1″ apart down the middle.

8. The tissue box according to claim 7, wherein said plurality of sleeves measure 1×5″, attached to a center outside of said box on a same side as said tab straps.
