Abstract

A makeup applicator is configured to apply makeup to an upper eye region and a lower eye region around a human eye. The makeup applicator has a central handle further connected to a first tapered arm. A central cavity is formed within the first tapered arm and the central handle. A first support cavity is formed within the first tapered arm. A first wing opening is formed at a distal end of the first tapered arm. A first applicator fills the first wing opening, the first support cavity and some of the central cavity. Makeup fills the central cavity. The makeup is absorbed onto the first applicator in order to be applied to the upper eye region.

Description

    RELATED APPLICATION
  • This application claims priority to provisional patent application U.S. Ser. No. 62/264,218 filed on Dec. 7, 2015, the entire contents of which is herein incorporated by reference.
  • BACKGROUND
  • The embodiments herein relate generally to make up devices. Prior to embodiments of the disclosed invention, applying an eyeliner design (wings, swirls, etc.) on both eyes in a symmetric fashion required a lot of experience and skills. Some endeavors in this field include: U.S. Patent Application 2015/0083158 issued to Abraham; U.S. Pat. No. 8,939,159 issued to Yeo; and U.S. Pat. No 7,334,586 issued to Pilmanis. Abraham teaches a pen with a body having a single end with a single applicator. Yeo teaches an eyeliner guide with a wing. Pilmanis uses a stamp. However, none of these teach a pen with a central cavity to disperse makeup to two applicators. Embodiments of the disclosed invention solve this problem.
  • SUMMARY
  • A makeup applicator is configured to apply makeup to an upper eye region and a lower eye region around a human eye.

  • DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF CERTAIN EMBODIMENTS
  • By way of example, and referring to FIG. 1, one embodiment of the make-up applicator 10 comprises central handle 12. Central handle 12 is further connected to first tapered arm 14A. First tapered arm 14A further comprises central cavity 16 and first support cavity 18A. Support cavity 18A terminates at a distal end with first wing opening 20A. First wing opening 20A, support cavity 18A and some of central cavity 16 are filled with first applicator 22A.
  • First applicator 22A further comprises first applicator feed end 24A joined to first applicator stamp 26A. First applicator stamp 26A further comprises first applicator stamp back side 28A which is adjacent to first applicator stamp forward side 30A, first applicator stamp rear side 32A, first applicator stamp top side 34A and first applicator stamp bottom side 34A. Similarly, first applicator stamp front side 38A is adjacent to first applicator stamp forward side 30A, first applicator stamp rear side 32A, first applicator stamp top side 34A and first applicator stamp bottom side 34A. Makeup 40 in central cavity 16 is absorbed into first applicator stamp 26A through first applicator feed end 24A. First applicator stamp forward side 30A is attached to first fine applicator tip 42A. First tapered arm 14A can be covered with first cover 44A.
  • Turning to FIGS. 7-9, to use make-up applicator 10, a user first impresses first applicator 22A is pushed onto upper eye U on head H to apply makeup 40 onto upper eye U. After that, first fine applicator tip 42A is drawn across lower eye L to apply makeup 40 onto lower eye L.
  • Central handle 12 is further connected to second tapered arm 14B. Second tapered arm 14B further comprises central cavity 16 and second support cavity 18B. Support cavity 18B terminates at a distal end with second wing opening 20B. Second wing opening 20B, support cavity 18B and some of central cavity 16 are filled with second applicator 22B.
  • Second applicator 22B further comprises second applicator feed end 24B joined to second applicator stamp 26B. Second applicator stamp 26B further comprises second applicator stamp back side 28B which is adjacent to second applicator stamp forward side 30B, second applicator stamp rear side 32B, second applicator stamp top side 34B and second applicator stamp bottom side 34B. Similarly, second applicator stamp front side 38B is adjacent to second applicator stamp forward side 30B, second applicator stamp rear side 32B, second applicator stamp top side 34B and second applicator stamp bottom side 34B. Makeup 40 in central cavity 16 is absorbed into second applicator stamp 26B through second applicator feed end 24B. Second applicator stamp forward side 30B is attached to second fine applicator tip 42B. Second tapered arm 14B can be covered with second cover 44B.
  • Turning to FIGS. 7-9, to use make-up applicator 10, a user second impresses second applicator 22B is pushed onto upper eye region U on head H to apply makeup 40 onto upper eye region U. After that, second fine applicator tip 42B is drawn across lower eye region L to apply makeup 40 onto lower eye region L.
